Thought I'd give it a go, but sadly still no cache. Nice quiet lunch time with few muggles made a thorough search of the leaves a breeze.
We found a toy soldier but sadly no cache. Got covered in leafs and yellow pollen type stuff and received the odd stare from lunch time walkers. But its all fun, Right !!!!!
The Nut agrees, after letting me look for it, he looked where he found it and it ain't there.
Make it be gone.
Make it be gone.
The cache isn't where I found it. I would suggest that the cache needs archiving as the owner hasn't logged in for nearly two years!
Twelve finds for today but this one eluded us. We did find some small action figures on ground near where we thought GZ would be so are wondering if this has gone missing.
This was my only disappointment for my Canberra trip. I had 2 cracks at this one, the second time with a hint and still come up empty. Maybe next time.
Just about to give up on this one, the GPS also had us running in circles and in the middle of the carpark as well. We stopped for a minute, read the logs/clue, thought about the possible hiding spots and after a 2 min search, cache was in hand. Thanks.
This cache had us all over the place for some reason. The GPS wanted to point us to the middle of a car park. Lucky I had my eagle eyed youngest geokid who was the finder for this one.

Found quickly with Tramper Ted. Last of 12 caches found during an afternoon of hunting. The cache name reassured us that we were in the right place as we pulled up in the car. TFTC

Greetings from Canada. The co-ords were right on but the cache was exposed so we covered it well before we left.

Satellites weren't that kind and with all the Nadals, Safins and aging Agasis it wasn't pleasant but the find was found and the deed done.

Container still cracked..but a quick find, a muggle had a little glance at us lurking in the carpark and tripped over a log while staring. We laughed...she left embarassed. Quick find. TN left ball. TFTC.

Found along with misspranx at 6:30 PM. The GPS took us all over the place as we approached it from the west. We ended up in the carpark over the wall before heading back in the right direction. Narrowed down to two places it could be and quickly found the right place.

Fairly busy here today, nice easy find. No possum about today. SLTNLN, thank you
found it after an epic struggle with my gps. was giving me crazy readouts and sending me all over the place.

I lobbed in to GZ to find this cache today
All quiet and I soon had the cache
Advantage If
I took the geocoin and dropped in the Astrolabe geocoin.

16:10 - Not sure who was more startled....me.... or the possum happily sleeping right on top of the cache. Gave the tree a nudge to see if he was alive & YES! He wasn't too happy when I came back after signing the log to disturb him again.

Nice little hide. Found a sleeping possom before the cache which the Gribblet loved. Mrs Gribbly made the actual find. Almost got muggled but survived.
Stopped by to drop off a TB Ball. not as busy as I expected on a great day like today.
It was very quiet on the nearby courts. Found the cache easily enough.

It's hard to look inconspicuous poking around flora in a business suit ... but i did my best. A good, quick lunch break cache.
Found on a weekend of cycling, caching and punctures. Didn't take long, signed log and moved on to the next challenge. GZ was a bit off but the cache was in the obvious spot. TFTC!
Finally came back 2 years later to do this one, and found it almost straight away. Container is badly damaged and full of crap. It must be an anti-clue because you have to do the exact opposite of what it says. TNLN
Our thirty-third of forty-five finds on our second day in Canberra. (66/108 for the trip.)
This cache was the next on the list after collecting Mrs HMF from the markets. A nice easy find in a pretty area. Thanks to The Annimal Cachers for the cache.

Great location. First attempt had too many muggles about. I pretended to take some photos (as a tourist to Canberra, it looked normal), but I didn't find it. Second time was a charm though.

the hint says "dont bend over" but the cache was practically on the ground. It also was plainly visible. Is it in the right place i wonder??? i put it back where i found it and camoflaged it with a bit of leaf litter.

After checking on my nearby cache I wandered down to this cache to log in a TB for a brief visit. There was a person sitting in a car that was parked facing the cache tree, so I couldn't hunt around properly to find the cache (again - already found some months ago), but I did see the moving ball of fluff (aka sleeping possum) in the tree down a bit!
Found at 3:30pm before heading back to the airport. Took a bit of searching to find it, but eventually zeroed in.
Took nothing, left TB Viva Las Vegas
thanks The Animal Cachers
NB the cache container is broken and needs replacing - a piece of plastic is missing around the rim of the base and it is bound to take in water.

Found this one after finding a possum in another tree. I agree about the container needing replacing, though.

I found it easily - Thanks to Ozjeepers for the new log book. Plastic box might need replacing.

Staying in the Capital overnight for a meeting I just had to stroll out for a couple of caches first up. No on court action at this early hour. 0630 TFTC.
An easy find not far from our motel. Nobody playing tennis at 0840 so it was easy to retrieve anf replace. Left a new logbook as the old one was more-than-full.
Spotted by junior (we were looking elsewhere), Canberra find no.2. TFTC

Tennis and Trees was my first ever experience of Geocaching and I really enjoyed it. Went out searching with small group of experienced cachers and learned the ropes, lotsa fun.
Left Last Cache of the Day geocoin. Only pick up this geocoin and move it elsewhere, if this is your last cache for the day.
Attacked this one from all sides at once. We had just gone out for dinner with relo's of Chewin' and talked them into coming on a night cache raid. The cache didn't stand a chance .
Nice hide in a green area. Only two muggle tennis players, and they left after the guy hit a big smash at the lady, at which she stormed off. So we had the place to ourselves.
Thanks, Robmc.

2nd of two cahces for the day as part of my caching run.
Co-ords fluctuated a bit & I checked two other locations (including the one with a sleeping possum who remained undisturbed!) before finding this.
Agree that the container should be replaced before it ever rains again.
Not many muggles about even on the tennis courts.

Found with Bewilderbeest and the juniors on a hot afternoon. In fact the kids were so hot and tired they didn't even want to play on the nearby playground. Nice little hidey hole. The nearby resident possum didn't seem overly pleased by our visit though. TNLN TFTC

The container is broken and, should it ever rain again in Canberra, the contents may get wet.
I decided today would be a good day to cycle around the lake, but I overdid it a bit. I'm sunburnt and have some very sore anatomy! This was the last of my 6 DNFs today to go with 15 finds.
The GPSr seemed to be struggling a bit, and I was running short of time, so gave up after a cursory look.
Thanks anyway, I'll be back again one day.

Dropped off Frogger the Book Worm travel bug. Likes to be near places that frogs like, or near books, or near books that frogs like...
Cool Cache. Caught the bus in with MedicalMarcus and got off at the National Library, it was quite a long trek to this cache and a much farther way to go for the rest of the day's caches. Decided to walk rahter than ride due to the heat. Also the clue was kind of anti-help if anyone knows what I mean.

19th of 28 caches for the day. Determined where the cache was likely to be, but a check showed nothing. Checked another nearby place, again without success. Rechecked the first a little more thoroughly and voila, there it was. No swap was made. Thanks for the cache.
Unsure if my GPS was playing up today because I had several different locations. Never the less after a little determination, found the cache. Took keyring left toy car
This cache has been the bane of my existence lately. It's taken me four attempts to find the damn thing. The clue is currently useless as well, which hasn't helped.
But, I've at least found the thing now and I can stop worrying about it.
The container's on its last legs; it's badly cracked and will leak badly if it gets too wet.

2nd shot at this one. Finally found it!! I'm sure we looked here last time! *grr* Must have been walking around with our eyes closed last time. The log book doesn't have too many empty pages at the moment either.

L - A couple of Yowies
And set free one cochroach that was in it. Hopefully he wasn't a TB.

between the GPS signal droppng out and all the tennis players it took a while but found it by 6.30 pm.
I think the power lines messed with the gps a bit but we managed to get around this and find the cache.
My First solo find, alright spot, saw some funny birds that looked like albine galahs, TFTC
Had my second crack at this one this afternoon. My GPS keeps pointing me at the middle of the carpark, so I have no idea which tree I'm supposed to be looking in.
had to avoid the fitness muggles and the public service lunchtime muggles, but finally found it.
Took a while to find because of the muggles in the area.
Took Travel Bug Dog Tag and left a keyring.
Thanks Animal Cachers.

Found this one as 4/5 today for Shadow! and I. We were on our first serious caching expedition in some time - as a testament to that fact, we even left the geo-hound at home!
Shadow! scoped this one out first. Please note that the cache container itself is really quite dodgy - it is cracked and split all around the lid. I fear it will not last another heavy rainfall.
