#13636 15:15A Sunday driving running errands and picking up a few caches along the way. We paused at Pemulwuy for a walk, visiting the caches along the way.TFTC
Not much time for caching in these festive days, so had to dodge the rain and grab a few today while shopping in Sydney.TFTC Wilbert67
Nice find after a nearby DNF. Patience finds the cache even in the dark, armed with a torch. With five TBs in tow: Cheetah, Harmony Smurf, Canadian Flag, Dosenjger and Dog Tag (with his green soldier tugging the tag all the way).
Haven’t been out for a while, so was glad to find cache #272 @10.59am. Bit hesitant to go bush, quick find. SLRC as found. TFTC
Yeah, on top of the hilly world! Look at wrong places at first, then decided to look somewhere else and soon had cache in hands TFTC
Decided to go geocaching this morning with my wife.As she fancies a steak sandwich at the cricket's Arms, we thought we'd check out these caches as their fairly local.
Beautiful morning to be out caching. While I was waiting for my GPS to settle A big cry went up from my wife who was investigating ,I thought but she's almost stepped on a SNAKE again! But this wasn't, a red bellied black, more a Brown bark coated twig! Thanks for maintaining the cache.

Tftc! A top find. Took longer than it should have. Scratched around a bit on the fence which was wrong
It has been a long while since I started this series. Somehow, just never around to finishing it...until today. TFTC
Feel like I’m on top of the world with a few caches up our sleeve this morning.
Great to be able to put a smiley here thank you

OCW Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. Second find of the day, Shoes Junior and I made the grab. TFTC
Second find for the morning, Little Shoes and Shoes Junior made the grab. Signed as The Shoes x3, TFTC.
Just trying to catch up logs from the past couple of weeks, apologies for the delay.
OCW SueDan83 on our bikes, exploring the Pemulwuy area - a great location for cycling!
A short hike and we were certainly on top of the hill! Managed to approach from the right side to make a quick spot. TFTC!

Nicely placed. Nice pathway to cycle. Very few people using it today. TFTC DarkAvengerx
We were driving past, and had a little bit of time up our sleeves. Thanks to accurate coords the cache was a quick find. Thanks DarkAvengerx.
Found in much better condition than the floofy one. The card is quite faded but I could just make out the words. Thanks DarkAvengerx.
Found It!
Walked to this one after finding somewhere to park. A quick find once I was at GZ.

Heavy rain again forecast for my trip home after a family function over the weekend but thankfully the sun shone long enough to collect some smileys along the way. Choosing an area that didn’t require too much of a detour or petrol (prices crazy atm!), selected Pemulwuy as my target. Feeling quite exposed at a busy intersection and covered in more farmers friends than I’d like. However, a quick and easy grab helped with a smiley.
Not where I thought it was but good find. Unfortunately the log is soaking wet and will need replacement.
Decided to visit this area with ilook4geo and was able to park near each of the target caches. This was a nice quick find and both names were soon added to the log to keep things in order. All good with the container and log. Thanks go to DarkAvengerx for placing and maintaining this series of caches around the Pemulwuy area
This series of caches was next on our to do list, so came along with goingplaces2 for a look.
Found 10/11 targets and stamped the logs. No problem here. TFTC.

Started to rain before the heavens opened up whilst signing the cache, returned and ran to the bus shelter.
Located at 1:23pm. #1123.
Noticed that I did not have a find for the 24th December so set out to rectify that. Decided on this option and parked down the side street opposite and headed over.
Normally I am very nervous about caching in an exposed, high traffic area but today I did not mind as much and was able to search around GZ without as many worries about muggles.
I was not sure the type of container to expect and so searched out several options before landing upon the cache and making the necessary manoeuvres to retrieve and inscribe my name upon the parchment before returning as found.
Merry Christmas to all!
Спасибо большое! תודה! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement DarkAvengerx!

Hmm this suburb has strange parking and finding one near GZ this morning was quite difficult. After leaving the geomobile I had a bit of a walk to GZ where I was indeed on top of the world, well the world of Greystanes at least.
I did find the signs around the area a bit off putting!
(see attached photo)
However being as its rather cool and the ground is quite damp today I fortunately did not see any!
I did see the cache though. I wonder if passing traffic can see you here? What would they think people are doing up here?

Headed west today to grab some of the caches in the Pemulwuy Series plus a few others. I enjoyed the series and most caches were found relatively quickly. Thanks for this series DarkAvengerx.
After having found 'Floof', we walked over to this one, which was found after a short search.
Our furthest venture out since release from Sydney Covid locko! We started here and were puzzled by the answer in the cache to which there was no question! We soon saw DarkAvengerx’ explanation so simply recorded and moved on. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

#8163 (2 of 2 today)
It's been over three weeks since I've been out caching. Doesn't time fly... NOT!
Amazingly, my own caches have been regularly getting finds during lockdown. No idea how far they've come for them, but they're not names I recognise.
I've been resisting the urge to clear that 10 kilometre radius, while noting the places I can still legally go. And so after days and days of walking the same bush tracks near home - and noting possible new cache GZs, I finally caved and headed right out to the limit for a few finds. And I have a few new trackables that need to visit a cache or two!
So arrived here, with mask on and sanitiser close at hand, and walked a few kilometres while I picked up two caches - that haven't been found for a while now. Talked to no one (just a nodded greeting to other walkers), and didn't go indoors - that's the way of things these days, unfortunately.
Don't expect I'll make any more finds this month, although there is an Adventure Lab only 3 kilometres from home...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Decided to grab my second find today near my first.
Again I remember grabbing a cache very close by. I should say that this is a better placement than the old one.
Got to GZ and little did I know I was standing so close to it I couldn't spot it! Relocated, but still didn't see anything. Walked back to my original location from a different direction and sighted it!
Completed signing duties and replaced - taking note of the clue.
Then off for more walking exercise before heading back to *The Hademobile*.
A favourite covering both of today's caches for actually being close enough to be able to find!

Re: the extra "info" found in these caches -
Unfortunately due to the lockdown, I wasn't quick enough in publishing the other caches in this series and the reviewer has denied my submissions that occured at the same time as the lockdown. How convenient..
Anyway, do what you want with the information - just know it is apart of something bigger that has yet to come..
Im not sure when they will be allowed to be published, but as for now the rest are sitting in limbo til they start approving again.
Thank you xo
