Logs
Was sitting in the car at low tide, and read the description for this cache. Really not dressed for this kind of adventure, will have to come back another time.Cheers
New waterproof cache and log currently being installed! Thanks for the heads up from recent cachers.
Interesting walk to find cache. Log was wet, spent a little time to dry it out a bit. But really needs a new log. Thanks for the hide, first cache 2024!!! Gets a fave from me.
We are on a 6-day new-year's camping trip which is taking us down along the south coast to Bega, then onto Namadgi NP. Mostly we've been earth caching it along the coast today but a detour out to this one for the handy D/T was a must. I donned the thongs and took advantage of the low tide and set out, finding a way to GZ. Cache soon found but the log is fairly manky. Managed to dry it out a little in this very humid afternoon before making my mark. Could do with some CO love, tho. TFTC, loopycacher.#1728
Lots of mud on our feet getting here but we're so excited that we found it.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining this Geocache loopycacher

We were lucky to have been here with low tide. The walk to gZ was very muddy and definitely can’t drive to it.
Once close enough we spotted the hide and added our names .

Sort of found it, did not read description properly and did a big hike through the bush to get as close as possible
Lovely morning caching down the coast . All caches found quick and easy.

A bonus mission to the coast with ZQX, AngelG27, and Fox in Jox due to today's public holiday in the ACT. Fox in Jox led the way to this one, as he'd already found it. AngelG27 waded out the last 20 or so metres to easily locate and sign the cache as we watched on to keep our feet dry. TFTC,

The weather forecast was not looking good, but nothing was getting in the way of a holiday Monday mission to the coast for team FATZ (Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX). We did a loop from CBR to Nowra, then south to the Bay and back up the Clyde, grabbing caches of interest along the way. Not as many as planned but still a good haul!
ZQX added this one to the list, and since Fox had already found it, I ended up taking one for the team. Water came up mid shin, but with sturdy shoes on, the mangrove roots did not bother me.
Thanks loopycacher for the cache and the fun!

Squelchy. Muddy. Some long grass to wipe the shoes. A bit of a lantana-ful bushbash. Mangroves. Salt water. Cache!
Found with friends on a Monday road trip.

We'd come south prepared for watersports and this area had been a favourite holiday spot for us in the years BC (before caches). The tide was well out so we walked through some sandy puddles and finally across the mangrove mud. For some reason, these containers are often quite wet and this one was half-full, or perhaps more optimistically, half-empty. The soggy log resisted our attempts to sign it so we added a bison with a dry log roll. A peaceful, picturesque spot. Thanks loopycacher.
Not keen to get bogged in the car we used shank's pony to arrive at muddy GZ.
A few hungry mozzies didn't deter.

What a muddy adventure
It was right out in the mangroves and we got pretty dirty on our way. TFTC

In the area for a few days. I had eyed this cache before I arrived, due to its d/t rating. So, an early morning mission, while geopartner was still in slumberland.
Parked nearby, walked in to the wetzone, then donned the booties for the final assault. Hint helped for a quick find. Log quite wet. TFTC lc

sunk more then a hippo in mud but found it in the end hint put us on right track fast tftc
Managed a quick find once I got to GZ. Was hoping to try for FTF when this was released, but got beaten to it so I have only just gotten around to coming out here. Thanks
Other than a detour to tick off the final in a series down south, a catch up with Bonfire7 today wasn’t really going to include any caching. However, chatting over lunch we realised there were a few new hides worth checking out… even if I was wearing a skirt! Detoured via home to grab some gumboots and headed to our closest option resulting in some off-road driving, mozzie bites, and the shared excitement of a joint [FTF] on one I may not have attempted at all based on the description (at least not alone), and certainly not today.
Out caching today with mizmaz we stopped for lunch at Sth Nowra and noticed this cache was yet to be found, maz was also keen to complete the Culburra AL and i also still needed to find the final so we drove out to Culburra for an afternoon of caching.
With the [FTF] up for grabs we stopped in here first,we soon found a way in and made a good move by stopping in at home and grabbing gumboots on the way!
Arriving at GZ the tide was low so after a quick scan we soon found it.
I really enjoyed this cache,a fun caching adventure!
A fav from me
