GCLOGAN TripWe are staying at nearby lake Keepit and decided to hit these trails today. First cache for the day. I am travelling with GrimRaider to GCLogan and then to western NSW on our first trip with the van. Thanks for hiding this cache ALFIE77JC1
While staying in Tamworth for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We just had to get out and find a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Reperio 13:24Day 1 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I left Orange and headed towards Tamworth for a few days to visit friends and tackle the large number of caches that have been placed since we were last here some five years ago. Our goal for today was to work through the Somerton Safari series and then on to the Sticks and Stones series. Had great fun finding this one.Gratias ALFIE77JC1As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Find # 10802Looking at my stats I have a personal goal to meet before year end and its not an altogether small one. BUT when Im on a mission anything could happen. Christmas holidays and Im making the epic road trip from Canberra to Brisbane. Did a bit of research for some power trail options along the way and found a couple that would help boost my tally. This was one of them. Slight detour, but so long as I achieve my goal its all worth it Now just fingers crossed there arent too many DNFs or that put me off. Overnight planned in Tamworth which is about halfway and should be where I need to be by Christmas Eve.Day 2 - Quick easy find at Somerton Safari #2 Dino Dancing here today so I can be on my way. Thanks so much for the many caches ALFIE77JC1 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
No luck today….. we had a good look, but there are plenty of caches in front of us today… This does seem to get a high DNF % for a D1.5....

An opportunity to complete my task for the current Wheel of Challenges for today.
It is always nice to be the first to sign a new log!

This is one of the caches we targeted and found thankyou for giving us the opportunity to explore. We are now heading home to Queensland after attending the Wangaratta event . We sidetracked a bit to do this series. Staying out the back of the Somerton hotel $15 for power to stay with the caravan. Very convenient location. Fav for unique hide.
Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure travelling to Wangaratta event in Vic. We found your cache today, 2 January 2022 11:22 am , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC ALFIE77JC1
The sunny weather is holding so it was out past Somerton for another caching run

Thanks ALFIE77JC1.

The first of many caches with the tree hint today, just a pity that I had to dnf so many with that hint along the Safari trail. Thanks anyway.
F.T.F. Thanks Alfie. A bit of a challenge for an 80+ lone cacher. But I made it.
Decided on a country drive today with ilook4geo as there were some FTF caches with no "found it" logs when we left home. We did actually manage to find some, but the others had been done earlier in the day by a more local cacher. It was a fun run of caches, with different containers and various types of hides. Thanks go to ALFIE77JC1 for this whole series.
Some caches beckoned and we came with goingplaces2. Enjoyed the day and all the fun caches. TFTC.
