Today T-Tech and I headed out for a drive to gather a few caches.

This one had a good collection of favourite points so we made our way here to check out the rock. Somehow it was not quite as big as I was expecting! We reckon we searched every inch of the area but came up empty-handed

We were on a big day of caching, aiming to find 25 caches with unique D/T combinations. The cache was found fairly quickly by Mr STW as it's not entirely hidden any more. Thanks for putting so much effort into hiding this cache for us to make it difficult for us to find.

A sneaky cache. FYI - the plastic container had slipped out of the cache and was laying on the ground. I have jammed it back in and should be secure, but you may want to check. TFTC

Out and chasing caches on the north side of Brisbane. I it but today I had more time. I found a park not far from GZ and a short walk then I quickly spied the clever cache, log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

D 3.5 T 2.0 Micro Traditional Cache

A very enjoyable day with Domsky Dou chasing 6 multis in a day for a challenge they have signed while they attended a Mega way down south, while I was trying to complete my 6th loop. The Young's Crossing was closed today as they released water from the dam. Traffic was aweful at Petrie with all the diversion and road improvement but we still managed to have a good time.

After a thorough inspection of said rock I eventually found this neat little hide. Another favourite point for the collection.

Arriving at GZ at the same time as a family walking their dog I decide to sit on the big rock and wait them out. As I was sitting there I looked around trying to find the cache with no luck. Once the family had moved on I grabbed a stick and started scratching around, but I wasn’t having a lot of luck. Sat back down and surveyed the area again and finally thought I saw something it looked a little out of place. Having a better look, yeah it was the cache, very sneaky! What a big rock ... well I took that literally & surprised a small toad lurking under the rock's edge.
Please leave him/her in peace, it's not it's fault it was born a toad from immigrant parentage brought into this country by unscrupulous money chasers.

Came to check on this today plus I had the new one to attach. This one has changed a little. The old one was sitting on the ground. Knew one has a safety net incase it comes loose

Out to keep my little personal challenge alive and I just need a couple for today. Seems the closest caches are getting further and further away, lucky the day is getting longer.
I parked up on the side of the road and wondered over to this big rock (as per title). I looked around and thought this is not going to be here around the rock so a search of the nearby tree began. I found the cache very quickly as I have seen this one before recently and I recognised the style. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found and I was then off to another just down the road.
Thank you for the hide and the creativity of this one.

This one took me a while as I searched around the big rock and then stood up on the big rock to look a little higher in the tree. No joy. Once I expanded my search slightly, I spotted something that was obviously different to it's surroundings and bingo.

Yes i know the camo is coming off a replacement is in the making. Its still in place till the replace is done.

Out for a ride with Rosie up to Contarf for coffee with friends and then for a nice little loop back through Strathpine for some caching fun. Yes it is a big rock and spent way too much time focuses on the central attraction.

Make sure you smell the caching s, it is not just another number.

Found it by the geowife, after looking at it several times, just like a very evil similar one in SA that we found a few years ago.

Making my way West towards a particular multi that I have my eye on, and this was my next stop... I could definitely practice social distancing here, there wasn't another person to be seen (well not counting the cars zooming past)...

I imagine I did exactly as the CO expected... I inspected the "big rock"... then I inspected the collection of little rocks... then as I was going around (for the second time) I spotted something that wasn't quite right... ah-ha... a nicely crafted cache, but as others have mentioned, some of the camo has come off and it's no longer totally covered...

A truly unique cache... tftc...

I was sure I knew what I was looking for - duh! Sat on the subject and then noticed who owned it and commenced a better search. Took a few minutes when I noticed something that required further looking, still unexpected when it turned to be it!

What an interesting find for an NZer who doesn’t really like bugs and things and in this country some things sting and bite. Thanks for the awesome cache

We were heading out today to locate the rockwall cache in the Industrial Estate near Kremzow Road, when this sport ground hit our eyes with 4 caches! Wow...

This was the first one. A nice tricky hide, and Uwe spotted it. A fav point!

A quickish find between muggles. Interesting camo job. TFTC.

A clever hide Almost in plain sight but it was DisSister’s eagle eye that spotted it. Unfortunately the camouflage is coming a little adrift. TFTC 

Took a little bit of a search to find this one but went through methodically with an open mind until I fortunately spotted the camouflage. Unfortunately some parts are no longer attached, which actually helped me to find it. Fav point for creativity.

Oh, that is very clever! I’ve never seen one quite like this, and although some of the camouflage is coming off, it’s still a very sneaky hide indeed. The geocache name helped us zero in on a search location, though provided no help in finding the cache itself. That was down to DisSister, who spotted something after circling the area numerous times. Very nice indeed! A favourite point from me.

Out and about finding some caches in the area today.
This one was found by Simber15, it was a little difficult to extract the log without the outer part of the cache being effected.

Wow this was super tricky. I was so lucky that Radar 1959 and Dfc-jk2019 stopped to find this cache aswell. I think I would still be there. I had already done a few laps before they came a long and was starting to get a bit dizzy going around in circles. Lol. Have not seen one like this before. Giving it a FP FOR the great hide and all the fun. Thankyou

I had to head out this afternoon to grab a cache for the day and decided to grab one of the new ones that popped up recently.

I arrived after a short drive and started searching, I had a good idea what I was looking for, but after a few minutes of poking and prodding my hope was dwindling so I turned to another method of searching. With a few more circles around GZ and a couple more pokes here and there I noticed something a little odd, I went in for closer look and the sneaky cache was in hand. Woohoo!

What a fantastic hide and definitely one I've never seen before. Here's a FP for your troubles.

Took a little while to find this one but love the container! A lovely joint FTC.

As we got halfway down the road car pull up at GZ. It turn out to be Swearah. Of course another car turn up too. It turn out to be the CO to get some entertainment watch us fumbling around try to find it. Getting attack by ants . Turn Southpaw88 came walking down the road to join in. Lucky for us she made the find. Yippee another joint FTF.

***FTF*** with Southpaw88 , Swearah and Brislions. After a quick find nearby Brislions and I headed to this one. On approach we saw a torch flickering around and another car arriving near GZ. The torch belonged to Swearah and the car belonged to the CO who had come to laugh at us hunting for the prize. We were soon joined by Southpaw88 and a thorough search began. After about 10 mins Southpaw88 came up with the goods only to find the log had vanished. Stephyy sprung into action and grabbed a new log from the car and we set about signing our names. Another unique and great hide from Stephyy. With a larger cache hunting group formed we set off for the last one of the evening.

I was sitting on the lounge watching “Below Deck - Sailing Yacht” (don’t judge me haha) when the notification came through for this one.

Hmmm - it’s very close, should I go? What will happen to the wine I just poured? It’s one of Stephyy’s - let’s give it a crack!

I’d just started searching when I saw a car pull up, so I waved - love a good group search. Many eyes and all that. Turns out it was Stephyy who’d come to watch the hunt on her tricky new cache.

Another two figures walked towards us and I recognised Brislions’ beard. He and TeamLambo joined the search. Not too long after, Southpaw88 joined the hunt, and having brought the best eyes out of all of us, she made the tricky find. Oh wow - Such good camo!

We all had a good chat and giggle after getting our {*FTF*} before heading off to the next newly published cache full of hope.
