WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 145 - Toowoomba Day 1. I had a few aims on this day around town. I was looking to visit as many Lab caches as I could and get a few normal caches as well. I ended up doing quite a loop of the city area and a big walk through town before lunch. Some of the Labs ere quite challenging and the bonus caches proved difficult. I was happy to find a bit of shade to have a late lunch before an excursion to Drayton and then back to the Toowoomba Show grounds where I am staying to do some logs and cook dinner at the van. Another day around Toowoomba tomorrow.As I headed into town to find my first set of labs I drove near a few caches so just had to stop for a look. I found a spot to stop and wandered over to the berms. Clifton to ToowoombaAfter settling into the showgrounds our 1st stop was to visit the markets.It was then onto do a few caches & a number of ALsWe went to mnany interesting location & found some very good caches. Af fishing pole caches included.Thanks Maceace87ace for hiding this cache.

Poor cache has no lid anymore. We stampt log and place cache up out of the rain the best we could.

Out caching Northside Toowoomba under the cover of night. Have driven past this little track and been meaning to stop in... Also had to Google to learn what a berm is, the more you know! Went for a wander around the track, cachers mind switched on, I had an idea... Bingo! Cache in hand. TFTC, cool little area worth getting attention. Left a little swap for the geokids. ️
After figuring out what a berm was this was a quick find. Look carefully as it's well camouflaged.
Nice little park, wish I had a bike to ride around the paths and obstructions. Looked in where I thought the hint was sending me, looked elsewhere, before looking in the right direction. Cach was in plain sight, but well hidden....

Good hiding spot very hard and we nearly gave up then we looked at the clues in comments hint:look under you see a taped mint can
May have just not looked hard enough, but seems to have been taken or moved elsewhere.

Up early this morning and keen to get in a couple of caches before the event. I had made a small list for today. It was going to be a long and distance covering day as I had made plans to meet up in Toowoomba for Saturday afternoon. So it is Southport to tweed heads to Ipswich to Toowoomba and caches in between.
Arriving in Toowoomba and this one was on the way to my digs for the night. I had spent the last few weeks getting any chances I had to solve as many puzzle caches as I could in prep for this and next weekend’s time in Toowoomba. This was as I was passing sorta.

We were happy with where our GPS put us and with a little bit of a hunt around we were on it. SL TFTC
We spent ages looking for it under things in trees and still couldn’t find it hope to come back and try again
