GC96840 S&J 2019Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and we decided to head to Dayboro. Stopped here on the way. We checked them all with no luck. Hope this isnt a sign for the rest of the day. TFTC Gcoven
Little toad guardian is correct. Except some sort of frog I think Thanks for the hide!
A nice quick find on our way home. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Gcoven. All good with this cache.
I found this to be a nice community hall, and an appropriate spot for a cache to be left here. This cache was not a quick find as I expected, and I scouted the many paperbark trees looking up and down, and all around, but alas this cache was seriously alluding me. Right when I was expecting to leave this location with a DNF, I found the logbook on the ground a few metres away from my GZ with no container. Clearly something/someone has tampered with this one, so to keep this one going, I added the logbook to an Ecclipse mint tin, and placed it back in a nearby tree. Thanks [Gcoven](https://coord.info/PRKTWF4) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today turned out to be quite an epic day of adventures, which was in contrast to my usual Monday work day with thanks to flexible work!It was an early morning start meeting [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) at Mount Samson, and we walked in the scrubland finding a few high tree fishing geocaches. Following that, the technical tree climb [I See Better From a Distance](https://coord.info/GC6BNVZ) was conquered with a small group. It was then a northern drive to scope [Licorice Challenge](https://coord.info/GCA9J9Y), and despite having heard about its sketchy tree climb aka tough Terrain rating, it lived up to its reputation.I then closed out the day with [MeAndDe](https://coord.info/PR9CNGM) to walk the mud flats of Sandstone Point finding a few Little Birds. I had planned to kayak these, but this appeared to be a reasonable alternative. We detoured past Beachmere to complete the [Beachmere - worth a visit!](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/1920324e-f45b-4471-9c63-83e9302f835a) Adventure Lab, and made one last swing past its bonus cache.
Heading home, I stopped off here. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
A quick park and grab on the way out to Dayboro. Coordinates are spot on, easy find. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
Post event caching on the northern end.

Gcoven I found your cache S&J 2019 on 1/4/2023, 2:40 pm. This is my find 4918 and find # 23 today. Found it after a brief search in the first paperbark tree and I picked. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A bit of clearing up the old caches in this area. A couple of likely spots but we needed to be thorough with the search in these paperbarks as they are great spots of hide a cache! Fortunately I spotted it in its hidey spot. TFTC
NurseyJulie and I were up this way to clean up the Horse geoart today, but there were some trads dotted around on the map that required our attention, so we swung by a few as we went.
Nice and cool this morning, although we still appreciated the shade of the trees as we scouted around and looked for the container. We bounced between the obvious GZs, before NJ pulled the cache from its lair. Aha, that's where you were hiding...
NJ added out names to the log, returned the container as found and we hit the road.
Cheers Gcoven.

Been to a few dances here in my younger days. I think this will be my last for the day I better head home.
As people say it is a quick but well hidden cache to find.
Thanks for putting this one out. In an area with lots of memories

Just our small group today - and you are right, this location would be just perfect for a relaxed and fun day of celebrations - but not today - we are on a bit of a mission.

Swearah and I are on our way home after a weekend of Dayboro caching madness. A quick stop in here on the way out. This was a sneaky hide that took a little bit of searching to uncover. Thanks for the cache!
A final “one more” cache on the way home from Dayboro with krcamber.
A very clever hide that krcamber found. Phew!
Thanks for the cache, Gcoven

Sandra took the geomonsters to the pictures this morning to see the Minions: The Rise of Gru, so I headed out to check out the caches over at Clear Mountain.
It was a quick walk from Old Mt Samson Station to this cache and I found it in the second place I looked.
Thanks!!

A really quick find, but only as I picked the correct tree…
tftc… returned the container with a little more camo, though I’m not sure how effective that will be…

Woke at 5am to the wife asking me to not toss and turn and keep her awake for another few hours while she caught up in some sleep
To good an opportunity to miss so I suggested I head out for an early morning cache. Had a run in this area on the radar all ready so it worked perfectly
Awesome morning to pick up a few caches in this beautiful part of the world.

My husband and i decided to go for a picnic out this way and find a few smileys . This was the place we decided to have our picnic as it was a nice quite spot and of course a cache nearby. At GZ i soon spotted this cache. Thank you for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Nice and quiet here on a very wet day. School hols, so no worries with that either.
My family and I were most privileged to be amongst the guests at said nuptials so while in the area decided that’s this one was a must get. Oh the great memories of a wonderful day. Quick find and cache in good condition. Tftc
A lovely drive around here this morning picking up some smileys and this is one we found. Log signed and replaced as found. Took TB. Thanks for the cache Gcoven.
Time for us to take our caching up a gear, we've been a little slack of late.
A country run sounded like a plan so we set our sights just south of Dayboro & picked up a few other caches on our run northwest.
Another quick park and grab.
Love these quiet rural areas.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

There were a couple of men working on the hall but they were just out of sight around the corner and I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Fins number 550 for TeamLambo. Picked the right spot on the second attempt. No one around today but we could hear all the laughter from the nearby daycare centre. Thanks for giving us a reason to visit this area again.
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find Thanks for the cache
I had to keep a close eye on a bunch of muggles that were walking nearby, but as soon as they moved on I jumped at the chance to have a look and quickly spotted the hide.
Thanks for giving me a reason to stop by.

Out today for a short drive and I came past this one on my travels. What a great little building, never knew it was here, well until now, thank you.
The cache was an easy find and I picked the right piece of paper from the start.
With log signed and cache replaced as found I was on my way again. Thanks for placing this one here I enjoyed the stop off here. A favourite point for this one from me, just because.

Don't think we've ever stopped at this locality of Mt Samson before - have to try to visit the actual mountain one day too. J had a lie down on the grass while I searched the melaleucas.
Nice quiet area. Soon came up with the little purple cache with lots of colourful buttons inside.

At a bit of a loss with my play mates scattering themselves around the caching map, thought I better log this cache as I was with the CO when it was placed. Got all the sordid details of the nuptials and if you have a spare 3.5 hours, suggest you speak with the CO to get the readers digest version of the event. Cheers Gcoven for placing the cache.
Out for about three hours on a solo run today. I took the loop along Winn Rd to Cashmere and Warner then back via Clear Mountain to Samford.
This is a lovely spot, and I made a quick find. TFTC, Gcoven.

TFTC. We had just completed the Adventure Lab around Lake Samsonvale and were heading back to Bullocky Rest for some lunch and more caches in the park. We stopped here for a quick find

Dayboro Day, Final Day
Today we chose to retrace our tracks to look for caches we had passed previously
The finds were mostly along backroads. It's always good caching in the country.
This also included a drive to Lake Samsonvale to complete the AL

Whilst everything else was soggy the cache and the log were snug and dry. Great to have a cache to symbolise a lovely memory TFTC ??
Rainy day so not too much happening today but I still have to find a few. Dodging puddles and ditches with water but I still got a few caches. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Happy to be at the Dayboro event and completing this cache. Thanks for arranging the hide.
Attending the Mega Event at Dayboro and collecting a few caches along the way. Quick and easy find, signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC

Returning home after our monthly cycling coffee cache up ( minus the cycling due the rain today). Might as well clear the caches on the back roads.
We thought we might not be able to stop for this one when we spotted some lunching muggles but it turned out to be close enough to the road and shielded by trees so retrieval wasn’t a problem. This is a lovely way to mark an important celebration. TFTC Gcoven
Congratulations to the happy couple! We had three happy geocachers here with a quick find despite nearby muggles having lunch - we were quite well shielded.

After spending a while doing some of the Horse series today, we detoured round to this one before heading back to Dayboro. Luckily school pick-up hadn't started so we were able to park right at GZ for an easy find. TFTC Gcoven
After completing my yardwork chores early I popped out for a few finds of some newer caches that have popped up and will help put some stamps in my passport for the new Wonders of the World souvenirs.
Arriving, I saw a heap of adults and kids doing a parachute game on the lawn and thought "oh no". But luckily GZ was much closer to the road than they were and I was obstructed from their view by parked cars, making for an easy find.
Congratulations to the wedded couple!
