Told Miss Divysaurus about this and she said that she will now get her boulders checked. Thanks for the awesome breast cancer awareness community and all you gals and TFTC too!
Wow thats a lot of bras! I didnt contribute a bra to the fence (there must be thousands there already). The cache itself was a quick find in a location that matched the hint perfectly. Visited with rumpuslabs, tftc!
I sent a photo of the fence to a friend, she said "that's one expensive artwork." Found with bektheraccoon, TFTC!
My wife and I are in town from Cleveland, Ohio for our vacation "Trip of a Lifetime" for the next 3 weeks and of course we are going to be doing some geocaching while we're here.We have seen some of the most gorgeous scenery in our lives since we've been here! Christchurch, Hokitika, Punakiki, Twizel, Mt Cook.....just to name a few.But THIS! This we did not expect.New Zealanders are definitely a special kind of people! My wife found the cache while I counted the bras.I stopped counting at one thousand and thirty-four because 34 is my favorite number.Unlike the previous posts, we had no issue with a wet log. Not sure what they were trying to sign but everything was nice and dry inside the container.TFTC!
On a road trip together with -moge-; across New Zealand; from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island; up, down, right, left ... So much to see, so much to experience. So many great, and sometimes old, caches! But I can hardly keep up with the logging. Far too exhausted from all the experiences. I am sorry that it will now be a standardized log for some founds.Just kidding! ?? Very nice to meet you! We had quite fun with your caches. You already know, I guess. If you ever come to germany, let us know.
Hello Tuitigger,Another day, another Cache.Together with Dr Donna travelling through New Zealand. We arrived at Auckland Airport and made our way up north. After visiting Cape Reinga we went on our way South to reach Stewart Island with stops in many different Citys all over the country. Of course we have an open eye for nice Caches but take what we can get. Today we came across your Cache "Shoulder Boulder Holder" and signed the logbook with our names or took pictures for Virtuals and Earthcaches. Its great how many nice spots we are able to discover through our journey and how many of them we only See because of Geocaching! Thanks for bringing us to this place and takeing care for the geocache.
TFTC! so many boulder holders! The cache is WET! nothing I can do about it, log paper was unusable.
Found on a sunny day on the way back to the airport. Log to wet to sign so have sent a picture to the CO .
A great spot and interesting fence adornment s - TFTC PS log book is wet and nearly finished so will need replacement
A plan was hatched quite a while ago when the Dunedin Mega was announced to come over to the South Island again.I have only been to New Zealand twice before and I loved the South Island. So a chance to come back for a Mega was a no brainer for me.Everything was booked and I flew in last Saturday week after a bit of a delay. So after a great couple of days in Invercargill its time to say goodbye.Hopefully the weather improves as Im missing the sunshine that I had earlier on on this trip.So Day 13 of my Mega NZ starts and Im heading off to Wanaka to check out that town. After crossing over the mountains I making my way down the road.I have come across a few of these fences in my travels and it is a great way of showing support to a great cause. Thanks Tuitiger TFTC.
Uh, thats a weird attraction. Could these be considered swaps in the geocache? Found the cache, but its a mess. Dripping and moldy log. Blotted it off and signed, but kinda yucky. TFTC
Quick easy find at a great spot supporting breast cancer. Cache itself it a bit wet and aoggy. TFTC ??
Continuing on our way, we stopped here to shop for a new bra just kidding ?? Kubabelle and I stoped here at what has become an iconic tourist spot to grab this cache. I must say I had assumed the cache would be hidden elsewhere and the hunt supported my initial guess. A giggle was had when I found the actual hide not where I had assumed. As many have mentioned before me, the log is sodden, mouldy and really needs some attention. It would be great to have some maintenance done to ensure the longevity of a cache at this location. We managed to add our names to the logbook and have hidden it as well as we could where found. Thanks for the cache ??
Armed with jandals and a chilly bin, a couple of Aussies headed across the ditch for a 3-week tiki tour, exploring the beauty of New Zealand.DAY 9: Heading back inland - Haast to Queenstown.I brought one old bra with me from Australia to place here. My guess? I reckon around 1233 before mine, and now there are 1234.Unfortunately, the logbook is quite damp and unsignable and needs a replacement. Thanks for showing us this special place by placing this cache, Tuitigger ?? tena koe~??????????~
Day 2 of our NZ mega mega holiday with The_Tritonz and our first full day of touring and caching. We started out in Cromwell and explored the loop up to Wanaka, then down through the Cardrona Valley to Arrowtown, then back to Cromwell, where we are staying with chook's sister. Stunning and very different scenery for us aussies from the plains and forests of western Victoria. A bra fence is a great way to put the breast cancer care and research into the spotlight in such an out of the way location. The cache was found quickly enough in between other tourists, but the logbook is quite wet and nearly full, so needs some attention. TFTC tuitigger.
Our first full day of caching in NZ with great mates, chooknchunk, we set off to explore this stunning location with mountain vistas all around us.Continuing our road trip down to Cardrona it was a must for the boys to stop here and check out the bra fence. We have seen many in our time but this was definitely the most impressive. The cache was sought after once the obligatory photos were taken we signed the logbook. Thanks Tuitigger for the placement.
Day #7 Wanaka to Te Anau - The Mega New Zealand ExperienceA chance for an overseas Mega was too good to pass up. Especially with half the state seeming to be attending also. I set about some last minute planning.? Flights still available? Accommodation found? Mode of transport securedLooks like its time to cross the ditch. Ive never visited the South Island before so it is bound to be a fun filled trip. The schedule has been a bit up in the air but Im glad I kept driving last night to stay in Wanaka which is a lovely town. Last minute changes this morning due to the pending rain and closure of the road to Milford Sound. So its a mad and long dash there to catch the boat this afternoon instead of tomorrow. Now thats a very supportive cache! Unfortunately very soggy and mouldy. You should definitely get that checked by a professional.A big thanks goes to Tuitigger for taking the time to add Shoulder Boulder Holder to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).?
Not something we expected to see along a quiet mountain road. It's all for a good cause though. The cache was very soggy inside, it needs a new container and logbook. TFTC!
A quick swerve off the road to find this one with Gazania Rigens.A ggo cause and fun to have a cache here to promote it.The cache needs replacing as it is broken and sodden inside.TFTC
Very wet in the container - thanks for this cache - viva no breast cancer - trip to NZ from South Africa with keydey
Ha ha ha haWhat a surprise!!!!!!TFTCPity I dont have a spare, but if I did Id make sure it was red
#4001 Today is day 19 of my geocaching vacation in New Zealand. I'm driving from Wanaka to Te Anau today and finding geocaches along the way. I took a huge detour for [Cardrona Hotel](https://coord.info/GC4NWD2) and this one. It was well worth it. What an interesting place.Found it! There was water in the cache, and all the logs were soaked. Good thing it was a RITR notebook. I was able to add my name on it, but it needed some maintenance. Tuitigger, thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan on October 19, 2024 @ 14:24:27[GC95KBF] Shoulder Boulder Holder was a D1.5/T1.5 Regular Traditional Cache at the time of finding.
It was a bit wet on the inside but I found a place to scribble my name. Why? I AM GUR
We have been skiing and snowboarding at Cardrona Skifield. This is our first time on the South Island in winter. We had a blast and after a day on the mountain, we did a stop by the Bra fence to have a look. When I found out it was also home to a geocache, I had to find it.Luckily, it was an easy find. For people visiting this cache during the winter season, just a note, around the opening and closing of the skifield it might be busy with cars (mainly on the road) and potential muggles stopping here.Thank you for the cache! It is a random fun spot to visit.
Auf unserer 3 wchigen Tour durch NZ, auf der Sdinsel gelandet. Hier auf dem Weg nach Queenstown vorbeigekommen und die Bras bewundert.
Lovely day on the slopes today. Felt a light sprinkle of snow dust as we finished up for the day. Thanks for the cache!
Quick stop off after a day in wanaka. A great fence with a powerful message. Easy find as wasn't hidden, rehid well. Tftc
On a family trip... This was a quick find.. Cache was a bit exposed when we found it, hid it under more rocks...The trackables seems to be missing though.TFTC
Great cache site to raise awareness for breat cancer, please leave a donation if you can! Trackable dropped off and bra added
Haven't visited this particular landmark before, and Bapgirl is not sure we want to again The cache was quickly located and subtly signed, without alerting the nearby muggles to its presence. TFTC!
We briefly stopped here on a chilly morning and made a quick find. Worthy idea here. Tftc
Cant give an estimate as to how many bras. Our favorite crab place (Boondocks in Smyrna, Delaware) has started a new collection of bras in the ladies roomTFTC
Found together with Heureka10.Thanks for the cache.Greetings from Czech Republic.
Found together with Kendar05. Thank you for the cache. Greetings from Czech Republic.
Fabulous- one of the reasons I love caching. We also acknowledge the traditional custodians of New Zealand / Aoteroa, as we geocache throughout their land while on holiday. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground
Found today while making our way to the famous Cardrona Hotel. Luckily when we arrived there was no-one around as the cache container could no longer contain anything as it was totally smashed. Fortunately, I had a Sistema which we were using to keep sugar in, so the sugar got ditched and the container washed out. We then managed to squeeze the cache contents into it. Log signed, cache hidden, cars arrived. Perfect timing. Thanks for this interesting cache.
Day 7 of our roadtrip around the south island with Blue Jay. Today we drove from Wanaka to Te Anau and again some very spectacular scenery, as well as a few caches. This was an unexpected sight as we nearly drove past it...Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining. TFTC. Toffee Man.
Found on our way to Wanaka. container lod is smashed.Sorry I had nothing ti replace it with. TFTC and laugh at the fence.
I thought I'd seen it all , and probably wouldn't have stopped if it wasn't for this cache. so thank you after a short search I found it 2nd place I looked ..thanks again.hello from CBR

Second day of our road trip. Got packed up early before doing a couple more caches in Queenstown before heading to Wanaka via Coronet Peak and Arrowtown.Thank you to all COs for placing for our enjoymentWe left a bra and made a donation in memory of my Mom who passed from breast cancer
I had heard of this place but didnt really know where it was. Once spotted I had to stop. I also had to see if that was a geocache.
Summer Holiday 2024Day #7Time for AlpiSteve and I to head to Queenstown.Compulsory stop here to view the bolder holders and a quick find between the passing traffic ?? TFTC???Make your way to Dunedin for New Zealands next large multi-day event. GCA7ZHD Geo Toroa will be held on NZs Labour Day long weekend 26-27th October 2024???
**Log about this cache:**I put my donation in the box. There are a lot of them here!**General log:**After years of planning and the canceling of trip due to the corona crisis, the time had finally come:***"more than 5 weeks in New Zealand".***And how beautiful it was!Visited both the north and south islands, many tourist attractions have a cache nearby so I could do some as well.Lots of virtuals and earth caches too and traditionals. But also done a few multi caches here and there also even a mystery and wherigo cache. The trip to New Zealand was great and we saw a lot of nice places. The country has so many different types of landscapes. And the nice thing was that it is winter in the Netherlands but summer in New Zealand Too bad it takes so long to fly and that the flight is so expensive otherwise i can go here next year again. Now you can enjoy it, logging the caches is also part of it. I will try to email the answers for the earthcaches and virtual caches to the relevant co`s as soon as possible. But first log all caches and upload the photos .Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching
Today we continued our roadtrip and from Te Anau and our first target was Bluff. The day ended in Haast. We read about this location in our travekl guide and as we were crossing this area we stopped here to discover the stor ybehind the spot. Then we saw that there was a cache nearby so we serached and found it.Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.Happy hunting!TFTCschnuckel1[#24044]
