This was found in some ways even easier than #2. A short walk in the shade beside the path was taken to avoid the heat of the sun. Once again a short trip through the rough ground near the plantation took me to this cache.
Suscoe was homeward bound today. On the way we had decided to enjoy a little bit of caching in the Pakenham area.It was a mild day and once we had negotiated the C422 bridge closure we found a few caches as we went on our way.We enjoyed a good range of locations and hide. Thanks to KmanNZ for this cache along this walking track.
Took longer than expected to snaffle the 5th in his series, I must have been getting cocky. The co-ords are spot on. Tftc.
Today Neville_devil and I had to drive my Uncle back to his Aged Care facility in Pakenham after spending Christmas in Geelong with is and the Family. After two hours driving I was in need of somewhere to walk and stretch the legs before the journey back home. The weather held of just long enough for us to manage the first five of this series just long enough to give me some driving relief and get the legs working again.Thank you KmanNZ for the series
Took me a while to find as the nav was taking me somewhere else lol. Great hide
I came out this way to find some caches. The only ones I preplanned was this series, so that's where I started. This was a quick find.My thanks to KmanNZ for the cache.
But boggy underfoot but that wouldn't stop us today. Thank you for your placement. Great spot too
Another short stop at the wall. A quick swipe with a random spider stick and the cache was signed and I was back on my way. Thanks for placing this one here.
Found it! Fabulous smell of dog poo! But at least the cache was found quickly. TFTC SL

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to KmanNZ for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Managed to find this one very quickly, unfortunately also found a dead possum nearby though
Just a warning for anyone else

We are on our way the the event in Bunyip and looking for a few caches on the way. Quick find. Again plenty of rubbish in the area. Thanks to KmanNZ for the cache.
DNF - couldnt have a good look due to muggle activity, but also a possum has sadly passed away nearby and I didn’t want to hang around. Will try again a few months from now.
This one took longer than the others in the series to find (so far!), but still managed to find it.

A quick set of geocaches on a very hot afternoon.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this series of geocaches along this trail. Watch out for poop bags as the walkers bag their dog poop and tghen thrown is, along with the bag, into the trees and bushes. Some areas a like a mine field when searching.

Out early today picking up some caches before the event at Mt Cannibal this morning. With a busy hour or two grabbing some caches before heading to the event and then heading to a belated Christmas lunch. All and all was a great little caching outing and can't wait to be back in the area.

*Cache find # 12171.*
I headed out with biggles1024 to find a few caches before ending up at the Christmas Eve celebration event.
There are a few newer caches out this way since I was around here last so it was a good time to have a look for them.
It was now getting closer to the event time but there was still time to have a look at this series.
Mark had already found these except for #5 and as #2 was missing I decided to start at this one which was a quick find and we were on our way.

I enjoyed collecting a few of the caches in this series. It is pleasing to see trails and small parks that have been included in the new housing estates .. perfect for geocaching.. this one was nicely hidden.. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache KmanNZ

We found this cache today on our Officer to Pakenham Morning Caching Run. After skipping #2, we continued on the trail. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Took no a while for the boys to find this one, but eventually there was smiles. Thanks
I’m trying to fill in some dates on my calendar so this one was today’s. Stopped by with the dog after dropping off Geodaughter at school and before heading to meet up with my walking group. It was a nice easy find which is what I needed with the time pressure, and a great intro to this new trail.
Thanks KmanNZ
Thanks KmanNZ
Thanks for the hardish find really enjoyed an difficult some graffiti that we don’t understand
The sun was starting to come out after what had been a very dreary morning so we decided to leave the chores and head to Pakenham an go for a little bit of a walk to pick up this small series. We really enjoyed the exercise and the hides were all well thought out not to be seen by the home owning muggles. Unfortunately we did have trouble with number 2 and even went back for a second look after we finished the last one before declaring it a DNF.
Many thanks KmanNZ for the nice walk and the hides on this very enjoyable little series.

With Restrictions easing once again I could now go caching with My caching Mate Omegaman1971, We were glad the Metro, Regional restrictions were now over, I live in Regional but he lives in Metro.
As always there was plenty of Banter and laughs as we made our way around finding caches.
This is one of the caches We found today. A nice walk along the trail picking up caches
Thanks KmanNZ for the cache.

**Find #4722**
**Traditional Find #2944**
I headed to Pakenham to collect some things I'd bought off Facebook and whilst here, took the time to find these caches. No problem finding most but I did need two goes at finding number 4 and failed to find number 5. I'm glad to be home now and out of the wind.

Found at 1:16 pm.
I was in this area today for an errand and after that had plenty of spare time so I took out the scooter and cruised around the trails looking for caches. Gee it's good mid-week instead of the weekend like I usually cache, there are so many less muggles.
I then headed down this new trail and had a lot of trouble at #6 so moved on and came back to it and ... still didn't find it. Most of the others were located in less than a minute though. It was a nice ride down this trail.
Thanks KmanNZ for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Saw a previous log saying something about the same as the last find....Now is that after the last find from which direction?? Obviously not the same as my direction because it wasn't the same as my last find.... but now I know what to look for when I go for the next one. TFTC
Today we found #3 Officer/Pakenham Trail on our travels. We are enjoying the walk.
Thanks KmanNZ for being part of our geocaching fun.

I was just talking about dinner, when these geocaches got released. No thought was even taken, it was just grab the keys and go. This is my territory after all, but also because we were looking at doing something similar along this new path. We had even scouted out hides.
Hadn't seen any people around until getting to this geocache. Quickly ducked into the bushes during a break and grabbed the geocache. Signed it back on the path while more past me, then returned back during another gap. Time now 5.05 pm.
Thanks for the cache K Man NZ
