A nice quick find, saw some horses nearby being trained which was cool to see. TFTC
In the area mainly to complete the Anna Tommy series. But Im happy to find any cache along the way. Rented a bike at the Gawler Visitor Info Centre. Did 36 km total. And always into the wind. No problems here.
Over to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega Event with tmann421.Have done a few km collecting caches and have enjoyed the tour aroundThanks to all the cache owners for their efforts in placing and maintaining these for us to findSigned log *tm/ww NZ*
*Nice find with woolwood9 today.* Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit. SL *tm/ww NZ*Soon located.
I am needing some exercise so thought the Patog by bike would be the way to go.Brrrp!! Wrong!I got to 61 where I aborted due to running out of fuel, water (I only carried 2L) and enthusiasm. I mean, really, what kind of twit does a long distance cycle in 35 degress? My kind of twit, apparently.Still, if it wasn't for the weather and the lack of fuel, I did enjoy the ride. Loved the information boards and the walking/cycling quotes along the way.
Found with Pprime` as part of our Mega Leapday adventure.Thankyou for the entertainment here.
Found with T4mmmy on our Leap Mega Adventure. Thanks equipe de cinq for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12231}*
With some free time before the busy festive period, combined with todays good weather, I decided to head out for a day of caching. The plan was to head out to Two Wells, to target a couple of specific caches, before making my way towards Gawler to attempt some of the Anna Tommy series and a few other surrounding caches. As I made my way into Gawler, I could not resist stopping past this cache. It did not take me long to find the cache and, with my name in the log book, I was on my way to my next find.Find #8211, at 04:07 pmTFTC

Grabbing caches for this months souvenir challenge.
Enjoyed a walk. Cache all okay.

I’ve been doing the PATOG series bit by bit for a number of years. Today I was riding up to GAWLER so grabbed a few more along the way. While some caches and logs were in good condition, there were quite a few caches that had disintegrated, were missing lids, had wet logs or were just MIA. I didn’t have any backups to do maintenance but it might be worth a maintenance run for this trail. TFTC.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 44. Mid North section of SA trip Day 15. Gawler Day 3. The weather was quite a bit better then the last few days, and it was time to get out on the bike trails to do some PATOG caches. I managed to go too far for my poor scooter and had to walk the last three km's back to the car. Other than that today's section of trail went pretty well, much better than sections later in the week. After that exercise was over, I went onto some back roads for solved puzzles and other miscellaneous caches I was able to get to before I ran out of energy.
Thanks for the cache equipe de cinq

This was our ninth find for the day on our caching morning with alisonborgas74. It was a lovely day for an amble along the NEXY bike trail. Us mums had a leisurely chat while the geokids did the hunting. The kids knew what they were looking for so another quick find. TFTC
Goldy is back out for a drive around Nuriootpa, Lyndoch and Gawler to get a step closer to 3000 finds before Sunday.
I started the day with the Blair Athol event for breakfast before heading on my way out north.
I also swung by Geostuff for some more goods.
Shoutout to unssy who let me borrow their pole for the day to get some higher terrain caches.
I ended up with 13 caches, 6 adventure lab locations, 1 event attended and 2 D/T spots filled.
A quick find here today.
Thanks equipe de cinq for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 2950 on the 19th of April 2023.
I have hosted quite a few CITO's in my time, making huge differences thanks to the people who came along!
Whether you're out finding caches or just taking a stroll somewhere, remember to always be CITO-ing to help maintain our parks and reserves!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

Day 12, week 2 of 5 weeks holiday.
Rockhampton Queensland to all over South Australia.
14 degrees, feels like 10 (there’s that lovely cutting wind back again)
Apologies, there is going to be a lot of copy/paste today.
I have decided to walk the trail of caches while Buttons goes and does a McClouds Daughters tour nearby.
What better use I could put my time to than wandering down a highway while I wait.
Hope she can find me when she’s done. ??
Time to swap the iPad to the other hand, while I unfreeze this one in my pocket.
Log signed (on the back, the front is full) cache replaced.

Found by brisal5, TeamAstro, thewhitedoggang and Featherwaite, signing the logsheets with the acronym BAWF. Being cool, cloudy, no rain and with light winds, it proved a great day for a ride along the bikeway. Thanks for the cache and series equipe de cinq!
GENERIC LOGS FOR PATOG series! [8)][8)][8)]
Time to attack the PATOG series. [^] So the calls were made to find a group to take on the ride and a group of brisal5, Astro, WhiteDogGang and Featherwaite were available. So the acronym BAWF was formed to sign the logs. We chose Tuesday 8/6/2021 to make the ride but the forecast of a thunderstorm, continuous rain and howling winds caused the newly formed BAWF to balk and we delayed until Friday 11/6/21! [B)][B)] What a great day for a ride, overcast, a nice cool breeze and not a drop of rain to be felt. All caches were found in good condition except, one that needed a new cap (done) and one that needed replacing. (also done) Great day had but I felt like BAWFing by the end! [:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks equipe de cinq for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Aha, a slightly different hide from the last couple but very easy to spot when it was exposed at GZ. A short walk from where I parked, I pulled the cache from its hidey hole and extracted the log for business.
With my name on the list, I tucked it back, ensured it was adequately covered and sprinkled some light camo around for extra protection.

Cheers equipe de cinq.

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!

Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, and lightning,
but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]

2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting
