We found this white container. The logbook could use a Ziploc bag to keep it dry. We added a pencil and a couple trinkets to trade.
Nice and quick find at posted coordinates. The plan was to get Bruce's Knob (Auckland) too but the tide was in and there was no access from here. Anyway, thanks for a placement.
All good here.

No luck today. We’re pretty sure we narrowed down the location but very overgrown. We love quite local so will reset and try again a different day.
Having grabbed the southern caches, I was getting a bit weary after 14km walking on the sand. But i was spurred on to grab these 2 more northern ones. Spoiler pic looks quite different now to what is at GZ now. Lots of tall grass & hint items that have grown.
Checked a few spots before thankfully coming up trumps. Nice views from GZ. TFTC

Find number 7434. Up to visit my daughter and these beach caches were my main caching objective. Need the exercise so walked [no license required to do that]. A total of approx 15km. Time did not matter as I enjoyed the freedom of the beach. After doing the southerly cache it was time to head north. I passed a group of school children from Waipipi doing a beach clean up. They were turning around with their bags full enough well short of this cache. For a flax cache this was a quick find. Sign and on my way to the next. Thank you for the placement.
Last time I was at the beach, I went south for a find but didn't have enough time to come this way. Being out of LD today, I came out for a nice walk along the beach. Low tide made the walk much easier. TFTC.
We walked down the beach, which would have been much more pleasant if there were fewer motorcycles! Great spot though. TFTC!
Saw these new caches on Kariotahi Beach pop up, but timing wasn't good for a run down. Gorby was keen, but I had work commitments to deal with. Managed to fiddle some things around, and a plan was formed to head down early this morning for a low tide drive along the beach. The CO came long for the ride, and also harisree and boneybruce, who always loves an outing where he can get some cool photos for his instagram. Judging from the lack of tire marks, we were first onto the beach, and on our way up to this cache and back, we only saw a lone dog walker. Great fun! TFTC!!! +FP and joint [FTF]
FITW FMZ & Gorby
Was busy lately with work and other stuffs.. But couldn't resist the invitation from FMZ for a nice morning drive and a beach view... Started really early from home, joined FMZ, Gorby and CO. A nice way to start the day with [FTF].. TFTC

I had seen this cache pop out on my watchlist, then another, then another. Wow… look at this! 3 new caches by Rebel98. I haven’t done one of his caches for 2 years. Nice! But my first thought then was plotting them and seeing where exactly they are.
So I see a 4WD would be handy, so text FMZ to see what he thought of it all, he’s on call, can’t make it. So I assumed that he couldn’t make it the whole weekend, so I started to make plans to head out here today on my own and I would walk to 2 of them not the cache furtherest south – too far. But just last night he messages me to say, he can do today after-all. Choice! So I suggested bringing the C.O along, he was certainly keen to come back and also Harisree was coming too.
So I picked up Rebel at 5am, shot over to FMZ’s place, harisree was already there, we all hopped into FMZ’s 4WD and got to this beach at 6:11am. Drove straight to this cache first. What a gorgeous morning! After taking some nice fotos we went to the cache, nice to see a blank log and signed in. A joint {FTF} for myself, harisree and FMZ our driver. Thanks Rebel for the cache.
