We searched for quite a while here and made a cuppa while we waited for a few people to pass by. Just as we found the cache that had been tossed into the bushes, Lt_Dan_47s dad popped out and said that he though the cache was lost as it wasn't in its intended spot. After a quick chat, we left the cache with Dad as it was wet inside and the logbook soggy. He will dry and replace in the correct location. We set off early to make our way from Rutherglen to Gembrook to help a family member move house. We've done this trip several times over the last few weeks and to make it seem less of a chore, we make sure we find a few caches along the way. Funny how a 3.5 hour trip quickly turns into 8 hrs.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU.
Found this one on the way home from the choclatory. Quick find as we tried not to be spiked. TFTC
Just passing through, thought Id drop in. My god those things are spikey I could see it, so there was less pain than expected. TFTC
Our first ever geocache as part of my husband's first ever fathers day! He held our 3.5 month old while I delved into the spikiness and found it! Was a really fun but simple first find. Very excited to do more together!
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. It was Omegaman’s Birthday today so I drove up from Warragul to catch up and do a few caches. Not a fan of caches in sword grass always walk away itchy and have got myself in the eye a couple of times over the years.
Thanks Lt_Dan_47 for the cache.

Out and about with Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map and having some caching fun.
After a quick Bday breakfast we hit the road for a few local caches. Have always absolutely loved this town.
Cheers for the cache

A peaceful spot here today. Thank you Lt_Dan_47 for placing and maintaining Chardonnay Estate Park! for us to find today.
Passing through Yarra Glen we decided to quickly stop by to find some caches. This was a nice quick find. TFTC!!
After a lovely lunch at St Andrews market, it was time to top off the day with a Brownie festival. Being the dedicated gwocachers that we are, we had to find a cache or two along the way. Geodaughter jumped out to grab this one, but didn't have much luck until I got out in the cold cold wind and stood behind her. Then she made a quick find. The kids were delighted with the swaps. Thanks for the smiley! TFTC
But if hunting in the dark, but got there. Sandwich bag has a split in it and may need replacing so the log doesn’t get wet. Tftc
In the area for an arvo of caching with quiet1_au, we had scored an FTF on the new puzzle near Lilydale airport and now were finding caches around this area. This was a pretty easy find by q1. Nice large cache, nice playground, thankfully no-one there

An afternoon caching run with G&J GJMMelb after a joint puzzle/mystery FTF, this one took only a few seconds to spot, being rather exposed and not camouflaged. After logging we put it back out of obvious muggle sight where I suspected it should have been hidden. TFTC
I was in the area with [@Kristysadventures](http://coord.info/PRXNC6Z) when we stopped to grab a quick cache. Quickly found and signed. TFTC
Hello autumn sunshine
It’s the perfect combination- warm weather, craft market, now a geocache before an ice cream stop with
Amandaberries
Spikes! Yikes!
Perhaps that is what is preventing this cache from being taken as it seems quite exposed in the spiked bushes.
Thanks for the cache.

Fun cash had to put some woollies in there not that hard to fined but cut my finger on leaves
Found this in a lovely area whilst exploring the vineyard hillsides. Left a TB, took a TB. TFTC!
I was in the Yarra Valley today with the main focus of finding the [Spread the MEGA-Love Challenge (GC58NTE)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC58NTE), however I figured I would make it into a bit of a mini caching trip and grab a few other caches around the area.
This one was my second stop. The park was empty today, but there were alot of muggles parked near the entrance. I had to wait a bit for one car to leave, so I could make my approach. Once I arrived at the posted coordinates and I saw the size of the cache I had a rough idea of where to look.
However, it still took a few minutes of searching, before my eyes finally laid on the cache. I grabbed the cache just as I heard a muggle leaving their home to head towards their vehicle. So I slowly snuck away to one of the nearby park benches were I could log in peace.
I ended up finding and taking the [Get me home I (TB9G59B) trackable](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=dc84eb43-8176-4e1c-ae0c-f500eedb08ef), as it sounded like it would be best to get to metro Melbourne to grab a plane, so I ended up leaving behind the [HQ SCB #1 (TB8R6A8) trackable](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=f3a1ad3c-1e29-495f-a1ac-a7ca386dad53) from another cache I found the other day as a trade.
Thanks for the fun today and TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in great shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

On each day of our Yarra Glen holiday we have started it with a coffee in town and then a local cache. This was the last one we could get to to without a kayak so I don’t know what we are going to do tomorrow. We will just have to enjoy a coffee and dream about the plastic.
There is another cache in town but it requires a kayak to find so it will have to stay on our map for a decade until we holiday here again.
I tried bringing a kayak on holiday but the geese at Brisbane Airport weren’t having any of it. I tried putting a kayak in my suitcase and the check-in computer said “no”. Then I tried to stash a kayak in my pants pocket but the x-ray lady at security told me off and then asked for my phone number. The spikey plants at GZ were on full spike today. tftc

I was able talk the (very) reluctant passenger into stopping by for a look for this one. After finding a shady spot to park, it wasn't long before I was signing the log at 11:35 to open its, and our, account for **2023**.
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks and Happy New Year Lt_Dan_47.
**PS:** There was no sign of the *[Possums tractor](https://coord.info/TB9B3XX)* trackable in the cache.

Out and about on this lovely day, well, maybe for ducks…
A quick find but not so easy to turn around with a trailer on the back.
**Thanks for placing this cache Lt_Dan_47**

Was in the area today for a wedding, and decided to stop in and grab this one.
Cache was well out in the open, but it has been given a bit more camouflage now.

After visiting Melbourne for work, I decided to take a more scenic detour back home. This was the first stop for the day and I was left amazed at the beauty of the valley and the town. The cache was quickly spotted and it was great to find a decent sized container hidden in an urban area. TFTC!

It was a beautiful day today so wandered around collecting the clues for an Adventure Lab in Lilydale .. not quite close by but near enough to chase down a DNF .. we were unable to search for this one last visit as a nosey neighbour was keeping an eye on us. Not today! I had the park to myself and not a neighbour in sight.. thanks Lt Dan 47 for placing the cache.
I was passing this way today heading home from an event in Whittlesea and stopped off to find a cache.
I parked on the service road of the main road rather than try to navigate the serpentine streets of the estate, and followed the path alongside the schoolyard to the reserve
A surprisingly large container given the location, and it was very visible as I approached.
After signing I tucked it away a little better to hide it from muggle eyes.

Catching up on some very late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
This was a quick find, once at GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoyed finding it.

Heading up to Eildon/Alexandra for the weekend. A slight detour to Yarra Glen to pick up this one. Thankfully not too many scratches here today. Will be back for the other two once they are replaced.
Thanks for bringing me here today by placing this cache, Lt_Dan_47

A quick grab after attending an event at the racecourse. Very spiky plants indeed.
After visiting a friend nearby today, I called by and found this cache. These spikey plants are my most hated areas for cache hides, but it's nice to have another smiley face on the map.
Thanks Lt Dan 47

Out for a drive, we were passing by here and stopped for this quick find. Cache in very good condition. Thanks Lt_Dan_47

A quick find while taking pleasure in getting my Geocaching vehicle back from the mechanics and playing the old game of Archived, schmarchived with yet another series I'd not completed in time.
Thanks, Lt_Dan_47 for a good sized cache. Well worth the slight detour.

On way to Wangaratta Mega, we had a great time finding your cache Lt_Dan_47, thank you so much for placing it.
Stop here while on way to Wangaratta with Crank1. Lt_Dan_47, thank you so much for placing it.
While we were out this way Bunadoorian and I decided we would come and try to find this cache. Cache was found easily and we took it over to the nearby bench to sign the log. Lovely to find a large container. TFTC Lt_Dan_47.
Grub62 and I were in the area looking for geocaches to find and this one was nearby and not on the main street. Grub62 spotted the cache after a short search and we went to a park bench to sign the logbook and admire the views. TFTC.
Intended to stop by and search on our way to Seymour.. unfortunately for us, a neighbour stood on the corner and pretended not to be watching us but he was … hope they haven’t taken the cache .. will be watching with interest . thanks Lt_Dan_47 for placing the cache.
This one had me waiting a looonggg time for two old locals (both doing the Sat morning dog walk) to finish up a chit-chat...soon as that was over I had this in my hand. tftc
Found with icw. As we negotiated the local flora looking for the cache two Magpies came to see what we were doing. Fortunately icw had brought some home-made bread, which impressed the Magpies. Tftc.
Prickly grasses but easy cache to find. Also a nice family of Magpies with whom we shared our daily bread and they enjoyed it. TFTC.
Outside after lockdown visiting my parents. Ducked away for this new cache in great condition. Good to see a large old school hide!
