Will try and source a suitable replacement as it has definitely disappeared apologies to those who couldn't find it!
Sadly after an extensive hunt we had to call this a dnf. We found a hiding spot to match the hint but no cache. TFTH
Today I had to drop my daughter off at the airport, so I decided to head over to the Dodges Ferry area as I had not been there before. It is a very nice place with lots of nice areas to go.Only having half a day, I started on Old Forcett Road & headed south to do as many caches as I could. I ended up visiting all the caches down to the point minus the Mystery Cache. Eight in total. Some I could not find or need to return. My trip was as follows:GC905QH Princess Royal I do need to return to this one (might be a while though). I now have the coordinates, so it was a visit for me today. I really enjoyed the read.*GC95WJ1 Lewisham Foreshore I nice short walk along the foreshore with a phone call home found a nice find. Thankyou*GC8QFN2 Beachcombing Okines Bay I lot of erosion, must be some high tides. I just could not find this one. Even with going back over the logs. Very disappointing. I spent a bit of time here as well. Just not enough time obviously. No find here.GC9Q5VE JETTY GEO Dodges Ferry How fascinating. What a man. I loved walking along this section of the waters edge looking at all the markings in the rocks. What a cache, it took me a while to find and almost missed it but a great cache theme. Thankyou for the great time.GC9PRQF Tiger Head Bay Took a lot of coaxing on my behalf to go under & when I went to go right I noticed a lot of big ants. Arrrrrrr finally took the leap only to look around for a while with no luck. Now that I am logging this I have noticed that it has since been disabled. Never mind, it was an adventure. Nice look out over the water anyway.GCACBYE Water Tank Art Doges Ferry I just love when you have an ugly object and turn it into a great place for artwork. Nice little fine Thankyou very much.GC9PRVF Sparkling View Parnella Reserve This was my favourite for the day. After solving the coordinates I spent a little bit of time taking in the view before heading off to find the cache. Wow the first location had nothing on the second location. After finding the cache and logging my find I took quite some time taking in the views from the point. What a place to just reset and just be. Thankyou for taking me hear, this will place will always be in my mind.GCPW6Q8 Jacks Flat Stopping of to do this one on my way back out heading home I was a bit confused about the location of the sign until I spotted it, after working out the coordinates I headed off to what could only be an interesting place, after a quick find logged my find and headed home.Thankyou to all that placed these caches and gave me an adventure for the day. I will be back in the area for sure.Happy Caching everyone.SpudBindy
Favourite point for the hide, not the path, or the stairs or the rocks. Just the hide. Loved it. TFTC

Found it quickly. One of the best spots I’ve seen in a while! Cache really is indestructible!
Been searching for 20 minutes and still couldn't find, hoping someone else has more luck
Love this spot, I found the previous cache around here quite a few years ago. Took a little bit of searching, lots of potential hiding spots, but I got there in the end. Love the container; great way of recycling it and plus it will probably never break

I'd met up earlier today with AlbyDangles to go find some recent Arm End caches, and then with time still in our favour, headed to where we both still had some to find around Lewisham/Dodges.
We parked closest and walked down the track/stairs, and along to GZ, where my chauffeur made a quick find of a nifty cache.
Lucky to be muggle free here during our visit, but on the way out, met a boatie with his manifold in a wheelbarrow - wonder if he bounced it down the stairs, or whether he abandoned the Barrow and carried it down the last bit?
Found with AlbyDangles on this glorious day out.
Thanks pc6977, for the cache and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

Clever little cache. I have wondered how items like this would go as caches. Now I just need to go across the water to do all the ones the other side
TFTC,
3 off 8 finds today. Mrs H found this one. Great spot.
Teamed up with The Hancock Clan, Scenic Routers and Nana nel for an adventure filled day caching.

Caught up with Scenic Routers, The Hancock Clan and with Wazza9 we took a walk along the water, quick find by MrsH, love the recycle container. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO.
The 3 of us didn't have a real plan until about 10 last night, with Budgie coming up with the idea of Dodges Ferry to clean up a few caches before heading back to drop him off as he had a better offer in the afternoon, then myself and Goose could do a maintenance trip to one of the caches we look after.
This turned into another great caching trip with us having a some fun cleaning up an area I'd not been to in a long time, we had one DNF so we'll be back soon anyway.
Thanks for the cache.

Well budgie made todays plan so SSR and I went along with it, happy to find the new caches in this area.
We parked at the bus stop and walked down the track and steps and along the waterfront . It was perfectly calm and looked wonderful in the morning mist.
A quick find once at GZ.
Thanks Porkchop6977

In Tas for a couple of weeks working at Brighton. Visiting friends who live near here we decided to look for a couple of caches. Stopped at the boat ramp and walked along the water front to find gz and after a bit of a search found the cache. Great idea for a container signed log and replaced as found.

Today we headed out towards the Tasman Penninsula - as it happens actually for a bit of a catch up with Porkchop6977! Fortunately for us, there were quite a few caches in the neighbourhood that we'd not yet tracked down, including this one, making for a interesting drive home.
We elected to make entry via the Samuel Thorne Reserve (lovely little spot, BTW), wandering down the track to the foreshore. Besides the occasional dog walker, we mostly had the path to ourselves as we made our way towards GZ. As we zeroed in, we found ourselves presented with a beautiful vista across the water from a gorgeous little cove. Between the lovely bush, the peace and quiet and the the stunning waterside location, we absolutely love this spot! You've got an FP from us for that alone!
After eventually tearing ourselves away from the views, we finally set about looking for the cache itself. We pretty quickly spoted a likely-looking hide, but we weren't expecting what we found within! Definitely a bit of a different choice of container, with an added little bit of sentimental value!
Thanks for a fun cache in an amazing spot!

Down south from north of the 42 deg. border for a bit of socialising and of course a few (hopefully quite a few) caches ! I'm glad these little reserves survive the onslaught of rapid infill development, and while not in the best of weed free condition, there is hope for the future. Foreshore area an interesting little expedition as well. Thanks Porkchop6977 for a good spot and clever container, which we haven't seen used until now. favourite awarded.
We chose the direct route down through the Samuel Thorne Reserve and it didn't take long to GZ. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Porkchop6977 for the cache.
We started this track at the carpark near the boat ramp and found it quite narrow and with all kinds of terrain. Nice views along the way, with an echidna walking the track ahead of us (for a little while). Great clever cache which we really enjoyed, then took the steps up to the road. Thanks Porkchop6977.
A nice fast find with no one around.
A very windy day which may have put people off.
A beautiful walk along the foreshore which I will continue.

Challenging walk for senior cachers, but enjoyable and worth it. Quick find once at gz. Left our pathtag. TFTC
Today we headed towards Port Arthur, we picking up a few caches along the way and this was one. A windy day but a good days caching.
After parking nearby we made our way to GZ, down the hill and along the shore. A great view of Seven Mile Beach as we made a quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Lovely walk along the coast...my four year old loved it! (Especially the container)
In a brand new area for me, Caching, i made my way along the coastline and stopped off for this one
A nice scenic walk down to the area of GZ with lovely coastal views was had
At GZ i was looking in a few suspect spots till i spotted something 90% of cachers know so well and it was CIH swiftly then [^]
'Unwrapped' [:o] the cache and was smiling as it was a ripper the log was only in one possible place

Out for a day caching around Dunalley and further south, Found quite a few caches with some great ones among them. The ones around Dunalley were all very good. The walk to the cache in Lime Bay was also a highlight
A very clever cache container, but was worried as I unwrapped it that it could be a drug drop..... lucky for me it wasnt. LOL

A great sunny day to stroll around the shore I left from the boat ramp end. Mm no battery.
Thought I had better call in to get this cache . All's good at gz Thanks Porkchop6977
Haven't been caching for a while, so when a couple of new caches were listed in this area thought I'd have some fun while in the area today. Have wandered this track a few times with a muggle friend who lives in the area, and always thought it would be a great spot for a cache. With the help of a fully charged battery in the GPS, located the cache, stamped log and headed home. Well done Porkchops for making the effort to place a cache here. Thanks.
out and about with 2 LIL Rafas caching on a beautiful day, a quick find walking down from the road at the reserve, to use a phone was the name of the game. TFTC TNLN log dry. the battery was flat.
Thanks for the cache Porkchop6977.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I headed out on a sunny afternoon to grab some caches. This one was one we were keen to find. I'd previously found another cache (now archived) along this trail. For that one I had walked from the boat ramp - I was not aware of the reserve near to this one, so today we accessed the cache via the reserve. Nice quick walk and the cache was soon found.
Great views - there was quite a breeze across the water and plenty of white tops.

*FTF* @ 11.15 am. We headed through the reserve, a spot we have not seen before and down the steps and along to the cache. We passed a well set up boat shed with a deck and a fantastic view complete with a pizza oven! Spot on coords led to a quick find and a blank log book. A favourite for the position. Isn't the other new cache just over there? Another day. TFTC
