Once i have ordered in some new caches, I'll be either replacing it in its current spot or finding a new spot based on the new cache size. If it's in a new spot, I'll be archiving this, but I'll be leaving this location open till then.Note! The cache is still there at the base of the gate it used to be magnetic, but it isn't anymore as the magnet is gone. You should be looking for a bolt.
Feel like I looked everywhere couldnt find. Hint wasnt too helpful please help as I would love to find it sometime!
A bit overgrown but found after a bit of searching. TFTC JenneG and Budgy with Tony and Anne
Took longer than it should ould have looking for a magnetic as described but it’s not. Budgy eventually unearthed it. TFTC.
This is quite a big gate, it's a shame we can't go through it any more. Must be an insurance thing maybe.
It took us a while to find this cache, as we were looking for a magnet hide. Found it in the end though.
Thanks for the cache!

Yesterday we spent doing NRRT caches with a large group. This morning the numbers had dwindled with only Brother Colin and myself setting out early to pick up caches on a return ride to Tyalgum for coffee and scones.Shame public access down to the river is no longer permitted. Picked up on the return ride to Murwillumbah.
Teamdfl & I had planned to ride the Northern Rivers Rail Trail (NRRT) last weekend and then Ruzzelz started organizing another of his group rides, so we changed our trip to join the bigger group.
In the end there was about a dozen people (and two dogs) in the group.
On the return ride we did stop at Burringbar Pub for a meal and drinks. I would recommend a stop here.
Overall, a great day out. I ended up cycling a little over 60km.
That was yesterday. Today Ruzzlez and I cycled out to Tyalgum because the road is closed to vehicular traffic due to a section being destroyed by flood waters.
We found a few caches, had scones and a drink at Tyalgum and had a great ride.
Today I cycled a little under 60km.
Thanks for the adventure Ruzzelz.

Overnight, a trip south was taken staying with family at Robina, which allowed me the opportunity to join an organised ride along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail (NRRT) starting in Murwillumbah. I started the day with Kirra parkrun at Coolangatta, and after meeting the group, we spent the day riding the 24 km NRRT route through terrific scenery with near-perfect weather. A highly recommended experience!
A interesting out-of-the-way spot that I am sure only the locals probably know of. I recall reading past logs that likely this was a route for entry and swimming until they blocked it off? A short search soon revealed the cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. It does appear to be a fresh logbook, so perhaps recent ninja maintenance has occurred here? Thanks Lockenash for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Went today while in the area. I had never known there was a weir here either until I was checking the info about this geocache.
Yes, it is a pity the gate is locked keeping people away from the weir. Perhaps there were some irresponsible ones behaving in a way to not be careful of their safety. Who knows.
With log signed and cache replaced we were on our way to a longer drive in the area.
Cheers and happy caching!

Used to go swimming, fishing and catching penny turtles here as a kid.

I think like a lot of other people I checked out the wrong end of the gate first. I was also at a loss for some time and was about to walk away when I kicked over the right bit of dirt to uncover the hide. tftc
Parked at a suitable location in town and set off on the geocycle to try and round up some smilies. I was not sure if I would get to the ones out here. Looking from home the road did not look like it would be safe to ride. This proved to be the case, but there was a perfectly good path along the side.
If there is an option I always check the wrong one first....

Borborygmic Lane
Described as an "alley that was so narrow as to be barely visible", with damp green moss-covered walls, barely wide enough to allow Captain Carrot to pass along without scraping his shoulders. Not a lot of people know it's there, nor are aware that it allows a way of getting quickly from Upper Broad Way to Zephire Street without having to go an inconveniently long way round. The key, apparently, is Borborygmic Lane, which connects Mormius Street (leading off Broad Way) to Whilom Alley (leading to Zephire).

Tried for this one last visit but no luck - when under time pressure I always fail.
Back today and was prepared to search a bit wider - GPS had me at the wrong end last time. In the end I really should have found this last time - an obvious hide in the one spot I probably should have looked in.

Our annual holiday trip to the Mexican state of New South Wales to catch up with outlaws and other family members. I like it because it is a chance to get in some caching for a few hours a day. A drive back to Murwillumbah today to pick up a bike from the repair shop. Great opportunity to finish off my caching from yesterday. I started in Stockers Siding and continued into Murwillumbah. Then over to Kingscliff for an adventure lab or two before heading back home. So many caches in out of the way spots, I enjoyed each cache and got to avenge a few dnf’s from yesterday. Thanks to the CO’s for today’s little run.
This was the next one on my list, I parked up and walked around the item in question. With only a few places to hide I made the find quickly. The log was a little wet but after I dried it out, I was able to sign. I replaced as found and moved onto my next one for the day. Thanks for the hide here.

Very hard to open, and damp inside. Dried everything as best I could, but this weather isn't helping.
quick and easy search for this one. its a shame the gates are locked I would like to go down to the water. TFTC LNT
After lunch at Tyalgum and heading home decided to stop in and find this newer cache. Knew there was a weir at Bray Park but not where to find it - the things you find out about when caching. Thanks.
Nice view down to the weir, bit of a shame that it is closed off to pedestrian traffic. One of our team could have got through but the old fat man wouldn't even try!
GPS was pulling us in a direction that didn't have many possibilities so moved a bit wider and soon spotted a likely spot. TFTC Lockenash

I realise a rookie found this one before me, they had left the log out to get wet instead of re-rolling it tighter to get it back in the cache holder. Log was still signable and back how it should be. Thanks for this one
