Ive come prepared this time, but as it turns out, the cache has been vandalised (it appears) to circumvent the need for TOTTs. A terrible shame after the CO has gone to this much trouble, and even forewarns what is needed in the cache description. Log signed and Ill send a message to the CO about the damage.I wonder if those Korean villagers figured out how to siphon water out of the gauges for a tax break. Thanks for the history and the cache Redrover 09.
Find # 13982I'm in the Adelaide area for the Great Leap Forward event. Not just for the days event, but making it a week long trip of caching n catching up with mates.Flying solo......Day 8. Homeward-bound.Day started off with a tree climb and a big stretch off the ground. Then a bit of a look around Mt Barker. Then it was the trails. It's been a while since I've hit a long trail and being alone it was just me and the caches to fill the rest of the day in. Some power trails are tougher than others, ie parking locations and barriers can be annoying and chew up time. But happily I managed all hurdles. Even the odd orb spider that made some tracks mazes. Happily that what I'd pland out fell into place with only a couple of DNFs.End of day was a surprise with my biggest solo grab of over 300 in a day. But I have plenty more trails in SA to utilise if I want to better that score TFTC Redrover 09
TFTC. Setting up camp for a week in Murray Bridge before the MEGA for 29th Feb!Moving to Ballarat for another week afterwards. Last hurrah travelling before wooding season at home starts!Happy caching and safe travels!
Something special or unusual goes here:A nice quick find. Worked once the cobwebs were removed! The Generic Bit:Met up with Muff1 at Tailem Bend for a day's caching. We targeted the Straya series before a bakery lunch back in Town. Then it was off to find a few more caches and labs around the area. Some laughs are another little pocket of caches cleared....almost. A DNF during the day means will have to be back sometime. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks Redrover 09 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Quick find with CherryRose and luckily we had enough water to deliver the goods. TFTC TNLNSL A favourite point from me because I haven’t done one of these for quite a long time and they’re fun to do.
Found with Beary Organised, haven't found one of these for a long & luckily we had enough water with us. TFTC TNLNSL

A few days based in Murray Bridge and what a variety of caches to track down. Caches about mountains, caches about rivers smooth roads, rough roads. Another fun day out and about with Suscoe. Luckily no need for a gauge while we have been in M. B.

Suscoe was out and about enjoying a day of caching with our very good friends Phetlern.
It was a delightful day, blue skies and sunshine. Hard to imagine it is still Winter.
We found lots of caches today, The AMP Series, The SAR Series, The “Straya” Challenge caches and a few other nearby traditional and multis as we wandered to the North East of Murray Bridge. We had fun using a range of TOTT at a few caches as well.
We were heading back to Murray Bridge now and the day was slipping by.
Thanks to Redrover 09 for this hide.
The thermos is a handy thing some times.

Found with mogni and Sir Spectre on a drive around east of Murray Bridge finding lots of caches to help mogni reach a milestone before the upcoming Mega. Sir Spectre had the field puzzle solved in no time. TFTC Redrover 09
Out with Mogni and Allister w for the day. All logs stamped as JAMS. Today's target was to get Mogni closer to 20,000 finds with the aim to get her to 20,000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria. We got 131 finds and 1 DNF for the day. We did the AMP ( Australia Mountain Peaks ) and SAR ( south Australian Rivers ) plus some of the Bindi's GeoMobiles series.
What a great cache. Naughtybunny and I enjoyed this one. It's quite dry out here so water was at a premium. Luckily we brought plenty with us. I've come across this type of contraption before so knew what to do. TNLN. Cheers.
Out in the area for the day with Chookster, I really wanted to do this one and wasn't disappointed! Good fun, a first for me and something a bit different!
TFTC, I really liked this one.

Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A bonus find while completing the AMP Series. This cache was not set up as it should and we found the cache on the ground. It has been cable tied it back in position. All good to go again.
Our thanks to all the COs for taking on this Geo-guided tour. We have enjoyed ourselves, but it is time to slowly, very slowly, head West again.

Went out for the day with M-dolphin and her dog and thought we would go for an Adventure today
We are on our way to join up with a small group of cachers to do the On Your Bike Series, today is a stopover in Murray Bridge to visit with family and, of course, doing a small amount of caching.
Our appologies for the boiler plate logs but I have got so far behind with my logging this is the only way I can catch up.
We have had a great day and found all of the caches that we targeted, we did any running repairs that were needed and all caches were left in a good condition for the next visitor. SL TFTC

Heading to Naracoorte today to spend the start of the year with the husband. Had a later start than planned which always seems to be the way so the planned 40 caches became about 20.
It was too hot for caching in my opinion so 18 was more than enough. My cappuccino pav just about survived the journey.
Thankfully no snakes and all caches attempted were found.

Found after completing several series... only 1 dnf for the day ... great day of caching with hevwalker, froghoppin and Mattycat. Really enjoyed the day- lots of fun, laughter, exercise and stories to tell later to all our caching friends. I was not far from reaching a 150 cache day I needed for a challenge .... after hearing this, my amazing caching friends helped me achieve my goal. YAY I ...we did it. Thankyou!!!! TFTC Redrover 09

A great day to find a cache (every day is a nice day for that!)
An even better day to team up with froghoppin, then Hevwalker and Scramping, for a few more caches.
Quite a few it turned out. This was one of them!
With Mr froghoppin present we declared it a Wayne gauge.
The dropper was quite loose and may benefit from a mallet or ties to the tree.
Some rain may be coming tomorrow...
Grateful thanks to Redrover 09 for hiding this cache on our SA geo map game board

Most Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Took a few extra fingers, but Owl had the requisite TOTT in the Owlmobile. Teamwork!
A caching day had been organised with Doctor Owl heading to Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend to find a couple of new series along with other newish caches we came across on our travels. [^] A fun day was had and we ended up finding more than we had anticipated.
We hadn't read the cache description before getting here but luckily Owl had the required TOTT in the car and we managed to grab the cache on the second attempt.

Thanks Redrover 09 for this cache. I always like these, they are great fun. I carry lots of water in the car for caching trips, so retrieved a bottle. I drained almost 2 litres into this one and the little fella didnt move. He was stuck to the bottom. I used a magic device kept on hand for just this occasion, and the container was eventually prised loose. Book signed and back in play, its rattling around a bit now so hopefully the next finder will have an easier time.
Found and quickly sorted with RydeR222. Had left a larger water bottle home but scrounged enough to do the deed!! Thanks Redrover09 for the adventure ...................... a favourite!!
*FTF* AT 0625 getting ready for work when alerts were chiming on my phone, after checking this new cache came out well who could resist on such a nice morning , threw the geo pup Douglas into the car and headed off with tott, easily found and cache retrieved. Thank you for another well designed cache Redrover09. Fave on the way .
