*26 Oct 2024, Found @3:32PM, Find # 3967.*A nice day to take the bike out on this trail. Stealth was needed here. Seems to be a popular spot with the young teenagers maybe because of the nearby creek. **Thanks to crank1 for placing this cache.**
Easy find cheers. We are out doing this trail and hope to complete it today. Thanks. First one and the pens already gone. We have a texter it will do. W8CA
Perfect weather for a day cache adventuring with doddlingalong. Today, meandering around the parks of Narre Warren. TFTC.
Today, I headed out on a geocaching adventure with crustyvarmint. and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather by riding our ebikes. The trails were in excellent condition, making for a smooth and enjoyable journey.we found most of the caches relatively quickly, However, a few caches proved to be more challenging, hiding just out of view. When we finally uncovered them, we couldn't help but laugh at how obvious they seemed once found. It was like they had been playing a game of hide and seek with us!The ride along the River Gum Creek was truly pleasant, and Im grateful to Crank1 for creating this series. Without it, I might never have discovered these scenic trails and the joy of exploring them on an ebike. It was a memorable day, filled with discovery, fresh air, and good company.
Today I went out caching with Juzzmagic. We were targeting the River Gum Creek series and, with the excellent weather, we rode our ebikes, and had a successful day. Most were found quite quickly, but some took longer. Once discovered, however, it was hard to understand why they had eluded us.Thanks for your work in this area, Crank1. Without this series I wouldnt have experienced the pleasant ride along these trails.
Our final find for today, near our parking coordinates, before we had to move on to the next part of today's plans.Thank you for bringing us here, it looks like we will be completing this trail over quite some time.
And this concludes our little 4km loop. Slowly ramping the distances up. Will be back to finish the rest off soon.
Out caching with Riply1602 for their first dabble in caching. Nice little trail to follow. Tftc!
Found it , found this one in the logical spot for a cache. Log signed, now off to the next one. Tftc
Thanks crank1. Beautiful King's birthday to be out in Hampton Park. TFTC. Giddy up
Having found #1 to #8 almost two years ago on a bus driving job, today I was back in the area to drop my son to a friend's wedding close by. This time the bike made transit between GZs quicker. An update of the app I use has wiped all my specific cache notes made at the time unfortunately. All finds were in good condition, although a number of logs hadn't been rolled properly so were somewhat scrunched into the containers. I rerolled them all as best I could. TFTC crank1
Found with Bogonghazy. Day out caching in the area. Thanks crank1 for placing the cache
Found with LittleBoss2 on our week in Rye. Yesterday's caches were so good, we thought we'd head back up the highway for another long walk. All these caches were in good order with great coords. What an amazing series of caches in a beautiful area. Our sincere thanks to Crank 1 for all the time and effort in placing and maintaining them
Decided to walk the river gum series today and boost my January finds. Thanks so much for a great power trail
Completing another PowerTrail on the push bike today, This time going to tackle the River Gum Trail and the last section of the Hallam Valley Trail I have yet to fully complete. All caches are in good working order unless otherwise specified. Thanks heaps for the caches as always!.
Whoop whoop we made our milestones together 300- Cazzajane07 1100- for me - TFTC
In the area today so some extra time was used for a few caches. GPS creep made this harder to find than it was.
I headed out on this stunning spring day to knock a few caches off my list. I had my bike so I had anticipated to get through a number of finds in a few hours. I didn’t. Perhaps I had a bit of cache blindness but most took quite some time to locate and I had 5 DNFs on this series today. I’m pretty sure they are missing but I’ll put a watch on them and we will see what happens.
A quick find. Log is in good order.
Thank you crank1 for placing and maintaining River Gum Creek #14 for us to find today.

Found on a quick after-work walk to increase my number of finds in the Casey LGA. Accurate coordinated made this a very quick find.
With Crank1 - Gee Melbourne's weather isn't nice for me.
At the same time she fixes the caches. all done!.
Thank you for the cache and hunt.

ManfredWolfgang ahomburg and myself decided to combine ManfredWolfganfs walk and some caching. Despite Uncle and Aunty Knight_Shift dumping us series companions, we pushed through the mental pain, and managed to find the caches in a good frame of mind. It was a wonderfully sunny day, which is normally good, but I didn’t pack a hat. ManfredWolfgang had his supplies, so at least the important things were packed. Whilst he had water, uncle ahomburg and myself dehydrated .
Thanks for the caches crank1, they created a nice walk for ManfredWolfgang.

Woof woof woof (translated - Uncle a Homburg tried to make me walk on wet grass. Has he met me?)
Decided to do a power track - not my usual caching journey. I put my mountain bike in the car and headed off to the start. Over 2 hours along the track and with Cachly on my iWatch as I went from cache to cache, I covered 23 caches in this series.
Immediately found. Thanks.
Immediately found. Thanks.
I usually don't do *power trails* for the sake of building the number of s... but a late decision to see if I can find 1,000 caches in a year... and a late decision to try for the third April souvenir... and a definite need to walk off the excesses of too much Easter and Birthday eating. After a successful morning and some lunch, I was now ready for the second leg of my day.
After starting with the first way point of the nearby Multi, I returned to this series with this cache, #14, and continued on to the higher numbered caches in sequence. As with most caches today, this was a reasonably easy find. At this point I will acknowledge that my Logs will get a bit repetitive... but that has got to be expected for a *power trail*.
Thanks **crank1** for the cache and the series.

Found while out exploring this lovely area and found this River Gum Creek trail so Thanks Crank1 for putting this trail together.
Grabbed the deadly treadlies, and with Chewinprickles and a couple of granddaughters, we rode the River Gum Creek.
Some really nice wooden sculptures around the trail.
A nice flat trail, and a lovely ride with very few muggles spotted.
Thanks for this series, Robmc.

An enjoyable ride on a coolish day. In fact it rained before we finished the series.
Thanks crank1
Thanks crank1
After collecting my Granddaughter from daycare, I took her home.
This gave my son a short break after he finished work.
We then cleaned out his garden shed, ready for hard rubbish collection next week.
Grabbed a bag of lemons from their tree.
Now it is time for a 3.7 km walk and grab some of your caches.
This was the first of seven finds.
Thanks crank1. A great place to get some exercise.

So...it's been a long time since I insisted on a family caching day. There's good reason for this. With 2 teenagers and an 11 year old there is always one who doesn't want to be there. Today is no exception. Cache found, moving on.
It's a better day for geocaching today .. yesterday was simply too hot for a longish walk .. Thanks for placing the caches Crank1, I look forward to completing the series.
Found it! Last one for today. It’s way too hot now! Fortunately it was a quick find once at GZ, followed by a quick retreat to the waiting geo-mobile with airconditioning! TFTC SL. Will visit again soon to find the rest!!
Out for another trail on another lovely day after what felt like years of rain. Really enjoyed this trail. Thanks crank1
Return here again since last week due to little floods in this area. Enjoyed the walking with bombers27. Found it. Thanks crank1 for placing this cache
Kids are starting to flag so we'll likely cut this short of the whole loop, but I had the forethought to move our car to the last cache before we set off. Miss 8 found this one and TFTC
Nice quick find for us today!

*Gembrook Scout Awards Ceremony Adventure #15*
I had an awards ceremony for Scouts Victoria in Gembrook. I don't get to this side of town very often, so of course I'm going to pick up a few caches.
I've parked the car nearby, in a car park, and am using my bike to scoot up and down the trail. However, the car park is a total trash-fest. Will have to CITO before I leave.
Thanks heaps, Crank1!

I thought this one would be harder, but I walked over, looked down, and there it was! I had a slight wait as more walkers were about, but they shot off in the other direction.
