This one had been damaged again. The location obviously isnt ideal as this has happened too often in its short lifespan. Ill think about another location.
Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

With the cache loose in its holder, i have to admit I took the easy way and cheated on this one. The puzzle for me was getting the lid off! TFTC
Grabbed this one while passing, extracted log and replaced as found. (bit loose in it's holder)
Took a trip out to Bushland Beach today as it has a variety of cache riches; some field puzzles, a couple of Earthcaches and some solved puzzles in Greencordials 'book series'. We were on a relatively tight schedule, or morning work-up for Knottsav and I meant some tasks needed completing before departure, and he's off to the airport after lunch ready to leave tomorrow.
Standard appreciation, thanks to the COs and some good ones today, especially the field puzzles, and an unexpected LBH that wasn't on my map for some reason.

We called here today to have a look around and get a few smiles in the local area. Walked down the beach track and soon found what we were after. Found cache had been tamperd with. Lucky for us, we had water with us..took photo of our log entry to show we completed this
Looks like the fastening had been twisted again.
Reset as intended.
If it goes again, it may have to stay gone.

Found lying on the ground, I believe this is Not as it’s meant to be, took ages to get it open and leave my mark TFTC
After the last log I secured the cache tonight as intended to prevent shortcuts.
Happy hunting.

Reading the cache description we had a pretty good idea what would await us here and what to look for. We ce prepared but unfortunately the cache has been damaged in a way that it is easily accessible without the fun. Ah well so be it, we signed the log and are off to find some more caches along this beautiful beach.

Found while exploring the local lunch dining options in the beautiful breeze this afternoon.
Bit tricky to get open and took us a bit of team work to figure it out.

Picked up a couple of 'special tools required' today, not enough to meet a SEQ challenge but some steady progress for this year or next. Managed to retrieve on first pass with enough water left in the container after some spills on the back seat of geo ute. Always a fun cache, and a loteasier than a similar one in Cairns, thanks again Burgo.
Found it after a dinner at the pub. I really wanted to do the nearby puzzle cache dedicated to the biggest cacher in the area, but unfortunately the clues left me with a confused face much like Jack sparrow’s. Anyways, I found this cache belonging to the biggest cacher in the area, so fair trade I reckon. Tftc and your dedication burgo78
Friends in Hobart are the COs if a similar cache "Adam's Ale". So after scouting this out the otter day we came back armed with the necessary equipment. TFTC
We came to a nearby location for a browse through the Markets this morning & went for a beach walk. Thinking we haven’t geocached for awhile I opened my app & to my surprise we found a new arvo hide we weren’t aware of. GC hide found easily due to the keen exploration eyes by MissCharlieBear. AmazingGracieGrace says this is a scary forest
We weren’t prepared with the required TOTT to retrieve the GC to sign the log, so we will come back at another date.

I met the recently departed greencordial and she gave away the CO’s secrets on what had to be done here. It didn’t take a great deal but was way more than what apparently Townsville’s newest archived cache would ever have gotten. Easily done and wading was kept to a minimum
We said goodbye to the last of the refreshments that we had in our backpacks, but that was not too much of a problem as we are almost back, and also there is a bistro near where we parked the car.
Nearly time to stop and have a rest.
A lovely field puzzle. A gecko floated up before the cache did!
Thanks Burgo78

On holiday from west oz. Out with the geotackers ( grandies ) . Good find for them. Have now cultivated a geocaching interest in the little people.

Found while in Townsville to attend the Mega event.
I travelled up from Adelaide, taking a week or so so get here, meeting up with FeatherWaite to do some caching around the Cunnamulla area then continuing on to Barcaldine and Charters Towers.
While in Townsville I teamed up with Budgietas, Stainless-steel-rat and Gooseandegg on some days, including a day on Magnetic Island, and with Davidwazza at other times. When caching with Davidwazza, logbooks were signed DWEG1.
All in all it was a great week or so in Townsville, with plenty of great caches found.
Thanks burgo78 for the cache.

Back here with BenM70, Willis007 and water (now that would be a good caching name)! I was not prepared last time. I should probably should read description. I did not get paid out much by the CO about that. Thanks for the cache Burgo. Can’t wait for our Rocky trip
Couldn’t just do an event on my birthday so I popped down after it to grab this lonely cache. Not many finds on it, so we added willis007, greencordial and the Birthday boy. Cheers burgo78 for another cache out at Bushland Beach
After the event and some dinner, I wandered over with greencordial and BenM70 to take a look at this cache.
We made short work of retrieving this one were soon signing the log.
Thanks for the cache Burgo78.

Sadly this one was missing so I’ve replaced a short distance away where it should be a little safer.

Hmm, found some supporting tools, also noted the presence of utilised protection item package. Maybe h20 used as well
Another day caching around the Townsville area. We went to get some shells and fish-n-chips so we could honour a friend that recently passed away. We also found a few caches on a round-about way back to our camp site.
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the novelty value, exacerbated by the low tide!!
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny
