Was awesome to get out and celebrate MummaBear66’s Birthday with such amazing company.

First day of the holidays and what better way to start then with an event. The King Lizard was sick so it was just me in attendance. Good to chat with everyone, including the host. Looking forward to seeing all in Townsville for the next QLD Mega event.

So I arrived back from my road trip at 3.30am this morning and then after a short sleep I headed over to meet Green Cordial at her event at Roma St parklands.

A big turnout this morning, the biggest turnout for a visiting Townsville cacher we have ever had. (Ok I was told to write that) but really it was a nice size turnout this morning.

Was great to meet greencordial and to hear all about the MEGA event planned in Townsville next year. I hope to be able to make it and celebrate another birthday at a geocaching event. Many familiar faces and a few newbies attended.

Arrived fashionably late for this one. Sorry about that as we went climbing trees, chasing old caches and walked in circles on our way to gz.

Arrived fashionably late due to getting lost on the lower level of the beautiful gardens.
It was lovely to see such a large gathering of familiar faces and a few new ones, nice fun morning had by all.

Thanks greencordial for hosting this Event and advising us on what is being planned for the Townsville Mega, I'll be there.

Today, I started out the day with Mitchelton Parkrun, before grabbing [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) , and heading to the Roma Street Parklands for the planned geocaching event. We enjoyed a short walk around visiting a few additional waypoints as part of the *Come Roam Around Roma* virtual cache.
In the afternoon, I headed north to Redcliffe for shopping, and spent a few hours around the bay, which included completing the *Redcliffe Convict Trail* Adventure Lab and a few nearby Wherigo adventures.

We managed to arrive just as the CO was spruiking Easter 2022's mega plans for Townsville, which were interesting to hear. We managed to have a chat with a few other attendees, and good to see a few large ducks in attendance also... I even had a quick look/search to see if we could join in the fun with our own duck personality. Quite a few other TBs in attendance too! Thanks greencordial for the event organisation, despite being out of town!
Note that this event logbook was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

The weather forecast had been dismal for today, however the caching gods were smiling very happily on green cordial, our kind host for this event.
It was a lovely turn out of friends, buddies and geocachers. 
Together we planned our attack to attend the mega next year in Townsville!!

First day of the school holidays so why not join fellow cachers in Roma Street Parklands. Yesterday's rain was gone and some unfound caches close by. Some regular caching friends and some new to me attended the pleasant Event. Thanks Greencordial for organising and bringing me to the inner suburbs that I keep putting off. TFTE

A big thank you for the event today. It was a very miserable day but our spirits were high and eager to tell our stories and for the encouragement to attend the next Mega.

It was not very long before we went our different ways and ventured out for some more caches.

Cool! Another croc hunter in town! Met some during the recent Qld Mega. Might be able to meet this T'ville cacher finally!

Might have to swap some notes King Lizard and I are contemplating a Townsville trip for the school holidays.

I’ll pencil in a Will Attend but have some constantly moving plans around that weekend that might interfere with our attendance!
