Thanks for bringing us here. Did not know the cemetery was here. Enjoyed the hunt. Fav point
A nice quick find and thankfully no bugs!! On our way from Rollingstone to Cairns today. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
A day of caching with the cousin!! Never knew this cemetery was here! Mozzie central!! We were eaten alive. TFTC
On our Saturday drive to get out of the house. Our second find for the day. The blue heeler is so friendly. TFTF
We have been able to explore the area and take in all the sights and sounds of the city. Despite the humidity, the weather has been quite pleasant and we have enjoyed our stay. We still have a few days left before we head back on way to Mackay and we are looking forward to seeing what else Townsville. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache Driftindillons.
Northern escape Day 2On a longweekend trip from Mackay to Cooktown and back.Crazy, I know.Pulled up and a quick find was made.SL TFTC
Found this on my way to Cairns from Cardwell the drive was 2 and a half hours. I fell asleep for 20 min, anyway the drive was good and sadly I didn't get to see the dog but all good. TFTC
Apologies for the late log here (27.12.23) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.An interesting spot for a cache - one you'd drive right past without. I liked my look around while heading towards some more falls.TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
What an inexpected surprise to find a lonely cemetry.
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

A quick find today. Log signed and out again before the mozzies caught me. Log is damp but is still functional
Wow those mozzies are like a swarm of little vampires even in the middle of the day. Cache was out in the open and log is a bit damp.

Having passed this way many, many times, it was surprising to find this location. We spent some time with the residents, found the cache and continued on our way. TFTC SL
Good little hide. Saw a glimpse of the lid and bingo. Respectfully went through the graves to try and work out who was related to who. Great history of the area
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 867. Tully Day 1. Train from Tully to Brisbane day 1. The rain has lulled for the moment and I was able to jump in the car and drive 15km south of Tully to do one of the caches there before heading back to camp and shutting everything up for my eight day trip away on the trains. This started with a walk to the train station and then an interminably long night on the train as we slowly worked our way south to between St Lawrence & Rockhampton by midnight.
There are not many caches left on the Bruce Highway, so I left this one for today. All I really have to say about this spot is mozzies mozzies mozzies. Oh, and the cache.
Thanks for the cache Driftindillons

Libby the resident dog greeted us with open arms literally! Thanks for bring us to the beautiful dead centre of town.
Didn't find it. Found a small log and plenty of mosquitos, but the cache escaped.
So today’s our last day up north this trip. We came up for the Mega and have spent the last 2 weeks hanging around for a 70th birthday party at Kurrimine tonight. We had a few spare hours this morning so headed out to pick up the ones we missed the other day.
We won’t be doing any caching on the way home to Brisbane as it’s a quick trip so we’re home to get ready to fly to Tassie on Sunday!
Certainly needed the insect repellent here!!!
Thanks Driftindillons for the cache.

Our first mozzie attack on this trip! Aero guard needs to be brought out! A happy log
Thanks driftindillons for filling in the gap on the highway !! Was lovely to stop and get amongst nature.. it was terrible weather and we got soaked but found most of them ! Thanks for well maintenance. Highly recommend to find these on sunny days and wear long pants the mozzies are ridiiiculous
Thanks Driftindillons. Log is a bit damp as container had water in it and worthless plastic bag is split as they often do. If i had write in the rain paper i would have swapped it out, but was able to add my name, luckily.
What an interesting location. I have driven past and noticed the sign and wonder what was nearby. I love a respectful, cemetery cache.
Burgo and I couldn’t find it first go, we had a few elements against us including mozzies. The second time covered in Bushman’s we were all good to go.
Thanks so much for the cache

We had a decent search of the area on the way up but came away before being carried away by the mozzies.
On the way back with lunch in hand, a kick of some bark uncovered the cache almost instantly.
The GPS had me about 7 metres away at S 018° 03.835' E 145° 54.481 in a spot that didn’t match the hint. I certainly wouldn’t classify it as that.
Glad we were able to make the find.
Thanks Driftindillons for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

This time, Walter was the lucky finder after a quite extended search. Thanks for keeping us busy!
We enjoyed reading about the history of this area from the information board and having a look at the nearby Cemetery. A lot of history captured here that you would only become aware of by stopping, so thanks Driftindillons for providing the excuse to stop.
It was Walter whose persistence paid off in locating this hide. Added our name to the log sheet too.

Found with gxybuddy . GPS jumped around a bit making it difficult to pin point me to exact log. It was hiding in the hollows. TFTC
