Checked this park today again unfortunately ground zero hasnt been replaced yet. Will check it again next week
The structure here has seen better days - time to disable this one until its replaced.
1MinnieMoo had brought me home for the week to spend some time joining her on adventures. I was very excited as she promised to introduce me to Geocaching. But then, her day off this week and it was rainy! That doesn't stop 1MinnieMoo tho. She just had to be careful to not let me get too soaked.1MinnieMoo had an idea about this hide - until we pulled up next to it. Ohhh Noooo! What has happened here? A kookaburra wouldn't have done that! Luckily we got a bird's eye view tho and spied something still safe nearby. We were still able to find the cache. Thanks for the cache Dfc_jlk2019. Wait until I tell the kindy kids about this!Kookaakakakakakaka
22/11/2023 Find #6721Wacky Wednesday and wet weather. But Charlie Kookaburra had come home with me from work for the weekend and was keen to find his first caches. Oh dear! Did someone try to make this a drive-thru cache? We pulled up here and were surprised to see what had happened at GZ. We wondered if the cache would still be able to be found but a quick glance soon had us our find, just not how the CO would usually intend it. Thanks for the cache Dfc_jlk2019.
Fairly quick find here today. Not exactly what I was expecting.First find on a solo adventure this morning.TFTC!
Walking around near where we bought a car for the geo-daughter. Time to stop and grab a cache while here.Had to wait for some muggles also in the area, but got it done.Cache is in good condition and the log now has my name on it!Thanks for placing this....
Miss T found this one but was struggling to get it out. She used my pen. Then got my pen stuck in the same place. So, a stick, a cache and a pen....cache signed and returned.
That was extremely difficult to get out, took several torts to do the job , not sure if it was supposed to have a magnet but there was none there. Thanks for the cache now the long walk home
TFTC I found this ages ago but forgot a pen to sign
And finally went back and did it.
And finally went back and did it.
Came to the northside today to find caches with particular attributes for challenges. Just realised that I signed them all with tomorrow’s date!
I continued walking from Pull My Finger. I had an appropriate tott to retrieve the cache, log signed and cache replaced. Tftc

I wasn't sure what TOTT was the correct one, so I jumped out of the car with my fishing TOTT in hand. As it turned out, a much easier/more common TOTT was required. It wasn't long before I caught sight of the cache, and then a natural TOTT was sourced in order to assist with extraction. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Dfc_jlk2019 (and MummaBear66) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
----------
Today, it felt like a mini-marathon of high-Terrain adventure geocaches. The morning commenced with a Bracken Ridge technical tree climb that changed to a ladder ascent, followed by a small handful of fishing TOTT caches, and then a jog into mosquito-infested Tinchi Tamba Wetlands to conquer the [The AuNZmer Challenge](https://coord.info/GCA8HKR) cache. It was then onwards for a paddle in South Pine River catching up with a friendly group as per the [Kayaking South Pine River](https://coord.info/GCABTBE) event.

Out and about grabbing a few caches on the Easter long weekend. This is a nice spot. TFTC
Dfc_jlk2019 I found your cache David Hopkins Place on 6/1/2023, 3:35 pm. This is my find 4626 and find # 11 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Finally after months of illness, work, and uni I have had a very rare weekend to myself in which I can catch up on logging caches and actually get out to get some more, and experience that 'outside' fresh air people keep telling me is good for me.
I wanted to start today by grabbing a few near home and then heading over to find a few of the solved puzzles I have.
Very quick park and grab here. Cache and container are all in good condition. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC.

The log in this cache was replaced today while on our way home from the shops nearby.
After a pen, I reckon my tweezers are my most used item in my caching kit. They came in handy here. Log is full. TFTC
I made a quick find here and retrieved it with the help of a handy cable tie. Thanks for the cache
We are currently away and will check on this local parks series when we get home.
I came over here, proudly carrying my tree fishing pole, only to start looking around at the trees and wondering what was going on…
It took a minute to realise not every cache with the ‘requires special tool’ attribute is a tree-fishing cache: it just seems like it at the moment.
After finally spotting the cache and realising what was needed, a handy tool presented itself and I could extract the cache reasonably quickly and quietly.
All is good inside so TFTC.
Hopefully the neighbours weren’t too bothered about why I was lugging a pole around for no apparent reason.

DeafPhantom and I decided to find some caches that required a tool to complete Georodes August challenge . We both needed 6 to qualify and we managed to get the 6 needed today. This was our fifth find and we used team work to retrieve this cache which was fun. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
This was a quick park and grab on our day out caching for International Geocaching Day. TNLNSL TFTC
Another play day planned with geofriends out Dayboro way but sickness changed that. So its just Peppa and I hitting the Moreton Region to find caches that help us on our way to qualifying for a few challenges on the Northside.
Made our way to GZ where Peppa found the container but was having a hard time retrieving it. Some ToTT's I had just didn't cut it, so a scrounge around the garden and I had the right size to retrieve the cache. SL then returned as found. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box.

I met up with Selva Girls and CuriousQuest today to pick up some caches in the area and this was one of them. Once spotted the cache was soon in hand, log signed and all returned as found.

The original plan for today was to tackle Dayboro… again… but with one of the team feeling unwell, a change of plans was called for… Patrol14 and I settled on Moreton LGA (for another challenge) and spent the day chasing anything that required a Special Tool (yet another challenge) or anything shiny that caught our attention…
After pulling out every special tool I had in the backpack and failing to retrieve the cache… it was Patrol14 and a stick that did the hard work…
Tftc… it’s a popular spot here today…

Out to get a few more caches in the Moreton Region today and this one was on my list. Parked right next to GZ and spied the cache and a few walks back and forth to the car to get the right TOTT to do the job. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
When we pulled up I immediately started looking for the playground to take some photos. When I couldn’t see any play equipment I said to Mr Woodyrothwell that this was the most busted park I had seen. She politely responded that this was a “place” and not a “park”.
I didn’t want to argue over semantics because that’s not an argument I can win against my wife. I’m not sure there is any argument on any subject matter I could take her down on. I just had to tuck my tail between my legs and get on with the find. tftc

Many Brisbane caches are not suitable for visitors because of tort requirements, but this one is quite feasible for visitors who forgot to include tree fishing equipment or ladders. TftC
I had just finished coffee with the CO and set off riding back home collecting a few caches.
Arriving at GZ I didn't examine the situation thoroughly enough and reached into my Bike Tool Kit for something to assist with my search. Hum well this is not working so re-examined things, now I get it.
I was on the show pony today and travel light, nothing I had was going to be useful to assist. Searching around on the ground near the fence line i found the perfect thing, in fact an essential bit of kit in my Mountain Bike saddle bag.
I little wiggling and presto.

Once the rain event is over, the river goes down and we have sorted our house once we finally get home. We will get some containers sorted then we will head out and do a maintenance run right throughout our Local Parks Series - Pine Rivers
We have disabled this listing until then

Dragged out my gadget pack to select the appropriate TOTT to retrieve this one. I like reading the tributes to the locals that have done good things and deserve these parks named after them. Much better than politicians!TFTC Dfc_jlk2019
The geomobile was in ICU at Albion today, so I decided it would be a good time to hop on the train and do the All Aboard AL. With that completed and coffee and cake sourced I now needed to pass some more time before the car would be ready.
This was not too big a walk and there were a few others nearby that I could do too. With the hint there were not too many places this could be, so a nice quick find.

A drive over to Strathpine this morning to collect a present for Maddies birthday. A few new caches have popped up in the area since I was here last that I can collect for my troubles today. This was the second one on my short list. I parked up and walked over, a look around and now knowing this style of hide by the CO I found the hide very quickly. With the log signed and cache replaced as found, I was off to the next one on my list. Thank you for the hide, looking forward to more hides.
Pretty muck what I imagined, & where. Some sratching about soon had me signing a nice, clean repalcement log & T4TC
Couldn't find this one will be back to give it another crack once it has been found by someone else first.

I headed to the posted coordinates and that was when the yappy dog on the other side of the fence determined that I was too close to its territory and just didn't let up. I walked away to check on another cache and I had the same experience when I returned. Along with the noise of the crunchy leaves I was not inclined to have more than a cursory search. Did I mention that I hate yappy dogs?
Fortunately several new caches have started popping up not too far from home and seeing that I need one for a challenge I decided to head out straight after work to grab this one.
As I drove past GZ I was confident I knew where the cache would be, however when I walked over towards GZ that wasn't the case and found the cache in the next possible location.
Thanks for giving me a reason to visit today.
