Couldn’t find it, thinking since it hasn’t been found in so long it might not be there anymore? We’re looking for a while and both of us are height inclined
No luck today. Obviously high up somewhere but I could find nothing out of place. Oh well
Found in the last place we looked . The coordinates might be a little off but I had a look in the most obvious place first anyway and there it was. TFTC?
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 104. Proserpine to Mackay. After the last days drive along the Bruce Highway was mostly road works, this section had hardly any. I managed quite a few caches before arriving in Mackay. I then headed out for an afternoon caching around the northern beaches and suburbs. Lots of great areas visited today.
I was able to park in the correct slot for this one and could see the cache as I got out of the car. Very neat, time for another one.
Thanks for the cache Van_Diemens_Lad

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Van_Diemens_Lad

Mackay Day 2
Having a 3 night stay to find some of the many caches in the area.
After a lunch break we chose to go out to the marina to find a few caches & some AL
We found a good variety of caches some in places we had not visited before.
Thankyou Van_Diemens_Lad for placing this cache.
Went there on a public holiday so things were dead. Lucky cals a tradie and had a small ladder to make things easier.
On my way back from a few FTFs , I needed a few things for dinner tonight, why not park here.
Spotted the cache easily, not so easy to grab it. Had a TOTT in the car that worked a treat, didn't fancy hopping up on the , log signed and returned, very busy here this afternoon

Hard day for the TB's now where to leave so they all visited

We found this cache quite some time ago but it wasn't until today when we were on a mission to find new caches that we remembered we hadn't logged it! We have signed the log. It was a very interesting grab - that I can certainly remember! Lots of muggles around so we had to wait quite a few times to grab the prize. Thanks for placing a cache here. TFTC. SL. TNLN.
Glad I had the long legged, skinny grandson along to boost up to that one. Unless you come from Longreach, you will need a ladder or a friend to reach this one. T4T$
Not to many muggles here to day. Gotcha . Great to do a cache that was different. Tftc
Finally found it after my compus took me around and round it. Sat back in my car and spotted it. A little difficult for me to reach without aid though.
Quick little cache after grocery shopping with GlobeTrotters7701. Had to actually JUMP in order to reach this, definitely might be a challenge for those of us who are vertically challenged! ?? TFTC, good place for it. Definitely be cautious of other shopping muggles in cars!
We reckon saw this one as we drove up to it, but we were wrong. It didn’t take very long to grab it though. Just had to wait until the nearby muggle drove off and we were signing the log. Lucky Mr Ski is tall.
Today we have paired up with Temingi for an assault on as many caches north of Mackay that we can fit into the day. Armed with multiple navigating devices, iPads and iPhones galore, bits of paper, clipboards and a huge pile of TOTT’s we are hopeful that no caches escape our three sets of eagle eyes. We even remembered to bring a few spare pens!
Thanks to all the local owners who have developed, placed and maintained these caches. We known how much effort it takes, and we really do appreciate it. Without you we would not be able to participate in this wonderful, frustrating, enjoyable and challenging pastime.

Found as I meandered my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
I was spending the day caching in and around Mackay when I noticed some nearby Mystery, Multi and Traditional caches that had been published within the last few days but had not been found, including this one. I thought I’d give them a go and spent some time solving a couple of puzzles before setting off to find them.
This cache was a quick find. It was nice to get another *FTF* so far from home.
Thanks OzGeoker for the cache. A favourite point from me.
