This cache took a little time to find...but was spotted by Mrs Moose

Did not find. No reception and map is cloudy.

Weather report is no looking great for later today - so left early for a ride toward Manapouri and back. Ended up turning round at balloon loop road - so about 45 km return trip from the caravan.Trail was pretty quiet so made caching easy yay! TFTC

Took us a while but we got there eventually thanks to a hint in the logs.

Visiting here from Adelaide (South Australia) for the 2nd time (because its just stunning here). Walked from the Control Gates along the Kepler down to the swing bridge, and then back along the bike trail, collecting caches along the way. A 23km walk with a stunning forest trail next to a beautiful clear river.Cache found and log signed.

Cache was a quick find and I decided not to go any further as I was feeling rather tired

In Te Anau with AlpiSteve and after visiting the nearby Virtual (a favourite spot of mine) we made the short walk and found this on our way back to town TFTC

The track up from Queens Reach isn't a place you would want to meet an ebike coming down... they will need to do a lot more fencing on that section before the trail is finished.

We rented a bike in Te Anau. One way on bike and return by shuttle. Up and down, some times walk and many little breaks. On the end of the track, we haved lunch in the old church restaurant.

Next up on my walk south. Round and round the tree i went till of course it was the last place i looked.

A family had pulled up to rest their cycling just after where the path broadened not far back, so i was at first reluctant to have a dig around, until i noticed they were paying me no heed whatsoever.

Walked to this one from the roadway on our way from Te Anau to Manapouri this morning. It was a reasonably quick find. Nice part of the trail at this point. #4869. TFTC.

AliGle and I were doing a bit of a tour around the south of the South Island in a Jucy Camper over a few weeks. Today we spent the day in Te Anau, going out for a few walks and finding a few caches. Found this while checking out sections of the Lake to Lake trail. TFTC!

Found this a shady spot with Vistra. Very welcome on this hot afternoon.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we were parked up at the new NZMCA Manapouri camp site & were spending our time exploring the area, on foot & by bike … this is another cache found in the Lake2Lake Cache Series … this was an easy find, log completed & successfully returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,003 for us.

I have shifted my snail shell to Te Anau from Gore to pick up some of the new caches sinces I was here a year ago.

Parked on the side of the road close to the track and walked it to the cache.

Have been eyeing up these trail caches for awhile now. Yah a trip to Te Anau and the boys are off to golf so a chance to get out for a decent bike ride and pick up the new caches along the way. All quick to find. Thanks Johnv2020 appreciated that you wanted to join my few placed on this trail to make a complete journey.
