Working my way around town I spied a multi that I have not completed. Needing a grid filled for today and still a few more multis to go this one helps out. I timed it so as it would be on my way to the logan catch up event. With some new numbers sorted and a question on whether it's a 1 or a 3 did set me straight when I looked at the hint. A check on where and ok it looks ok so off I went. A quick look around and I found the cache nicely attached. I signed the log and replaced all as found and continued on my way. Thanks for this one. If you are seeing this please check out, GCARTY0, see what is planned for October 2025. There is an importance in placing will attends to events. Thanks for supporting geocaching in Australia. ITS A PARTY EVENT!
Wow, what a beautiful place to come sit and view the river, awesome spot! It was a nice easy multi to work out and a quick find once at the GZ location.Thank you, kolour, a favourite point from me for the view alone
I had noticed this multi on the map when I was in the area a few days ago. Today, I had some time to spare, so headed over here. I parked the geomobile and headed towards the waypoint. Flashback to being swooped by a magpie when I came to find another cache that used to be in this park. It is not nesting season, so today, there were none. At the waypoint, I found the required information, then sat on the seat to do my calculations for GZ. I took a while to site and admire the lovely view of the river before I headed to the final location. Once there, the cache was quickly spotted. With my name added to the log and everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
I decided to have May as My Mad,Multi May Month to find 31 Multi's in the month of May 2023 for a challenge in Melbourne (GC5M69G) that i did finally sign. This cache was on my to do list however i got muggled at the final.Wow this is such a beautiful location and the houses across the river are amazing. In May 2023 i rode my bike here after work and enjoyed the ride around here and at Gz a lovely couple were sitting enjoying the view. They looked settled so i asked them if i could take a photo of what i needed and then we had a nice chat. I rode over to GZ where once again i enjoyed the view and thats where some more muggles were sitting so after awhile i headed off. Glad i did because this afternoon i convinced my husband to come and check out this lovely spot. The coast was clear and we enjoyed the view and it was my husband who spotted the cache. Giving this a FP for a beautiful place. Thanks kolour for taking us here and for the great multi.
After finishing work in the neighbourhood I head to grab this cache. At placement I gather the information to find GZ. The cache was found and then sign.Kolour thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community
Muggle65 and l headed out for a smiley or two today. Thank you for a fun cache
A lovely walk to the posted and yes a fabulous view of the river. AGAIN caching etiquette should be taught to cachers who try & stuff logs back into hides. The disrespect is frustrating.
At first, we thought it was an informational plaque, and waited for muggles to leave the other seat thinking it was on that one! We soon figured it out, and found the great container. TFTC
TFTF! Found the first one months ago and finally made it back today for the second.
On Fathers day I was asked where we might want to go for a picnic lunch. I thought of this park for two reasons. Firstly, I remembered there was an off leash dog area, and secondly, I remember solving this multi but was unable to find on my last visit due to the gz being busy with muggles.
On arrival today it was a similar story, but as we were looking for a picnic spot, the gz cleared and we set up there. It was an easy find with Greatjustgreat coming up with the goods. Nice hide, and nice puzzle. Glad that my calculations done quickly in the car one morning were correct.
Signed this cache today as AWT?. Thanks very much for placing this geocache kolour. Cheers

Thank you for the cache! I used to live close by to here (jogging distance) but I’m not sure if I ever came down here at this time of day (7:15am). It’s lovely down here at this time but the air is a bit brisk. I’ve already visited this multi earlier in the month but my solved coordinates were pointing into a non-accessible area. Until I read the hint! Came back to nab the cache today.
Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful and well used riverside park. This third visit was at dawn so I enjoyed the park to myself while retrieving the cache. When I got back to the vehicle, a. Visitor with two hounds arrived.
Nice hide.
Nice hide.
Needing this type of cache for the latest challenge, I ventured here in between the rain. Quick maths that led me to more lovely views of the river here at GZ. Tftc
Thanks for bringing me here, twice. Sunday afternoon drinks seemed the go and ground zero was busy. Quiet today at lunch.
‘Tis a glorious morning for a walk so we headed to this park and your cache. We didn’t know the history of John Chandler… thank you for that.
The final coordinates were soon worked out but it was very peaceful here, just sitting and watching the water so we lingered a little longer.
Then off to GZ where we made a quick find. Nice cache.
Thank you kolour.

Solved this one a while back but ran out of time to find it. Each time I returned there were muggles nearby. Today is a gloomy cold day, perfect for finally completing the find. In the meantime Geodog and I have enjoyed exploring this lovely park and it’s beautiful views of the Brisbane River. Tftc
I am a few challenges short of qualifying for the Challenging July Challenge. I also have a few nearly finished challenges involving multi's. So, my goal for the month was to collect 31 multis and knock off these challenges.
This afternoon after work I headed over to St Lucia and Indooroopilly hoping to knock over a quartet of multis and finish the challenges. It has been a productive month so far with 30 multis already bagged - and this is the last find needed to qualify!
Another great park. I haven't visited this one since the early 90's I think. It was almost dark when I got here. I hypothesised what the clue might be - a dedication plaque perhaps? I took a seat, and soon had an appropriate final location calculated, It was dark walking to the final location, which was thankfully muggle free. I quickly spotted something that didn't quiet belong here and voila - a logbook. All in good order here. I even managed a quick CITO of some recyclables for the Bromance caching fund.

After visiting Frew Park and the bougainvillea park this was our stop for afternoon tea. Three parks in one day for Chikinlittler's birthday. It was very peaceful out on the point just sitting watching the water. We worked out where GZ was but was unable to make the hunt for quite some time. When we were finally able to access where we needed to be it was a quick discovery of this nicely disguised cache. TFTC. Lots of fun!
Getting late in the afternoon but there was still a lot of activity. There was a good breeze up on the top to keep the midgies away. Muggles we starting to take their pets home and by the time I got back to GZ, I was alone.

Out and about early today and will have to head back to the house soon as many things ( non geocaching) to do this morning. TFTC kolour.
After attending two events on campus today, there's a little time for a few caches.
Another nice park to grab a cache in the late afternoon. Great location for a Multi. Enjoyed the river views. Now off home!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 6:24 pm on 3 March 2023. TFTC, kolour

There were a few council workers testing soil but otherwise I had the park to myself today which made this a very quick multi. TFTC!
Managed to figure out the GZ coordinates by counting the number of letters in each of the words, but couldn’t get to it today as the muggles at the site would not move on…Will happily come back to this nice park again to complete
We worked it all out and found what we believed to be the correct location but we couldn’t find it at all, can’t wait to try again!
I started out here this morning. An easy find of the information required but my treatment of the details had me way off the mark. After a PAF I was told I was overthinking it & so adjusted to a simpler tack. Off to my second GZ & I soon had the cache in hand TFTC
The wife and I took the hound for a walk this afternoon. This was the perfect choice given the (relative) warmth of the day and the lovely views of the river. If only the walk was a bit longer??
The dog enjoyed sniffing around and greeting the other doggies along the path. But it was not long before we were at WP1 and it was down to business. I got to work and the missus put a call through to her mum. At least she was occupied and the time pressure was off.
After doing the sums we strolled back past some doggies and to GZ. A cursory search with the phone camera came up trumps. A nice little one, I must say. I have not seen one quite this shape before, though plenty similar.

Checked on it and it’s still where it should be.
Nice to see a street library has been placed at the car park.

Out and about enjoying the beautiful Queensland sunshine. What an awesome view from the first waypoint of the Brisbane river.
Nice straight forward multi found without the interference of any muggles.
Good.

Good.
Despite the inclement weather, Blkthunder suggested we should go caching… and that never happens… so with a milestone approaching we headed towards UQ… we didn’t achieve the milestone, but we got a little closer…
A pleasant enough walk through the drizzle to Coll the required info… at GZ Blkthunder produced the container…
Tftc… the river is brown and murky today and over the lower carpark but nowhere near the cache…

During the recent Brisbane floods, this cache was washed away and the area damaged, so I have moved the final and changed the calculations. The container is now a micro rather than small. BYO pen. Enjoy.
Lost in the flooding. Will replace it in a slightly different location as the original spot is no longer feasible.
Went to rescue a few caches this morning but the road to the park was already under water. Fingers crossed that the cache is ok but not confident. Will check on it during the week.
For some reason I thought this park was bigger. Lovely views. I worked out GZ relatively easy, I had a suspicion it may be there. But no luck for me today. I did have the geohound which made a decent search a little difficult. Will probably be back, if I remember! Thanks anyway
What! Only 6 finds in over 7 months? How about I make it seven finds in seven months. I came here about a month ago for a bit of exercise, but knowing my ability among ebpxf I was not very confident, and a muggle sitting in his car having a lunch break at the closest carpark didn't help. Today I came prepared. No muggles watching from cars, TWO trekking poles, and the Steadicam to keep me stable on the rough rocks and fall arrest harness for safety! Decided not to wear the PFD today. Last time the Garmin was wandering quite a bit, but today it seemed nice and steady, so when it claimed "1 metre" I stopped and looked around. "What if I shift THAT ebpx?" There was a cache container. Added to the log, no swaps. Replaced. Now just got to get back to the carpark. TFTC, Kolour. I'm pleased to have a find after 3 or 4 multi-cache fails.
A great morning to be out and about gleaning caches and this area was clearly the place to be. Plenty of folk enjoying the playground and the boat ramp on arrival was backed up with jet'ski lovers waiting to get into some fun. [^]
I sauntered along to GZ to find someone within 1m, but I was fortunate enough to be able to glean the info from nearby which made the ordeal less uncomfortable for the young lady I'm sure.
With the details I needed, I headed to GZ where tracking down the right location took a few minutes. I stood back and surveyed the area, then spotted something that looked perfect for a hidey hole and voila, cache in hand.
Cheers kolour.

*FifTF* Fifth to Find at 16:30 hr.
Today after lunch, jesswrigley decided to head out for some shopping, so I thought I would then spend the early afternoon in visiting a few geocaches. Not wanting to travel too far, I made the drive to Indooroopilly, and took a drive around seeing some of the various parks and reserves. Thomas Park Bougainvillea Gardens were a highlight, as well jogging a few of the trails along the river.
It was a short mission in driving all the way out to the nearby car park alongside the golf course, and I wasn't expecting the car park to be half full with cars. I then took a walk/jog out to the posted coordinates, where I soon found the required words that were needed to calculate GZ. I soon worked out the conversion method (as it wasn't too difficult), and so I took a return back, detouring past GZ. I did really enjoy my visit to Sir John Chandler Park, including the jacaranda purple trees flowering.
Wow, that hint didn't assist too much, as I was in quite the mine field! I began to search around, lifting various rocks, but it didn't help that my coordinates were wandering around (which it seemed like other Geocachers had the same issue). After about 10-15 minutes, I decided to make a PAF to the CO to get a better hint, and they did help in narrow down my focus. I do enjoy the word "obvious" hide, as it's always easy once you know where the hide is However, after spending another 5-10 minutes searching around and looking from all sorts of angles, I soon spotted a possible cache hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. At least the current difficulty-terrain ratings were about right for this multi-cache. Thanks kolour for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. I look forward to more multi-caches at the different parks in the vicinity to add to the CO's series!

A new multi in a park that I have visited in a fruitless search of a multi.
Wondered for a while where the sign was and then how to interpret the cache listing.
My first coordinates looked possible, tried another conversion and ended up in the river.
At my coordinates it did not take long as I was lucky to catch a glimpse of the container
Thank you for hiding this geocache kolour

Today I took a solo run to St Lucia to collect this CO's park caches.
It's a lovely walk out to WP1 and after finding the info I sat down to crunch the numbers. I had some doubt about the 3rd word but plotted both numbers and found they were about 5m apart, so I made my way there. However here things went belly up, with GPS jumping like crazy, and I spent 20 minutes slogging away at GZ trying to make the find. Messages went back and forth with the CO, and I sent a PAF to the last finder but still didn't have the cache, then the CO offered to pop down and check things out. At last we together went to GZ and the cache was revealed. A good chat was had and I note a few changes have been made to the cache page. It sure is a tough one to find! TFTC and help, kolour.

I was on the other side of Brisbane when this cache was published or I might have given the Beardman a run for his money. I was FTF on the last cache published here.
I am very familiar with this park and have been planning for some time to put a cache here in honour of my in laws who ran a dairy farm and milk run at Long Pocket for many years. My wife is still a co-owner of a house on Harts Rd where she grew up.
Anyway, this afternoon I had time to visit and, after surviving a gentle attack by one of the biggest dogs (off-leash) I’ve seen in a while, I sat on the bench and did the sums. The noise from the Terrace boys over the water at Tennyson was ridiculous, but otherwise it was a peaceful spot.
My enjoyment of the serenity was somewhat deflated when I went to the GZ and found my phone wouldn’t stay put, leading me up and down and all around. I suspect I was following a geotrail at least some of the time but it was quite a long search before making the find. When I put my phone down at GZ, it kept changing between 5m to 0m, so I can’t suggest much better, but a couple of metres around here makes a lot of difference in Terrain.
TFTC and I took the TB.

The checksum is for the final coordinates. I have updated my wording, so hopefully it's less confusing now.

I wasn’t sure about my numbers and the checksum didn’t quite match so I kept second guessing myself and going back and forth between the WP and GZ. But I finally found it at my calculated location. Took a trackable, left a trackable. Thanks for the cache
