Stephyy I didn’t find your cache Sports Sports Sports on 6/1/2023, 12:29 pm. No one around for a good look. Nothing found. If it is a micro it maybe sliding down into the gutter where it gets swept away when it rains.
I had the place to myself and spent time to minutely inspect the area but i couldn't locate the cache.
Seqrxhed high and low. I wonder if it was in the gutter. Only place I couldn't get
I had previously DNFed this cache. I noticed that it had been replaced, so I headed here late this afternoon, hoping that no one would be about. I had to wait for some muggles to finish kicking a football around. Once they had gone I found the cache in the first place I looked. Log signed, cache replaced as found and I headed back home. TFTC
We parked the car and wandered across to this one. Being a weekday, all was quiet in the area and we had the freedom to search without any interruption.
Mr Domsky spotted this one, and we soon had our names added to the tiny log sheet.
A very sneaky hide. A good location.
Thanks Stephyy

D 2.0 T 1.5 Micro Traditional Cache
A very enjoyable day with Domsky Dou chasing 6 multis in a day for a challenge they have signed while they attended a Mega down south, while I was trying to complete my 6th loop. The Young's Crossing was closed today as they released water from the dam. Traffic was aweful at Petrie with all the diversion and road improvement but we still managed to have a good time.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Stephyy. I was just about to PAF but Mr Domsky found it already.

No idea what happened to my original log. GSAK says it was published, but it does not appear online. So here I go again. Out for a pedal and hunt this morning. No trouble at this one early on a weekday. Not sure I would rate it T1.5, but it is easy enough to get to.
Persistence paid off with this one, though without the height of Mr S I am not sure I would have noticed it

Finishing my loop around this beautiful sports area. This one took a while to spy but then finally there it was … what a sneaky little hide that was. Luckily there was no one around so it made for a quick retrieval, log quickly signed and replaced as found. TFTC Stephyy
I was here with a previous finder. The cache was not where they found it, nor in the similar hiding spots close by. A check by the CO is needed here.
Well, after a short walk this one had me looking ... & looking ... & looking.
Then Mrs VC arrived at GZ and after about 10 seconds said "Here it is. "
Some days I just want to roll over & NOT get out of bed!
Well done Stephyy & Mrs VC!
Made our mark & threw the cache across the oval ... go find it now!
JOKING, joking!
Replaced carefully & exactly as found.
Nice & nasty!

Definitely a favourite point from us here!

After several personal DNFs here, I came today in the early morning for a different light angle - and noting the recent find ...and bingo there it was clear as day! No idea how I missed that ... one of the ideas I had and had checked carefully each visit. But today quickly spotted, extracted, signed. Phew.
Thanks Stephyy for entertaining me at this location.

Out to keep my little personal challenge alive and I just need a couple for today. Seems the closest caches are getting further and further away, lucky the day is getting longer.
I arrived at GZ and after a good look around I could not see the cache. Ok time for a thorough look and keeping in line with the hint I was aiming high. I searched inside and outside and then the ends. Then I spied something that was a little further in. Grabbing a small stick, I gently coaxed out a ring and then the cache. Wow a very crafty hide and one deserving of a favourite point. I signed the log which had just one other name on it and replaced the cache as found.
Thanks for placing this one here, truly a difficult / challenging hide.

I came here several weeks ago, but after spending a decent amount of time searching I couldn’t find the bugger, I contacted a previous finder who gave me a very good clue to where I had to search, nope, nothing, so I contact the CO and they said they’d come down to have a look and sure enough the cache was missing. The CO didn’t have a replacement on hand so it was disabled only for me to try again another time.
Now the cache has been replaced and enabled, I thought I’d try my luck again, I knew where to look and sure enough I managed to spot the cheeky bugger as soon as I arrived at GZ, although I had to be very careful when retrieving it.
Thanks for giving me a reason to stop by.

Checked on this one today after the last DNF but it’s still in place and I can grab this one while standing on the ground even tho I’m not tall.
Couldn't find this one, despite a really really good look around. Again. In fact this is my fourth visit here - albeit the first time I had the place to myself totally. I poked and prodded and climbed way too high for a T1.5, and went away empty handed. No ideas at all. Closest unfound to home so that's annoying ... will keep an eye open.
Haven't had a chance to place the new cache as each time there where muggles two close to it. Will try again in the next few days
Oh dear. Spending time looking for something that is not there is not a good idea.
No luck today, I had help from a previous finder and still couldn’t find it, bugger!
Got a message today and sure enough it is missing will replace once I have brought another one.
We continued our walk on the empty sports grounds after 3 finds to end up here with no luck.
We put the cache on my watch list and return once it has been found again.

A nice quick find with La Kedi being the one to spy it. Took longer to re-roll the log actually. They’re certainly putting a lot of work into this place and it’s looking great. TFTC
What a great facility they’re creating here. There were workers at the building, sawing and hammering away but the area near GZ was deserted and we soon had our hands on the little blighter. TFTC Stephyy
Definitely no sports being played here today, although I love how extensive the sports fields were. A few workmen around, but nobody near GZ. Initially, looking at the satellite picture, we had no idea where this cache should be hidden, but on approach we realise where it needed to be. I made a remarkably quick find given the spot that we found it, and made use of nearby infrastructure to retrieve it. There was a tiny wasp building a tiny nest near the cache but it seemed happy so we left each other in peace. Very squelchy ground, though - I imagine playing here after rain is exceedingly slippery!

Lots of new caches popping up in our old stomping grounds. This was found quickly as part of our target mission in Lawnton and surrounds today.
Out and about today collecting some caches in the area.
This sneaky little guy was found quickly, I liked the hiding spot
Thanks Stephyy for placing the cache here.

Took Nothing, Left Nothing and Signed Log
We headed to a different section of this location to watch other cachers to claim FTF honours on our cache. Once we worked we were in the correct place with the building works that are currently happening at this location, we shortly located the cache and hand the LITTLE beauty in our hands. We quickly added some ink to the cache and replaced as found due to muggles playing footy on the field nearby. Finding this cache brought back a lot of family memories with our late Grandpa. We use to play baseball on the nearby diamond. Finding this cache so close to ANZAC Day means a lot to our family.

I decided today to take a bike ride around Led Hughes sporting complex . After meeting the CO and a nearby new cache i was keen to find these caches. This was my last find here today and I did 3km all up . At gz this one took me ages to spot . I went around and around and around about 5 times before I spotted it. Lucky I had gz to myself. That was fun. Thankyou for all the fun
A few workmen nearby at the clubhouse but none seemed interested in my shenanigans. Wow took a bit of searching for just 1 pair of tired eyes, but found it in the end, just as I was mentally composing my DNF log

Another joint FTF for the night. This one took quite a bit of time to find and prodding and poking at everything and some subtle attempts to undo things we shouldn’t we finally had the goods. Log signed and replaced Tftc
Then we all headed to the next FTF. I park the Ute and then headed to GZ to find the next cache. We walked around and around. The CO was still smiling they couldn’t find it again. Finally it was found and names were add to the empty log. Yippee another FTF. Afterwards a few of us had a chat. To I got phone call from my wife are you coming home yet.

***FTF*** with Swearah, Southpaw88 and Brislions. This was the last one for me for tonight. Having left a half poured drink and dinner not yet started, I was looking for a quick last find to finish off but alas, this one stumped us good. Having made our way to GZ we all began the search. Up and down and up again we looked and looked. Finally, Swearah put her hand on the cache. This one would have been great viewing from Stephyy's point of view as I think we all poked and prodded every spot possible except the one that mattered. This hide is sneaky and would be hard to grab on game day without being seen. Thanks for a great evening of chatting and finds together. Was great to finally put some more faces to names. Keep up the great caches Stephyy.
After our successful FTF at “What a big rock”, Brislions, TeamLambo, Southpaw88 and I headed to this one, with Stephyy in tow to watch the circus
This one took a fair while to find, and there was a lot of talk about how much of the structure we could/should dismantle in our {*FTF*} efforts. All of it obviously, but with 5 of us there, there’d be too many witnesses I guess. Someone always breaks... OK, so no dismantling
Finally, the little blighter was spotted and we signed the nice, fresh log - yay!
After some more chatting, I headed home to eat the lovely dinner my hubby cooked. Note to self - go out for FTFs more often so you get out of helping cook dinner. Why have I only just had this epiphany?!
I am so glad I left my glass of wine at home to come out tonight. Had so much fun with Brislions, TeamLambo, Southpaw88 and Stephyy!
Thanks for the cache, Stephyy!
