Luckily didnt spend too long distracted by other possible places. Simple is best. TFTC
Thanks @familysteiner for placing Deefa71 Golden Ammo Box (1000 Finds Tribute) for the GC community to find !! Found with @tman290. Log signed as T+C.
On Monday 16 September 2024 Geodad and I headed out for some caching. Thank you familysteiner for placing this cache and maintaining it TFTC, found with @ChrisHereSigned as T+C
I was on the wrong side of the tree searching for a while, spotted once I tried the other side.Tftc.
Iris liked the sound of this cache - being golden and all- so decided to leave her here.
Out on a beautiful Sunday cache with geo-sister Elliejay2024. This was a perfect spot to drop a trackable or two so they can continue on their travels. First find for the day. TFTH
Stopped by galleria this morning, and then made our way to the Bushland to check on my trackable hotel. Decided to pick up the caches. Managed to walk the bush in 90 minutes, and collect 7 smileys. Despite knowing I was going to do this in the morning I still forgot my trainers. [Grrrr]. So walked the whole thing in converse. my feet now hurt. A quick find here at GZ
Out and about running some errands and decided to grab the caches in this Bushland while we were at it. Thanks for placing this one
Quick find, very damp log book after the heavy rains. No pen, although plenty of room.
As others had said - someone has taken the box, all the stuff was emptied on the ground. The log book was in a torn zip lock bag, plenty of room left, but mildly damp.
I read the logs beforehand, so I took an old caching container with me that got burnt in a bushfire years ago, giving it a cool rusted camouflage. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I was setting it up that it has rusted through in a couple of places. leaving some pinholes holes. Not ideal, but better than the previous situation.
I put all the stuff inside, and covered it as best as I could with available materials - probably gonna log a Maintenance request for this - replace with a waterproof container and dry out the logbook. I don't know why no-one has done this already...?
Regardless - thanks for the cache - I like these suburban bush areas.

Container was missing, logbook left on ground and is wet.
I replaced the contained with an old one I had, but it has a hole in it (didn't realise til I started putting stuff in it).
Suggest replacing the container, and drying logbook.

As previously mentioned the ammo box itself is missing but the contents are all here. Photo in lieu of a signature because we left writing stick in the car - doh! TFTC
Very disappointed that golden ammo missing.
Not very nice.
Wish I read the log as I would bring container but I didn't, sorry. See photo.
Signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hunt.

Found it. TFTC familysteiner. Came here to do a daily walk and get the smileys but didn't plan it right. I couldn't cross the water where I wanted, then I ran out of time. I'll get the others later. Happy to make the find here of what's left of the cache. Someone has taken the container and left the bits on the ground at GZ Replaced as best as I could and left the log under a piece of wood for better protection.
Out today in the City, catching up with some friends that I haven’t caught up with in some time. Afterwards, I ventured north to clear up some of the caches in the inner northern suburbs that have plagued my map for too long!
Parked up on Widgee Road and hopped and skipped the fences. Just about rolled my ankle though. Quick and painless find of my favourite type of cache. Congrats on the milestone achievement! Cheers familysteiner!

Early morning walk around the reserve to grab a few of the newer caches in the drizzle.
Been meaning to hunt this one down for ages. With a couple of recently published caches nearby I finally got to it. Dropped in a trackable too. TFTC

What a lovely commendation. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the chance to show my companions their first ammo cam. Thanks CO
“Three-eee states in one day” as Crowded House almost sang, one of them being Victoria - quite apt. In the spirit of making lemonade from lemons, Mrs O decided we needed a cache on the way back from the airport after two virtuals in Adelaide (@0420) and Melbs (@0800/0730/0600 depending on time zone). Clothes will be going in the wash after a day of travelling then dragging them through the very wet undergrowth. Happy to make the find and get back in the traffic and home. Congrats to d71 on the grudgingly accepted milestone
Spent the day NOR checking out many hides (and finding them). Not my usual hitting zone, good to see a variety of hides and getting some of the solved puzzles that have been waiting. Thanks to all the CO for putting out and maintaining their hides.
I'd been out picking up some caches in the hills today but the last one on my target list was a DNF... and no-one likes ending on one of those! So consulted the map for another cache to stop off at somewhere on the drive back home. This one looked appealing as it was spoiling my map It was dark by the time I got here so parked up near the closest entrance, pulled out a torch and off I went. Even in the dark this was a nice easy find. A bonus on the walk back was a friendly bandicoot who didn't seem fazed by me on the path at all. I watched him for a few minutes before leaving him in peace. No problems here today, a nice quick find. TFTC
Congratulations Deefa71 on your Golden Ammo can. We are happy to log our find.
Needing a cache to fill my June JASMER I detoured here on my way home from nightshift. TFTC
Thanks familysteiner for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Well done on the milestone! I’m sure most of them were forced

After an early morning run out to the Avon Valley National park to find out last 2001 cache anywhere within a days drive we headed west to Joondalup and caches our way to the city, before heading south to Mandurah to help cleanup a few unfound caches and a large number of hides that were released this morning,
Thanks to the local COs, a great day out!

A nice little walk with e geokid and geodog to find this very special cache by familysteiner. This is true dedication to mark a milestone for a fellow cacher. Thank you for this opportunity to discover more of the Perth surrounds and parks.
Post lockdown, but still in masks.

Huge congrats on your 1000 finds Deefa71. You better watch out or soon you’ll be calling yourself a geocacher! Nice place for a little stroll and no one else around so it was a mask free stroll which was even better.
Thanks familysteiner for the hide.

{*FTF *} @ 12:40. We had business to attend to in Morley so when that was concluded took a a little detour. We were most surprised to see that our impromptu trip NOR resulted in a blank log. Nice container. Congratulations to the Deefa71 Uber service on his 1000 finds. TFTC familysteiner have a favourite
