We camped on the campground last night and came here to enjoy the view before getting back on the road. Cache wasn't where we first suspected.TFTC
We stayed over night at Townsville LT campground. In the morning we went south to the Billabong Sanctuary. Then we turned around and went north towards Mutarnee. As we surprisingly had some time left and only a short drive for today, we decided to visit Toomulla Beach's beach. There was nobody at the beach. Probably not even crocs. But the cache was found and signed. Thanks a lot for this little traditional cache,Murkel,on tour with Muckel1 30. September 2024 16:11
Bisoutje and I are on our way between Mossman and Adelaide and have stopped here in Toomulla to spend the night. In the morning we took a walk around town to see and enjoy some ocean views. As the wallabys hopped around us we made our way to GZ of this cache with its promised views. The ocean looks great from this viewppoint. Too bad we could not go for a swim because of the warning sign concerning crocodiles. I found the cache rather quickly with which I am happy as this could be a difficilt one as well. Good camo and well measuree coordinates.TFTC!
Would be amazing views here if it wasnt raining! Haha still had a lovely wander over the rocks. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

I spent a lot of time on Toomulla Beach as a kid. Friends of ours had a beach house here. The cache took a surprisingly long time to find for this type of container. Usually I'm pretty good at them. Beautiful views. TFTC
A Christmas cache! (but no pen) a quick find before camping here at Toomulla for the night. Good camo. TFTC
Found this a couple of days ago but waited until the new labyrinth started and I needed to get something other than a traditional for my 400th.
Found this cache pretty quickly thanks to my grandpa who now is really into geocaching and enjoys taking me.

Mr CNQ, ventured out this was way this afternoon while some muggles cleared off from Rollingstone. Found after a short search, signed and replaced, in good knick. Great outlook here even with on a breezy cloudy day. Thanks for another cache BenM70.
We had stayed in the camp down the road so this morning we decided to walk and get this one. Ws walked along the beach for a bit before before returning to the road before back to beach and around to GZ. There were a couple of people fishing off the point. A pretty quick find at GZ then ws walked back along the road to camp.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 96. Tully to Ayr via Townsville. I was back on the road today, so there was not going to be too much caching, but as usual I could not resist a few side trips, and two stops to revisit caches I failed at earlier in the year. It turned into a long day to only go 300kms.
The view off this headland are pretty good. A pity I am not very observant. It took more than one search of the right area before I actually turned up the cache.
Thanks for the cache BenM70

Tried to find it at sunset which proved a bit too difficult so we came back earlier the next day after a day of caching (Maybe we were on a
A great trip over to Queensland.
Was able to put a few smileys on the map.
This was one of them. Now catching up with logging them on the computer.

Thanks for the indeed very nice view. Was in the area, so sure had to give this a try. No trouble finding it and great to have finally a cache after quite a bit of time.
It’s surprising to read such ‘feedback’ though always from cachers well over the 10,000 mark, as if every cache has to be a ‘park’, then ‘read the hint but not the description’ and then a ‘grab’ . This cache is true to its D/T and so other similarly hidden ones in town. Hilarious to ramble over a cryptic hint for a D5 in that cache and then as well in other peoples caches.
That person must be a pro in the kitchen, never burning anything

Heading further north after a wonderful holiday in Townsville, we took a couple of detours to enjoy the coastline and the beaches along the way.
It was a great break not too far north from Townsville and the scenery was beautiful on this perfect day.
Aqua water all around us!
Log signed
Thanks BenM70

A great location, but today being overcast and hazy we could just make out the islands on the horizon - but at least it was cool with a nice breeze.
Took us some time to locate the cache even though there were not many places for the cache to be hidden and the co-ords were spot on as well - oh well you can call us amateurs if you wish
Thanks BenM70.
Feedback: This is the sort of hint that is clever and makes sense and others in the Townsville area should take note!

Just 4 finds today. SWMBO isn't keen to take the RAM on any more 4WD Tracks, and her crook knee means she's not going to do a lot of walking trail ones either. So today we just drove north for some fish and chips, logging caches on our way.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** Ian found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said he should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

{*FTF*} Very early 01/06/21
I'm surprised the FTF last so long on this one but I'll happily take it. Always good to wrap up an early FTF for the month to keep the streak alive. 63 months and counting. Only 4 more to take the top spot in QLD.
This wasn't easy though. Despite having a good idea of what I was looking for, this took some time and effort to find in the dark. But after several circles and repeatedly returning to where the GPS was pointing I was able to make the find. I think the CO must have channelled OzGeoker here.
Unfortunately no views to be seen in the darkness, although I could hear the ocean below.
Thanks for another one Ben.
