A quick scramble here with the youngest geokid to this cache. Great views. Thanks for the fun and adventure.
Stunning little spot, had a lovely scramble around exploring while I was there. Had a moment replacing the log, balanced in small bit of rock, holding a branch when a gust of wind came thru - whoa, bit of vertigo there
Found today, although the main part of the container is missing so were were unable to sign the lost log.. we looked around on the rocks for a while but were not able to find it.. great views .. and a nice scramble up off the track. Thanks Duntulum.
What a great little climb up to this one. It was a cold and blustery day today on my lovely weekend camping trip to the Grampians.I was elated to find this one because just as I sat down to the log I sighted the most beautiful rainbow over the cliff face.Giving this a favourite just for this experience. And for the Rocky little scramble.TFTC , I really enjoyed it
An amazing view. Must have been the thought of the view that distracted GeoDad from taking the pen with him, so no log signed, but enjoy the view
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Halls Cap yesterday. Today we have all day to explore the Grampians. This cache was found during a nice long walk.**Duntulum**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. Yesterday we drove from Port Fairy to Halls Gap where we will be staying for two nights. For today we have a nice hike to Sundial Peak, the Pinnacle, Venus Baths, the Botanic Gardens and from there back to our cabin. To add to the fun there is a cache every now and then. Evaded some loitering youth nearby and reached GZ where it did not take long to spot the cache. Enjoyed the view while loggings. Thanks so much this one!
Found after checking in to the caravan park and climbed up the rocks to take in the views of the hills and the roos at the bottom of the rocks. The cache was in great condition. TFTC
Found today at 10am with the cache obsessed geo-rodent on his 11th birthday. Was a lot harder than it should have been as we scrambled to the cache only to find my pen had decided to take a holiday in the rocks somewhere. Finally found the pen hanging in the branches and the log was signed.TftcVkc1sr
This cache is very close to the camping ground where we are staying, so I wandered over and made the ascent up the rocks, where I found the the little devil. Nice view of our caravan and also of the Grampians.
Tricky, not where we thought it would be. The log book is a little damp. TFTC
A change in the days plans lead to a nighttime cycling adventure around town. Meaning no views, but an exciting search. Took a minute but trusted coordinates and hint to make the find thank you again
In Halls Gap with Alansee to do some caching. Enjoying the lovely places these caches have been put. Thought I did all my rock climbing yesterday.
Thanks for the cache Duntulum

Thanks for the great little vista above the caravan park nearby. Cache is in good condition but also now a micro.
I flew down from Brisbane today to spend four days in the Grampians with friends. We arrived in torrential rain in Melbourne but was relieved to drive through it and into sunshine. We spent a couple of hours walking around Hall’s Gap on our arrival. This was the final one today as we are staying at the accommodation below. Came up the suggested way, quick find thanks to the hint, and down the opposite way to our cabin. Great view. Tftc
The weather was dreadful, rocks were slippery, no real trail since all the vegetation has grown and it was all wet and supersaturated… now Mrs Riddell is super sodden.
Found the way in and then where? Tried to go as direct as possible trying to be safe and navigate with no idea!
We eventually got to the highest point.
The co ords were spot on. Head height could only be one place and bingo!
Never so happy to see a cache. Mrs Riddell felt like Bear Grills… and mind you the “resort” below/adjacent to this reserve have a Bear Grills Camp abutting this reserve!! ( wonder why?)
Actually it wasn’t that bad, it was just the wet and rain making everything more deadly.
Did not spot the poly pipe.
TFTC… another nice little challenge which probably should have left for a dryer day.
A lovely location but no views today.
Could see a superficial waterfall powering down in the mist opposite but no Grampians views.
Check out the photo, which was taken before a little downpour.
Also 2 emus crossed the road before stopping for the cache.

Thanks to Duntulum, we have completed a few of your Grampians views today, This was a good one as well.
And a nice hide.
The last time we were up here we were watching a koala with our boys when they were much younger than they are now. How time flies!!

A beautiful Grampians morning , the two younger members of our group chose to walk to the Pinnacle, for a true Grampians experience, while we put a few more smiley tokens on our geo-map.
Interesting to have a bird's eye view of where we stayed!
Thanks to Duntulum for placing caches in such interesting locations..

Great hide! We came down to look for it the night before but after coming up empty we decided to give it a break and come back the next day. Glad we did! TFTC
Our last full day in the Grampians so I headed out this afternoon to look for a few caches that were close to the accommodation. I enjoyed the little scramble across the rocks towards this one and was rewarded with some lovely views. At one point I thought my elevation might be off but the cache was there - just didn't look hard enough at first. A nice spot for a cache. TFTC Duntulum
Find No. 3615. Found at 2.25pm.
A trip to Halls Gap so we could ride our bicycles up Mount William to the car park. A total of 10ks all up some very steep hills. FUF009 came with us for support along with Geodog Penny.
After our ride up Mount William and back down we then rode back to Bellfield. We had a picnic lunch nearby in a nice quiet spot opposite the caravan park. With plenty of time to spare we then thought we would find a few close by caches that we haven't got.
Heading out the road home with four more to get along the way. We had just driven past one due to the road being busy so kept on going to this one. After locating this one we then walked back to get the one we missed as we weren't that far away.
TFTC Duntulum.

A trip to Halls Gap to support Tyred n Cranky ride up Mt William and back to Lake Bellfield. After the ride we had lunch then off to find a cache or few.
A great little climb. Only hassle was the fallen tree over the easy way up.
Interesting little view from the top.

One of the most difficult access climbs we have experienced. Not bad for 2 octoganarians. TFTHide.
Traveling between Ballarat and Halls Gap today. Checked into the caravan park at Halls Gap then unloaded the deadly treadly for caches around Halls Gap.
A lovely day for drive and ride.
The GPSr said 51 meters at the path, but it felt a bit further by the time I got to GZ.
It was a nice view. Looking around at GZ I was glad I came up that way.
Thanks for the trailhead.
Thanks, Robmc.

Got up, but looking around we were a bit stumped. Finding it to be a lot different geocaching more in the country compared to in a city!
Found by The Empire + H with the fam crew!
Out and about with the fam on a sunny holiday afternoon wander along the trail. We were looking for Koalas and Echidnas but only found Kangaroos and plenty of them! A quick find here after doing a little mountain goating! Thanks for the cache Duntulum.

Quick easy find on our weekend exploring the Grampians, well worth the short climb up the rocks for this one, great view tftc
A lovely couple of days geocaching in Halls Gap with Bogonghazy. Beautiful weather. Quick find. Thanks for placing the geocache
Down in Halls Gap for a couple of days with LittleBoss2, We did a heap of walks today, bush-bashed a few and come home covered in scratches and bites. But, there's nowhere we'd rather be on a day like this. Our thanks to Duntulum once again, found the easy way to this one and spotted it straight away
Yes the cache lived up to its name. What a great view and I could see the Clematis falls from there. TFTC
2 of us searching for 20 mins, with different brand devices but leading to the same GZ, could not find the cache and nothing at head high to search in either. Maybe it was the weather, a sat view of the area didn't help either.
Back again for another look after dinner. This time found almost straight away. May have had some CO intervention since the search this morning as the logbook was nice and new! If nothing else it was fun to explore the rock along with all the kids from the caravan Park! Thx Duntulum for the hide and maintenance, much appreciated.
Top spot top unexpected view! Just what we like about geocaching - discovering local nooks off the main drag. Lucky us to be free enough to travel far from the NE after what seems donkeys years. After a day hiking, zoomed out on the bike to pick up a few caches this evening. How we love the Gramps! TFTC and the FUN
Slightly sketchy for the kids to reach that close to the edge - made this mum a little nervous
Nice little look out. Too bad the weather is terrible because you could only see 5 meters Infront of you. TFTC
Another short stopover and walk on our way home from Halls Gap, after a fantastic day trip in the glorious winter sunshine. Lots of cars and campers coming in as we were heading out. Enjoyed the rock hopping to this location and searched for about 5 minutes before Chook sat down and just happened to spot the cache. TFTC Duntulum and for bringing us to yet another lovely location and view.
Took a while to find this one even though it was in the first place we looked. Last one before heading back to camp. TFTC!

Scrambled up, down and around but it still eluded me. After about 15 minutes gave it away and moved on to new pastures. Next time perhaps
Something special about this cache, my last remaining hide the the Grampians (for now!). That has involved years and years of climbing peaks, bashing along overgrown creeks, gripping onto sandstone and long long hikes. Finished today with a nice easy cache with a great view. Phew. Looks like next time I come its time to get placing some more. Thanks for the great views here!
Quick find with Kellmik while in the area on an Easter caching trip. Top little scramble to reach some lovely views

Today we returned and had another climb to this wonderful spot. We looked where the cache notes suggested we would find the cache but there was nothing there. Then as I was moving to a different spot I spotted the cache container. SL TFTC
Found after a bit of a climb
there is a traceable inside but it has not been activated by whoever has placed it . so it’s still inside just not traceable

There is a holly traceable in this one! Very exciting but left for the next person to find and move on
Every week when my email drops I get sadden when it tells me “no results found”.
This week was a little different.
I knew the rocky spot, and as we were heading into Halls Gap for the weekend we thought we would give it a crack.
A lovely location and a lovely tree. Perfect for a first to find.
