Nice and easy find. Squeezed name onto the full log. Sorry, didn't have any paper to leave a replacement.TYFTC
Cool spot, really easy we left something in there nice remote place. NO muggles.
There was water everywhere except on the log paper. Next time the CO is in town, you might bring a drill to make a drain. TFTC.
Out with matagouri and rattll today this was a quick find after searching the right place first. Thanks for the placement and the smiley
Easter at Turangi with rattll and Watcache. After a couple of cooler days, the clear warm weather today is most welcome. Parked nearby, then a short walk to GZ for an easy find. All well in the container. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Quick find. Cache was swamped, and covered in local protector creepies, so we cleaned and dried both containers, gave the little one a new geosticker and signed the log which has plenty of room. TFTC
Day three of my Easter weekend in Turangi with matagouri and the watcache's. We've left the bikes behind today and are focusing on some drive by caches and some adventures on foot. This was a quick grab despite it being found in a different place from what was indicated in the write up. We returned it to it's proper spot. Thanks for setting this up
A very busy little airport. I had great fun watching the micro lights and small planes landing.. TFTC
Heading north with tmann421 for a few days. This was day two with plenty of miles for us to cover.Enjoyed the hide here Signed log tm/ww NZTFTC

Having a couple days holiday in Trangi. After cold icy showers yesterday we are back to beautiful sunshine today. We have brought the bikes and enjoying a ride along the river and around the town. Thanks to all the CO s for the caches TFTC
A big thankyou to supernannny who was able to do some maintenance on this cache when she was visiting Turangi recently The container emptied of water, and is waiting to be found.
Easily found with specific hint .Replaced paper here....Interesting place....I can see why you chose this road!!!!
Last cache find in Turangi after a fun week here of mountain biking bush walking and geocaching. Unfortunately I hadnt checked the logs here before I collected it or I would have brought some paper with me - the log is very wet but I was able to write on it. TFTC

Nice call walk. Hopefully before any rain. Nice breeze only people practicing with a paragliding shoot today. TFTC
Found by Blenheim Bear on a wee morning stroll, cache safe and sound. Thanks for the cache all good today. Blenheim Bear
As you said, parking was not a problem. Did some plane spotting but the only thing we saw was the cache! TFTC

Unfortunately, due to rain, all flights were canceled and the staff and crew had gone home, so GZ was clear for us to locate the cache without muggle eyes on us. TFTC

A plan was made with Gorby and tramyard to travel down from Auckland to Turangi for a celebration event at Stump Bay on the 27th before heading up to camp at Huntly and attending the celebration event on the 28th. In total, we traveled 740km over the two days.
We had arrived early in Turangi and had some time before the event for me to grab a few caches on the way to the event. Nice and quiet here as I made a quick find, while the others stayed in the air-conditioned car.

Pretty small airport! It's easy to get these while on bicycle because you don't look so suspect . Outer container was floating, the tyre needs a hole punched in its base.
After being thwarted at the previous cache by a bunch of anglers in the river and spectators and a dog about 3m from GZ I thought about driving down to the end of the road. I stopped here to have a think about whether or not I wanted to go down the gravel road and to wait for a pedestrian to move and another vehicle to come past. Checked my phone and noticed I was sat by the cache so walked across and collected it. I don't know about it flying overseas but it did look like it might sail away instead.
Set out to get a cache further down the road, but the big red caching mobile was not a fan of the pot holes. Grabbed this one quickly on the way back..cache is swimming in its home..

Practicing my driving on a cold Turangi morning whilst out finding a few caches
All flights cancelled today due to bad weather. Luck for me it made an easy but cold find. Bottle is floating in water but dry inside. Unable to open second container to release log book due to cold and wet . Photo taken of evidence being at cache.
In Turangi area for two nights, quick drive up this road for three caches before I find somewhere to put up my tent. Thanks rustynz for the cache.
A nice easy find to get the numbers up! Trackable retrieved and on the move. TFTC
Nice easy find here with good coordinates and hint. Added a Suomi island skinny TB here.
I have got a busy few days coming up, and am heading north to the Coromandel peninsula for the weekend with a work holiday home booked for this upcoming long weekend, including stat day on Monday. Then I'm heading home with mrs c for a couple of days leave followed by a couple of days WFH before heading back to Manawatu and my new job at the weekend. Not massive numbers of cache finds but a few to keep things ticking over and a surprising amount by Auckland based COs too! Thanks to all cache owners for their contributions.

Find number 7778. My daughter is doing the Te Araroa trail And I have been a support person for a few days as she paddled the Whanganui [I was the other in the canoe] and cycled from Pipiriki to Whanganui. A 7pm crossing of the river at Koitiata where I met her and we camped for the night. An early start as she set off to walk to Bulls and I cached my way back to Hamilton. Doing just specific caches.
Arrived as a flight was taxing to take off. Waved them off and then grabbed the cache. Thank you for the placement.

Staying in Turangi for the night on our way south. Parked by the bridge and got in my bike to collect 4 cache along this”trail”. that followed the river. Got pretty stoney and narrow at times but managed to bike most of it. Came back on the road for this one. The cache was floating around but the log was all fine and dry. Thanks for the smiley. Enjoyed the painted dog just up the road. You tend to see so much more when cycling around. Thanks for the smiley.
We were staying in Turangi for the long weekend to find a few caches and complete the local Ad Labs. We must have missed our flight as there were no planes in sight! Cache all good. TFTC.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. It was a great weather most of today, well not wet and not windy! We were based around Turangi and mixed up the day with a bit af walking, biking and driving.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

#9703. I am making my way south to Wellington after attending conferences and meetings in Thames and Hamilton. To break up the journal my two muggles friends and I decided to stop at Turangi for refreshments. But first I asked if we could pick up a couple of geocaches and they agreed. So diverted down the side road so I could tick off another International Airport from my list of important airports visited around the world. The commercial airliner traffic seems to have been badly hit at this location by COVID19 so it was a modest fleet present today. The cache itself was a nice quick find thanks to the hint. Signed the log and replaced where found. Thanks rustynz for the cache.
Another quick find while out geocaching on our bikes. Next stop is at the end of the road. TFTC
Beautiful location on beautiful road
Nice quick find on my way back home from summer holidays.
My flight was on time!

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On an unplanned voyage of discovery. We came to have a nosy at a nearby watery cache and took some notes...
The two Adventure Labs emerged as our next targets. We progressed through these slowly because mobile coverage was patchy along the upper reaches of the Tongariro River. It was somewhere along the route that we made the decision to visit other caches on our lists... Turangi is full of surprises - It's true, we'd never know about some of these out-of the-way locations were it not for geocaching. The host was waterlogged after rain, so the hide was floating. No problems really - Thanks rustynz and TFTC.

A mad dash after midnight and a quick find with FMZ and Gorby, our first cache find for 2021 and a joint FTF.
TFTC.

We weren't flying out, not this time of the night/morning, and actually not at all, driving instead, but still a great way to start the new year - may it be a bit better than the dumpster fire that was 2020. Joint [FTF] TFTC!!!
Ahh published today, that's why I was a little confused at why I hadn't seen it on my run down river the other day! I was aiming to get the cache further along when I saw this and went hang on....
Found by Miniswiss once she could count properly haha
