I have seen magnetic bugs before...but no sign of one here today.
Only heaps of cheeeky birds.!
Hope it hasn't gone...they are pretty expensive.

Spent a while looking and found nothing. Didn't find any metal a magnet could be attached to.
Over with ABCDF4 and eyespyben to try and clear out this area. No luck here but searching was hampered by the passing people. In the end gave up. Will have to come back.
Well, we did find what might have held the cache but no bug or cache container to be found anywhere. Can send CO a photo of "pedestal" we found if they would like.
grifter13, we didn’t find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasn’t for lack of trying though! Spent far too long looking but nothing!
Finally found this one, had been looking in the wrong place. Great hide, TFTC
Woohoo! This one took me ages, I gave up and came back and looked in a different spot and got it straight away. Great hide!
Over here helping our son clean and move into another house. Left the young adults cleaning.
Took a while to find. But got there in the end. Yes the bug made me jump.

Such a cool find. Had a giggle watching Baneswolf get a fright when he discovered the bug but in the process the bug was knocked from it’s pedestal…and now repaired, rehoused, and returned. Thank you for the find.
Yay, first one to find it and to log been waiting ever since I tried looking for it last time. Thank you so much. This one is definitely a winner don't forget your tweezers happy hunting
Been looking for ages, found a rock with a magnate but nothing with it. Wondering if the last person put it back in the right place. Unsure what I'm looking for. But might have to come back
This one was tricky! Too many muggles on our first attempt, but came back with fellow hunters today.
Bit of a hoot finding this …once again I gave the GPS to the leader..surprisingly he was spot on the money or should I say the bug …I was wondering if you named this one because it bugged off from the Bus stop on Moffort looks like a similar breed …well done Grifter grandee enjoyed the novel insect camo the log was soon signed many thanks Grifter 13 ..the cache was replaced as found
A bit of paperwork sorted and we were out the door with newly arrived young Noidnz. First off was some cache maintenance. We had time after that, so headed out here for the two we haven't found yet. This being the first. Plenty of water fowl, or should I say land foul!? Noidnz was keen to find this so we set him off with the gps. He soon had gz and he is now quite expert at finding these well camoed caches. It wasn't long before it was discovered. Thanks for bringing us here grifter13.
Came over from Rotorua for the afternoon with Squirrel Nutcase and meet up with Philip.Perry and Fap from FapandGap do grab a few caches and clear out maps. Thanks for your placements caches all in good condition.
Making the best of a lovely sunny winters day for a bike cruise around the countryside for some smilies. And what a great day it was! There was a family feeding the ducks here so we had to call in at Maude's for a coffee and cakee to give them time to finish... The things we have to do for our sport! All clear on the way back, except for the ducks; they didn't move a muscle while we looked just about right under their wings. Very tame and very well fed. Tweezers needed for extraction once we spotted it, but that did the trick. Cache is all good. TFTC
Found it fairly easy. he hard part was getting the log out. Had to resort to a McGuiver type TOTT.
Plenty of nosey geese, thinking I was going to feed them.
Thanks Grifter

As we turned the corner we were greeted with a sight of an event happening at the playground...hmmm. Wasn't actually too hard once we took a seat and sheltered ourselves. The ducks were nosey aswell
Spent close to an hr trying to find but this one has me stumped! Any hints? Please message me!
Could not find it in any of the cracks and we looked underneath the decking only to find spiders and cockroaches. We found a rodent trap and got curios but we found nothing in it. Ducks were a little bit hard to avoid as they were following us around.
I had a little trouble here - light was fading and I'd thoroughly combed the obvious spots. Eventually I expanded my search area and almost immediately found what I was looking for. Cheers grifter13 - another neat container.

Nearly gave up but noticed something odd just before I left. Easy to dislodge. Didn’t need tweezers
Out for a stroll with the pup and decided to pick up a couple of caches, looking in the wrong place for a bit and whilst keeping the pup from the inquisitive ducks a possible was spotted and sure enough the location was discovered. A great cache thanks.
Found on 22/03 with kimbathelion. Stumped on this one for quite some time, but then finally found it
The rain stuffed what i had on today but cleared about lunch time so decided to get out & about for a bit.Te cache was pure good luck. Afew guys were sailing boats on the lake so was being careful not to attract attention.Sat down & pretended to tie my shoe laces & voila,i'm sure that's it & sure enough.Thankyou grifter13,well don & a fav.
This had buzzy bee & i perplexed. Had a helper but it wasn't very helpful. Then I spotted something that didn't look right & we were happy. Tftc
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We have time to spare before heading home, so why not clear up some Tauranga caches...
This one was tricky on a couple of fronts: first, the area is popular, and the ducks and water are a drawcard for young
families; second, the cache had become detached with a risk of it becoming lost. Said ducks were well fed and didn’t hinder our search. Thanks grifter13 and TFTC.

area fairly busy today.
just had to be careful in our search not to drawn attention to ourselves .

Decided we had better grab this one whilst it was nice and new but it eluded us for quite some time. We must have run our hands over it several times in our search but it finally revealed itself and what a clever little hide it is. No problem with the ducks - they don't seem to like torchlight. Another favourite point for this one! TFTC

Out today and not many people at GZ so I thought I would have a look for this one. Reading the page I saw I didn’t have the required tool and was about to go when I saw another cacher approaching
So nice to meet you Jesse especially as you had the requi tool. Took us a little time to spot this nice but sneaky hide and it was Jesse who actually found it so 2nd to find goes to him. Hope you get a FTF soon. Nice area but lots of big nosey birds TFTC

A tricky little hide but got there in the end (after the ducks lost interest). TFTC.
YAY {FTF} 12.55pm. Was in town doing chores with my elderly father when the alert came out. Rushed him off home and out I came. There was a muggle lady sitting at GZ and not moving any time soon, bugga!! There was a grab a seat promo live on facebook at the time, so I gave up and headed to the other side of town to no avail. Decided after missing out on any of their prizes to head back over here again. This time had the place to myself, well, almost, those pesky ducks and swans wouldnt leave me alone so I out waited them. Finally was able to hone in on GZ to make the discovery. Yay no other names on log. Had more trouble putting log back than getting out lol. Many thanks for the hide, cheers.
