Spent the morning at the A&P show, which was a fantastic family day out. Then off to the cool, secluded areas to enjoy a bit of peaceful geocaching. Cache is all good. TFTC
Thank you so much to the stranger that came along we were able to find it cause of you xx
A nice day to go for a walk to get this one in the nice weather.
Quick find at gz.

A fairly quick find this time, perhaps slightly south of the coordinates for us. TFTC
On my way out to Wilson's crossing to watch my grandson play rugby, on tonight because of the long weekend coming up . So a small detour to pick up this not so new cache. A short walk and quickly spotted a likely hide for a cache and yes lucky it was as darkness was closing in quickly.
thanks wombats 4 for placing and maintaining this cache. The ducks that came to see me when I stopped were dissappointed when I didn't feed them. No time for ducks gotta get away to a rugby game.

You were right about the gps jumping around a bit, but it didn't take too long to track this one down.
Thanks for putting this here

A quick find this afternoon while out tracking a couple down for a dot day. TFTC [^]
A week since I was last out (having cleaned up both around where I live and where I work). Missed the outing in the weekend as I was otherwise committed, so the race is on to reach the top of the last mountain in the next week.
Must be a day when the GPS jumps more than usual. Found it just as I was about to give up after expanding my search southwards.
Signed the last spot, though there is half a line left.
Thanks for the cache wombats_4

Cache 957️ needed 2 caches today for deuces as it 2/2/22 so I thought why not go and knock the 2 caches left up north Invercargill off my list so after finishing work I made a Bee-line for the southern half of Donovan park when I parked up I was greeted by a lovely goose but with no food offerings it walked off in a huff….. after struggling with finding the first cache I was hoping for an easy find for cache 2 so I continued my little stroll down the avenue till my GPS Came down to 1m aha a much more obvious hide this time PHEW nice easy find. cache is in fantastic shape, T4TC and the early morning stroll
Found on a 3 day caching adventure into Southland and Central Otago. Staying nearby so a stroll through the park. TFTC
second attempt for this one yah found it today in this nice southland weather. TFTC
With the Event on in Invercargill on Sunday why not make a weekend of it...3 days of caching down South woop woop exploring the outskirts of Invers today and after the "Big I" it was time to head back to the City! A lovely evening so last stop at Donovan Park for a bit of a walk. Didn't take long to locate this one once in the right spot but had to wait for a muggle and her to pass by TFTC
Wandered around for a wee while but soon located cache. Beautiful day for a walk in the park, tftc.
We look out the window and the decision was made to leave the cache mobile in the shead and fire up the boat .
So check the fuel and put on our personal floatation devices on , ooo and don't forget to put the bung in .
We set sail and splashed form puddle to puddle and lake to lake and soon found our way to gz .
Time to go fishing so out with finshing rod and annielin baited the hook with a big fat juicy worm she grabbed when the chicken was looking the other way.
And soon enough the call went up I got one and we reeled it in but looks a bit under size so we taged it and threw it back .
Now to splash on our way .
Getting out and about int the out doors is my happy place so any excuse to go caching.
Life is short. Live one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!!
Thanks for the hide

Well, after the repeated rain , the decision was to try geocaching in the boat.
So bung firmly inserted, and pfd strapped on tight , off we motored....
Splish splash, squish, squelch splodge..
Chucked the anchor off at the likely gz, and then i baited the hook( Someone didn't want to get worm juice on his hands), and went fishing for some treasure.
Wahoo, soon had a snag, and on looking at the catch, it was deemed worthy to be chucked back after tagging its logbook.
Right, off to try water-skiing down Queens Drive!!!

TFTC. Loads of building going on the knee sub division. So had too use stealth to avoid detection!!
A notification that it was a dot day appeared on my watch as work beers were being dished up.
This was the first cache I thought of, so made a detour on my way home.
Parked at 92m, and squished my way to 5m.
Under phone torch light and light rain, i made hard work of it, but eventually found, obviously in the last place I looked.
Thanks for helping achieve another dot.

In town to service the MG. I used to go to Dunedin but as we have a dealership in town got it done local. Only what to do in town for four hours!! Remembered some new caches so off on a walk. About an hour from town but a quick find. Thanks.
Out & about early this morning before the rain settled in. Quick easy find. TFTC
You would have to be here real early this morning for two reasons. The RAIN. It was real wet. Orienteering. The SOC had a midday event. Lots of people in the park chasing controls carrying maps. So as I was not early and got wet in orienteering and it being a dot day went to Sandy point afterwards leaving this for when I am desperate for a quick find.
Saturday night, tone for a nice cooked dinner. After a busy day we thought might be nice to sit down for a Turkish meal, and having just ordered and sat down, the phone went ping, and there’s an email. Decided grub was more important, but decided dessert could wait. Jumped back into tonight geomobile, and made for gz. All good till we found a wide black line on the the ground (oh, there’s a creek). Soon negotiated around that, for a short hunt at gz, and...
Found at 7:43pm (we later heard someone had been 60m behind us, but opted for the next ftf when it popped up on the phone).
Thanks for another short walk along the avenue Wombat, and tftc and smiley
