Out with BlacknWhite to chase down a few caches in the southern highlands on this fine Kings birthday Monday. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. This one had us baffled. The only nice looking lichen gates were 60 metres from GZ and we had no idea what the hint meant and found nothing after an extensive search of the area. Maybe next time.TFTCIronbark.
Left Goulburn this morning & were now camped at Daley's Camp in Belangalo State forest. After setting up camp we drove towards Moss Vale completing the Rememberance caches & the WIGO crop Circle. We finished the day driving to Bundanoon to do a couple of ALs.Such a big variety of caches found todayA nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks halcyon123 for hiding this cache.
Happily adding some more smileys to the map while out caching with ilook4geo. Good amount of caches still to be found around this area for us. Had a good day and enjoyed the time spent around here. Thanks for placing this cache go to halcyon123.
Happy to add this cache to the tally while out caching around the area with goingplaces2. Log signed, all replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Found it on the ground not sure if it should be there but left it where we found it thanks
Found after a short search, concerned with the recent gardening here it might have gone astray, I eventually found it a little further afield than expected. Thanks for the cache halcyon123
Another nice reason to stop in Exeter. I'll have to come back to finish the trail.
TFTC!

Well I added lots of distance to my walk at this one.
The GPS had me midway between what I considered was two possibile locations so I went back and forth between them. Finally one of them revealed the cache to me.
The walk is completed, except it wasn't as I'd cheated and had driven part way and missed a couple.

After lunch in pretty Exeter we had time for a few caches.
Left some muddy finger marks on this fresh log. Cute gate indeed.

Neither did I have the power to find this cache today, lots of muggles so we left the cache to be.
May have been washed away due to floods a few months ago. Don’t know ?

I didn't have the power today. Not easy to search with a muggle over the road washing his car. Thanks anyway.
My mum and I go for walks when our days off match up. Today was that day. I’ve been wanting to do this walk as soon as I saw the new caches pop up and mum is one of the few people that tolerate my caching. Things have delayed us from doing it before today like weather but today was a sunny winter day, perfect day for a cache.
Last one for today. I saw it before I saw it. I knew mum wouldn’t get this one so I showed her how different hides can be. We thoroughly enjoyed this walk and series. Thanks so much.

A quick find with Charlicorn collecting points for the Science of Discovery souvenirs which expire this weekend. TFTC!
Found this cache while out geocaching near the Moss Vale, NSW area. The cache was in good condition unless stated otherwise. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Here is a little information about me. I have been geocaching since March 2015. At the time of finding this cache, I have over 8550 finds plus 1120 hides. I am the creator of the “Duck Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Place for the Australian Capital Territory in the State Vs State - Battle of the Lab Caches at the OzGeoMuster - The Gong Mega (GC7N7ZC) 2019 in Wollongong, Australia. It was my love of Geocaching that helped me find my lovely Wife. I have dedicated a Geocache to her that explains how Geocaching brought us together. That Cache is The Blueiris of Tidbinbilla by DARKSIDEDAN. | GC80WHA | Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
Currently I have over 10,000 Pathtags in my Collection plus over 500 Etagz. My collection includes over 300 JMC Pathtags and 180 Charlie Harper Pathtags. I love to trade pathtags with people at events or via post within Australia only. I currently have four Personal Pathtags 45762 / 46950 / 47696 / 47987 with another three in the works. Note: I do not trade overseas (Australia Only) so please do not ask. Also I do not log my Pathtags on Pathtags.com to keep what I have in my collection private. If you are selling your Pathtags or want to swap Pathtags send me a message. As a bonus to reading this very long log, please feel free to discover my Virtual Trackable AR6QTT. Yes this is my Personal Virtual Trackable and I give permission for you to discover it. Please feel free to share my Virtual Trackable with every geocacher you know.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it.
Geocache Poem
by DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.

***** I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the May 2021 my average is 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 200 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 8000 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

**This Cache:**
An easy park and grab series with common hides, no problems here
**Today:**
A trip to the Southern Highlands today with DSD to clean up some of the more "Park and Grab" style caches, rather than being super focused like I usually am! We also managed to sneak in some of the solved puzzles on my list too which were on my to-do list and happened to be along the routes we were taking!
All up a fairly productive day, with 45 finds over a 5 hour period excluding the driving time to/from Canberra. We had a few DNF's and a LOTTT of Did Not Attempts, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of missing caches around the place.
Thanks to all the CO's!

Yes, it has to be a beautiful gate showing its old age. Thanks for the series, gets a fav from me
Spent the day in the Southern Highlands grabbing a few caches. Under beautiful skies I targeted a few areas and strategic finds.
This was a nice trail around the burbs. Easy find
Thanks to all the cache owners for contributing to my fun day.

On my way to Yass for the weekend for caching. Left straight after work to hopefully have a little bit of daylight left. Just managed to pick up a few loose ends.

Nice hide! GPS was pointing past the fence and as Mr OlMaLol got out of the car, Miss OlMaLol told him to check this place from the front seat. And what do you know, cache turned out to be right there! Thanks the great hide!
Out and about doing some solo caching in this beautiful weather. Well that was shocking... I walked right past it and went high... duh! Had to pick my timing again with a dog walker and lawn mower. This is an enjoyable little series. Thanks
The plan for this afternoon was to grab this series. Took some time as often the coordinates where substantially out, but managed to find them all.
This one straightforward. Thanks

I spent Clean Up Australia Day caching with 154Crows. We attended a CITO, made a handful of finds and started planning a new Adventure Lab. A successful and well-needed day outdoors! TFTC
I was going home and wanted to grab a couple of caches on my way to break my trip up..
This is a lovely area and a way to stretch my legs before continuing my trip.

23,600. An unexpected trio of first to finds on our way up to a Community Celebration Event today.
Heading up to Berrima with minniek for a Community Celebration Event when we spotted 5 new Traditionals published at Exeter. Since we were nearly there we took the short detour and arrived at this one next. Quick look and the cache was soon in hand. Opened up to a blank log which is always a nice sight ! Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks halcyon123 !!
