Giving up this place for someone who is keen to use it kiwiraf we are trying to do a cache swap together. Thanks.
Spotted quite some possible hiding spots around GL and according to hint, but DNF there.May need some attention by the owner?
**21,872**A short stroll to GZ for the last cache of the night. Cache found out in the open so tucked it back away more securely before we left. TFTC
I set the alarm for 3.30am this morning to allow 15mins wake up time before the half hour journey to drop my kids off at the airport.I then thought I'd try the electric highway cache near the shopping centre near the airport. I've been there many times but there's always been cars parked there so I've never hunted for the cache. I was very pleased it was empty this morning so I could tick that cache off.I then checked my emails and got excited by the possibility of an ftf hunt out Henderson/Swanson area. With them found I picked up a few others while I was out this way.I was beginning to feel my early start so headed back to Mum's apartment in Parnell for breakfast and a nap. Refreshed slightly I visited the Grandkids in Stanmore Bay and dropped off forgotten bits from their recent trip north. With them being under the weather I didn't stay too long hoping not to catch their bugs. This was indeed a lovely spot. Loved the message on the seat too. Nice to end my day here with an easy find before heading north again for New Years. Thanks for the cache
Staying at the Fairway Bay RV Camp for a couple of days so had a little wander. A nice little hide. TFTC
We carried on with our stroll, passed some caches we had found on a previous visit and made our way over to the GZ. There were some muggles nearby so we pretended to take a rest. Once there backs were turned we made a quick grab for this one, signed the log and replaced as we found.
Another QEF after lunch nearby. Looked before and it must have been missing as this was not tricky at all. SL TFTC
Nice easy find after a quick feed in the restaurant nearby. Great location. Found with Gernita and PhilBirdBoys. TFTC.
Gosh this area has changed a lot since i was last here. All the market buildings have gone. Wandered over to GZ & made a nice quick find. TFTC
Saw quite a few fish while out searching, don't be so fast to check the hint like us. What a cute wee marina
First on my morning stroll after staying at the marina RV park. Great day, great views. TFTC
1963. 1:20 pm. A nice spot to sit and have a snack, a drink and a find. TFT(peaceful)C.
Yay. At last a smiley for me with this one. I couldn't find last time but quick easy find today. No muggles helped
Well it was all calm and quiet and peaceful and pleasant today. Not much happening, even the sneaky searching in the sun was slow.... but successful. Cache is all good. TFTC
Had a good Indian meal and after a good hike around the harbour.
Thanks.
Yes is there.

We came north today to clean up a few of our unfound caches on Whangaparaoa. Parking was at a bit of a premium when we arrived here this afternoon, so one of us stayed in the car while the other went to GZ. I began the hunt and spent a bit of time before remembering the previous hide here. After that the find was made. Thanks.
Great hint and a quick find here, not many muggles around now its starting to rain, luckily I brought my umbrella, TFTC
Last one for me for today. Did not take too long to locate it.
It is time for a coffee and treat too.

Out for a walk around the Gulf Harbour marina with AliGle this afternoon. Ignored this one initially, as there was a family having a picnic at GZ. They were gone when we headed back, so we set about searching for this cache. This took us longer than it should have, it was quite well hidden by the grass! TFTC!
It’s always nice to turn a frown upside down and this time it was a nice quick find. Despite a chilly breeze blowing it was time for icecream from the fabulous UK pie shop and then we wandered over to check out the local seal who was sunbathing nearby.
The sun came out after a very wet morning and MrsJAG joined up with Merlot and Supernannny for a trip to The Hibiscus Coast.
Merlot found this in the first place she looked. Then we headed to The Kitchen Door for
a delicious icecream with a tasty chocolate mint sauce and shortbread cookie. While eating the ice creams we checked out (from a distance) a seal basking in the sun near the Seawall.

So today a crowd of 14 Team SEAC members encompassing 10 different caching names travelled north to the park and attempted all caches in the park. Logs were signed SEAC to save space. The weather today was perfect. After the park we found a few more caches in the area. Another nice quick find with so many people looking, thanks Mr NZT.
Team SEAC was out in force today with a mission to knock off the caches to be found in Shakespear Park at the end of Whangaparaoa. This had been on the cards for quite a while now but had always been thwarted by either COVID or bad weather. Today was our fourth attempt at getting the crew together and claiming this area. Having conquered the park, it was time for a few more.
After heading down the other side of the inlet to grab the caches along there for those who didn't get the FTF earlier, we came down this side to clean up here. This cache took a little finding due to the nature of the terrain it was hidden in, but it was indeed found.

After a morning of caching in Shakespeare Park some of the team SEAC team continued on caching as it turns out well into the night!!
Nice quick find for Mr NZT here.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Headed up this way today after one of our group suggested (for the fourth attempt) to take a walk around the park....as we had camped up here a few times before, we jumped at the opportunity, plus it was an opportunity of catching up with the group after being locked down by Covid-19.....parked, and headed into the park.
Now out of the park collecting nearby caches....
Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space.

With Supernannny and Nette who were previous finders and despite a long search, we couldn't find it. I had to appease myself with a real fruit icecream from the pork pie shop. Lovely peaceful spot here despite getting a blue frown
Out in the Gulf Harbour area so took the opportunity to collect some smiley faces. There was a family close by but they were more interested in nplaying with the kids Looked under a lot of weed mat and after reading the old logs came back to the first place I looked and there it was. Thanks G-2
Parked up near the early learning centre to do these 4 on this side, then the 2 on the other side of the water. Nice hide here and the cafe was all quiet because of Covid and stuff. Great story.
A double pronged geocaching attack on the area North of me; first up was a trip to the wonderful Stillwater and get all those here and there caches that have been previous DNFs or just not attempted as too far off the main trail when my companions haven't liked the diversion option. This was followed by a quick dash to Orewa for one before finishing off out on the Whangaparoa peninsula grabbing random caches here and there. Two dozen was the haul and the day was a combination of blazing sunshine and warmth, and Sou-Wester gusts and torrential rain dropping the temp down to low-double digits, strange weather day. Thanks to all (both?) COs for their placements.

Out and about with the elder future finder collecting some smileys before the good weather gives away to rain later this afternoon. I parked up just off Pinecrest Drive and followed the path around to GZ. Bang on coordinates and a clear hint meant that I was soon signing the log sheet. Then it was off to the nearby British pastry shop for a sausage roll and a cornish pastry. Cheers for the cache placement!
Came out with Supernannny to get this newish one . She nearly gave up..... We looked under heaps of weed mat.... but luckily I went back to first place and had a better look and found it !
thanks Glyn.
thanks Glyn.

Being a wet Sunday in Auckland I didn't want to go to far from home and had seen this new one pop up yesterday and after allowing some time for the usual ftf'ers to come and find it, I thought I would come and have a look. Nice blank log book and thanks for another g2 cache.
