Archiving this cache due to GZ being reported as a police watch area and missing container as well. ?? ????
Can the CO please call me urgently regarding this cache as I am a bit concerned about it. I sent a PM.
Returned on 9/12/21to show my partner this cache and unfortunately discovered it was missing.
Once again a late log. Two more to go I think!
Thank you so much for this fun cache.

Tftc!!! What an awesome cache!! I’ve seen this sort of cache before but never thought we’d ever find one haha
Out on the push bike to get some exercise and also find a few caches. The weather was perfect for hunting for a more finds.
All the caches were in good condition and generally were easy enough to find.
Grabbe the likely hide thinking "this better be it". And it was.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Enjoying a nice walk with AlexiKatty and decided to add this smile to my map

Found that this cache placement was rather tricky, gps had us everywhere but the correct spot. Eventually my caching friend spotted the rather unusual cache. So, so pleased. Thanks to Georoamaround for placing.
Out for a walk with a buddy and a cache along the way, we stopped here and began our search. My GPS had me along the fence line but the cache description indicated elsewhere. Once there, the cache was spotted IPS which could not be unseen once spotted. Reached up and grabbed the cache, thanks Georoamaround.
#We came back to this today upon realising that when we originally thought we'd found it, we actually hadn't! This was months ago when we were really green with Geocaching and had little idea that a QR sticker isn't a cache.
All legitimate now though.
All legitimate now though.
Continuing our detour, we thought this one might be a bit trickier due to the location and the impending dark that was rapidly arriving. A very clever one, luckily we had come across this style before or I think it could have easily remained unfound. Thanks for a great cache!
Signed the log yesterday but had very little battery left on my phone and then no internet service at home so posting this now everything is up and going again.

I found it It took longer than we thought Smallest member of group mentioned something interesting and cache was next to it
We will replace the magnet as soon as possible but for now - doesn’t seem to be causing any problems
Found this cache at 4:15 today. Were unable to remove the log in order to sign it. It is jammed fast and appears to have a broken piece of metal in the centre. The glue holding the magnet in is no longer working either. But thanks for the hide!
Found...that was great. Fantastic container. So clever. I saw it straight away and if we werent caching would not have gone near it. TFTC
Hi Georoamaround,
Just a note to let you know this cache needs some first aid.
"Were unable to remove the log in order to sign it. It is jammed fast and appears to have a broken piece of metal in the centre. The glue holding the magnet in is no longer working either."
No one else has mentioned it I see but the log is well stuck in position.

Out for a walk with a tired shumba7 who was trying to break back out of night shift.

TFTC. This one nearly had me going for a while, cords were jumping a bit. But soon had the sneaky bugger in my paws and signed... didn’t know this track existed, will have to ride it to get the others in the series.
Found today with the geo dog as we went for a walk and nabbed a few caches. Lovely trail along here. A previous log helped me think of the hide in a different way and sure enough it soon showed itself! Thanks for the cache.
Another cache run after work today, and this was on my list. Had to wait for a passerby (made it look like I was taking photos of the graffiti) As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the cache, as I have one of these. Cigc. Tftc
This took way too long even though I had it in my head just what it would be. I used PAF to help sort out where to look when I looked up and spotted it....
It really depends on where you stand for success here.
Thanks georoamaround

Another beautiful day for geocaching again with the ever helpful Bushfire. An early start saw us slowly make our way towards Ballarat, slowly past endless roadworks but not much work in evidence. Our optimistic list today was headed by the remaining Geotour caches plus several others to fill the day. We achieved the completion of the Geotour and a satisfying number of others that we had targeted Not sure how we missed this last time but there it was and quickly found this time TFTC georoamaround
Another trip up the very slow highway to Ballarat with my good caching friend au.fait with todays aim to complete the BGT caches as we have done 15 over the last two trips so were hoping to grab the last ten.
We had a variety of hides on our list today including the ten BGT so this included some bush 4x4 Trads as well as multi’s, mysteries, a wherigo and a letterbox.
Great day’s caching so now the boring part of logging but has to be done.
Second try at this spot, don't know it was missed on the last visit but we were along the high fence last time.
Thanks for placing this cache.

So after being up this way 2 weeks ago for the grand opening / launch of the brand spanking new Ballarat Geo Tour and managing to get FTF’s on all 4 of the ones I did, I noticed a few events on this weekend up this way and so being a long weekend I booked myself into a motel for 3 nights to hopefully finish it off and to attend the events on up here.
Left Melbourne after work and headed up the Western Fwy boy that Fwy can get busy and be very slow.
Turned off just after Ballan and took the back roads in instead.
It was very chilly this morning but when the sun made an appearance it turned out to be a glorious day.
So after a busy Saturday morning with lots of walking involved finding a lot of the tour and a few others I then decided to finish off the afternoon by trying to complete this series that I noticed on my map.
After making my way to near GZ and trying to workout how to get down to it I then realised oh those stairs lead you down there.
Looked in quiet a few spots then stood back and looked at the right angle and soon spotted the sneaky cache.
Added my name to the log and that’s it for the day so back to the motel for a well earned beer.
Thanks georoamaround TFTC.

This is when I questioned my decision to wear thongs today. Had never been down in here before, found the tunnel freshly painted white too.
Found the cache and grateful it wasn't real. There's 7 spots left to sign on the log.

In town for the Ballarat GeoTour Launch Event, we grabbed this cool little series before lunch. Classic, favourite point added. Thanks for the cache, and the series georoamaround!

Already in Ballarat for the geo tour launch event, so spent my time before the event collecting some solved puzzles and riding the deadly treadly around town doing a few odd caches on the way.
After the event I was joined by half of Chook'n'Chunk and we continued collecting, but some Geo Tour caches entered the mix.
After dinner we joined with Wassel68, Mica, and GoodLook for a few at night, taking in the sights and sounds of Ballarat after dark.
I haven't seen one of these caches for a while. Always make me cringe a bit.
Great little line to ride along.
Thanks, Robmc.

Spent absolutely ages here looking without joy.
Needed to PAF.
Our GPSrs kept pointing us about 10 m away.
We were also fooled by the attributes. We dismissed something that high as not really child friendly.
We were also looking for something handcrafted as this micro was listed as unique. We have seen this commercially available type cache before.

Well this one had me going for a while. Could almost host a cito around here.
Thanks for another in the series.

9 February 2021,loved this cache! Simple but a lot of thought, found fairly quickly...thanks for bringing me to this place, looks like it would be a lovely walk
Found this one today while enjoying a drive in the area.
Last time we were here we spent 90% of our time examining where the GPS wanted us to go and a little bit where actual Gz was.
We looked where we found the cache too but it must have been hidden a lot better as we saw the hide walking up to GZ today!
Thanks for the hide and caches on the trail.

Find #2458 for me. Found at 4:18 pm while visiting the area from Bendigo. After spending some time with Mum this afternoon I had time for just a few caches before heading back home. At first I approached from above but then read the cache description and approached from below. Once at GZ my GPS liked the coordinates leading to a quick find. I'd seen one or two like this before (which certainly helped!) but the camo was very suited to the environment here as others have noted. Thanks for the fun and the cache Georoamaround! I'll look forward to finding the others in your new series on another day!
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch and MazzyMay. After a DNF in the dark last night we returned in daylight to look again. Arrived at GZ to be met by Hans (of HansandLinda). Cache was found quickly and signed, then we got to chatting. Had a good long catchup with Hans, then decided we had better get moving as we had a long drive to get home today. TFTC
Found with PapaGrouch and ScifiRulz, Met up with Hans who was already looking. PG made the find quite quickly but the chat took so much longer. A most enjoyable trip this morning after a DNF last night. TFTC
This was a very unique cache. Never seen one like this before. Even with a previous DNF I thought I'd give it a shot. Found it straight away. Previous logs did help me in my search location though, which helped. Cool to be walking on a track that used to be a railway line. Loved the tunnel and walking track in a valley. TFTC georoamaround. This gets a favourite point for not only the unique cache, but the location as well. Loved it!
TFTC. I found myself on a solo caching run today. I was in the area and decided to do this series. The weather was warming up so i tackled #2 first and then walked the trail through to #6. Left #1 to last as that was a drive to GZ . All caches were found reasonably quickly.
As I arrived at GZ i spotted MazzyMay, PapaGrouch and SciFiRulz. PapaGrouch made the find and then we had a chat. Nice to catch up with others on the trail.

We looked and looked but we couldn't spot anything in the dark. We will have to return sometime in daylight and see if we have more luck.
Enjoying a spot of caching this afternoon with wozzle68 and The Tritonz, this was one of the caches we found. We spent a bit of time poking around in the wrong area at first, but eventually Mr Triton spotted this neat little cache a few metres from where our GPS's were telling us. Also, IMHO, it would be a T2, rather than T1.5. However, thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment Georoamaround.
We found it but nowhere near where the coordinates suggested we should look and the terrain is a bit low.
