**22,067**A fairly quick find here by Mr Geckoh. The log sheet was a bit sodden but still managed to make our mark. TFTC

Out with Di having a pleasant time tbh , talking about whatever interests us .Log was a bit rusty but signed it , see photo Tftc
Excellent Hide. Great cameo in a place thats quite accessible. Thanks for the cache.
After dinner I went for a very pleasant evening walk. Glorious weather and not too fot for me at this time of day. Nice one! Found this in the first place I checked. Exactly where it was supposed to be. TFTC, Biggles.
Bapgirl is on a roll today, that's 3 for 3 for her on this outing! A very satisfying find, and conveniently out of view of muggles playing softball. TFTC!
Team G0LD (Geocachers: 0B80B8, Lis's crew and DaffyNZ) are on a one day mission/dash down to Auckland. We're targeting the caches with high favourite points for this month's souvenir challenge. We had a great day and easily achieved our goal as well as got some exercise with roughly 22,000 steps for the day. I'd been caching here before while my kids played Frisbee golf. I don't recall this one from my previous visit but I think I only had 1 grandchild at the time. That would make it about 3 years ago that I was here - well before this cache existed. It was quickly found by Pete. Thanks for another interesting cache hide
Team G0LD (Geos 0B8, Lis & Daffy) on a mission to Auckland today to get enough points for this months souvenir challenge. Higher FP caches were the main target, but we weren't going to pass up any others that were close by either.Rosedale park had a good number of both, so became our next area for today. Another nice cache here, but didn't fool me for too long. Log was quite wet unfortunately but just managed to sign. TFTC
Out with team Gold today (0B80B8 and Lis Crew) collecting some caches in the Albany and Greenhithe area. Nice quick find by the team. TFTC
Great clue but tricky to find container. Nice one! Log too damp to fill in.
Rather damp underfoot here after all the wet weather, but I made a beeline for the hint item and was rewarded with a quick find of the cache. Thanks!
Great find while here for Worlds Softball Championships supporting Australia log needs replacing.
First find of the day. Found a spot to sign in on a damp log on another damp day. Tftc
It is time to get out and about here in Auckland to get the odd cache to keep up with my personal challenge.
I was over here on the Shore visiting some old friends.
Cheers for the cache.

There was a group playing softball nearby and we had to be stealthy so we walked along the edge of the field as if we were about to arrange a prison break with the Mission Impossible tune playing in our heads.
We thought we knew what this one might be and it turns out we were right but we still didn't find it immediately and it was the last thing we checked because it blended in so well.
Another ingenious G-2 hide. TFTC.

Nice easy one! Thankfully afer spending half an hour on a nearby DNF. Fun getting our steps in with Gidgetster
Enjoyed a nice stroll along the fence line guarding the softball pitch, which happened to be in-use today with a competitive women's softball match taking place. Arrived at GZ and instantly recognised this familiar location which contained a nearby tree climbing cache :O I wonder what happened for it to be archived, as it was a real beauty : ( Today, I made a nice quick find in the first place I checked : ) TFTC G-2!
#Road to 1K finds
Seeing I was sitting on 979 cache finds this afternoon, I set out on a big caching trip on my bike around Rosedale and Unsworth Heights where I ended up collecting 21 total finds including 19 trads and 2 mystery's...Some really neat caches up this way and so, so happy I could achieve my 1000th find at GC5CQMJ. Thanks to all CO's for their lovely hides!

A few years ago I played softball up here. It's a nice park. This was a clever hide, but there were only so many places it could be. Not seen this type that way before. Very nice!
Rosedale caching for New Years! Walked past a camper van in the shade and at GZ MrsNZT immediately spotted the hide, love these caches in plain sight. On to the next cache we go! TFTC!
I've finished work for the year so have the day off before xmas tomorrow. Noticing a heap of recent new caches around the shore I decided a day caching the area would be a great idea. This was my first for the day, parked in the nearby carpark and wandered over. A classic G2 camo, surprised not more FP's, gets one from me, cheers
Definitely needed the twizers for this one. I remember coming around here very late at night for a FTF than I ended up dnf-ed TFTC
So very clever. Such lengths to make amazing, fun caches. Great hints as well. Thank you so much.
Seem to remember trying to find this when I was a newbie. It was an easy find today. Tftc
A check of the weather forcast showed that the weather is supposed to be even worse tomorrow. As such, I decided to head out half and hour before sunset to collect these two relatively local hides. However, the weather turned just as I was arriving at the park and it started to pour down. I parked up and made a mad dash to GZ. Once their I missed the hide on the first pass but got it on the second. I ran back to the car and managed to avoid slipping over on the wet and muddy ground. Once back in the car the rain eased off...guess I should have been more patient. Anyway, cheers for the cache placement!
I saw this day was going to be lovely and warm, surprisingly so for first day of August, so at a rather late hour of this Sunday morning I sailed away from home and decided on random caches anywhere around the North Shore.
I remember the other plane view which definitely wasn't in plain view. That was a goodie! A bit of a tree climb to find the cache. But today, no tree climbing involved, but a clever hide in plain view was spotted. Today I'm going nuts over all these cool caches.

Back here again and a different angle on the hide to last time. A really good bit of construction that didn't drive me nuts, thankfully. Added name and replaced as found.
A quick dash out for a couple of nearby caches at lunchtime today and with rain threatening (yet again) it was never going to be a prolonged caching session. I'd noted a couple of newish caches between here and Albany and not being over on North Shore today meant they were a viable target, thanks G_2 again for your efforts. Parked up in the main large car-park and did a circuit of the 2 new ones and a re-visit to a previous DNF (still unfound!).

Although there was a game on the cache was able to be found very discreetly. Thanks for another cache
Even though I was freezing cold, and my feet were soaking wet when I found this I would still rate it 4.6, which is probably the temperature this morning.
Lovely !
Out on our regular Caching Sunday to get these new ones for 3 of us...and a few more older ones for nette1234
Fantastic camo....very realistic indeed.

There was a game going on on the pitch but luckily we were out of sight and made a quick find though this cache certainly does blend in well so nicely hidden in plain view
Meet up with Merlot and Supernannny.
With a game on we quickly made our way to gz. Nice camo.

I was just about to leave the carpark of a business in Rosedale when the notification for two new caches came out. I quickly checked where they were located, not expecting them to be anywhere nearby. I noticed that one of them said Albany, and being quite closeby I decided to have a closer check of the location and realised that the cache was actually in Rosedale park which was only 3 minutes away. So made my way there and I was grateful that most sports had been canceled due to the earlier rain so there weren't too many people around. It did, however, make it a wet walk to GZ as I was only wearing my sneakers, not planning to go caching.
Once at GZ, I spied the cache immediately. Opened the log and found it was still blank. It was nice to get an FTF here.
