*26 Oct 2024, Found @5:22PM, Find # 3974.*A nice day to take the bike out on this trail. Quick find as per the hint. **Thanks to crank1 for placing this cache.**
Thanks for changing it up along this trail! Another clever little container! Thanks for find #469!
Easy find cheers. We are out doing this trail and hope to complete it today. Thanks. First one and the pens already gone. We have a texter it will do. W8CA
Out on a gorgeous day with carmlee1, quick f8nd, particularly with the promise of some hot chippies
Perfect weather for a day cache adventuring with doddlingalong. Today, meandering around the parks of Narre Warren. TFTC.
Our 7th and last one for today. Now back to the car and off to grandparent duties.Thank you for another opportunity to break the trip with a few caches and stretching our legs.
Today, I headed out on a geocaching adventure with crustyvarmint. and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather by riding our ebikes. The trails were in excellent condition, making for a smooth and enjoyable journey.we found most of the caches relatively quickly, However, a few caches proved to be more challenging, hiding just out of view. When we finally uncovered them, we couldn't help but laugh at how obvious they seemed once found. It was like they had been playing a game of hide and seek with us!The ride along the River Gum Creek was truly pleasant, and Im grateful to Crank1 for creating this series. Without it, I might never have discovered these scenic trails and the joy of exploring them on an ebike. It was a memorable day, filled with discovery, fresh air, and good company.
Today I went out caching with Juzzmagic. We were targeting the River Gum Creek series and, with the excellent weather, we rode our ebikes, and had a successful day. Most were found quite quickly, but some took longer. Once discovered, however, it was hard to understand why they had eluded us.Thanks for your work in this area, Crank1. Without this series I wouldnt have experienced the pleasant ride along these trails.
Out caching with Riply1602 for their first dabble in caching. Nice little trail to follow. Tftc!
Found with icw. This looked like a risky place to hide a cache as muggle traffic would be high on weekends and fine days. Today was cool and very windy which kept all but the most dedicated walkers away and the container was well hidden. Tftc.
Thanks ctank1. Hopefully the first of many on the first King's birthday for a while. Giddy up
Nice one. Did this with the scouts in the dark. took some time to understand the hint
A bit exposed so covered up. Last time I was out this way I had planned to get all the river gum series but was using the Cachly app and for some reason this cluster didnt show on the map.
In a bit of a change I chose to go down south and a little east for my walk today. Given that I was on a Costco run it made sense to travel a little further to access this half-completed series. I'd like to say I completed the other half but the reality was that I had ~2 hours of daylight left when I arrived at the car park and I find that either I immediately find this CO's caches or it's an exercise in frustration. There doesn't seem to be a halfway point for me. On the positive side it just means that I'll have to revisit River Gum Reserve and take a less interrupted walk around its perimeter. My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Many thanks to crank1 for putting these out and maintaining them over the years. I assume the bike gets a decent amount of use to those ends.----Cache is in good order. I'd suggest the CO stop here on her next maintenance run and remove one of the full logsheets to create a little more room in the container.
Found with LittleBoss2 on our week in Rye. Yesterday's caches were so good, we thought we'd head back up the highway for another long walk. All these caches were in good order with great coords. What an amazing series of caches in a beautiful area. Our sincere thanks to Crank 1 for all the time and effort in placing and maintaining them
Found with Bogonghazy. Day out caching in the area. Thanks crank1 for placing the cache
Second time in a row that i couldnt find it i doubt its gone though considering the recent find
Good to know that the totems do not depict creatures in their natural colours! (See sign) TFTC
Completing another PowerTrail on the push bike today, This time going to tackle the River Gum Trail and the last section of the Hallam Valley Trail I have yet to fully complete. All caches are in good working order unless otherwise specified. Thanks heaps for the caches as always!.
Found by Narre Warren Pawsey Pack Cub Scouts. Kids enjoyed this one. In good condition.
----------### **CACHE OWNER PLEASE NOTE** ###----------This cache would seem to have had some welcomed action on behalf of the CO by a Good Samaritan - 'sonic___', so it fortunately lives for another day. Please remember that cache maintenance arrangements need to be proactive, not reactive. This means regular visits (by the CO) to check on the cache and not relying on or expect passing seekers to fix issues or replace missing caches. Even though a Good Samaritan has addressed the issue, there is still a need to remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute - see here: [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon.**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and then Enable the cache - see this link: [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) .**I've removed the NM attribute and Enabled the cache for you on this occasion.**
Return visit to the area with some spare time to work through a few more of this seriesPlenty of paper thanks to sonic___
I headed out on this stunning spring day to knock a few caches off my list. I had my bike so I had anticipated to get through a number of finds in a few hours. I didn’t. Perhaps I had a bit of cache blindness but most took quite some time to locate and I had 5 DNFs on this series today. I’m pretty sure they are missing but I’ll put a watch on them and we will see what happens.
Added a new sheet of write in the rain paper so this is ok to enable.
Thank you crank1 for placing and maintaining River Gum Creek #21 for us to find today.

ManfredWolfgang ahomburg and myself decided to combine ManfredWolfganfs walk and some caching. Despite Uncle and Aunty Knight_Shift dumping us series companions, we pushed through the mental pain, and managed to find the caches in a good frame of mind. It was a wonderfully sunny day, which is normally good, but I didn’t pack a hat. ManfredWolfgang had his supplies, so at least the important things were packed. Whilst he had water, uncle ahomburg and myself dehydrated .
Thanks for the caches crank1, they created a nice walk for ManfredWolfgang.

Woof woof woof (translated - Uncle a Homburg tried to make me walk on wet grass. Has he met me?)
Decided to do a power track - not my usual caching journey. I put my mountain bike in the car and headed off to the start. Over 2 hours along the track and with Cachly on my iWatch as I went from cache to cache, I covered 23 caches in this series. Fork and silver spoon here thanks crank1.
I usually don't do *power trails* for the sake of building the number of s... but a late decision to see if I can find 1,000 caches in a year... and a late decision to try for the third April souvenir... and a definite need to walk off the excesses of too much Easter and Birthday eating. After a successful morning and some lunch, I was now ready for the second leg of my day.
Having started this leg with #14, I was now making my way counter-clockwise around the lake finding the caches in a numerically ascending order. Hooray, after two s, I was pleased to be back on the s.
As with most caches today, this was a reasonably easy find. At this point I will acknowledge that my Logs will get a bit repetitive... but that has got to be expected for a *power trail*.
Thanks **crank1** for the cache and the series.

Found while out exploring this lovely area and found this River Gum Creek trail so Thanks Crank1 for putting this trail together.
I was on another of my after-work afternoon walk somewhere in Casey. I did a short loop around the top part of this park and had a good success rate. Loved the totam poles close by.
Hampton Park is a suburb located in the southeastern part of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The area that is now Hampton Park was originally inhabited by the Bunurong people
The first European settler to the area was Robert Bain, who established a farm near present-day Hallam Road in the 1850s. Yet, until the Hampton Park sub-division in 1917-1918 rate payers of the area were listed variously as living in Eumemmerring, Dandenong or Lyndhurst. The area was locally known as Garner’s Paddock, after the owners, the Garner family of Dandenong. The suburb supposedly takes its name from a local property owner, Thomas Hampton, who owned a large estate in the area in the early 20th century. Hampton's property was called "Hampton Park", and it was one of the largest and most significant estates in the region.
Interesting pole carving here.
Thanks for the cache Crank 1
