Out with Happy pants, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts for a fews days celebrating my special birthday. In Shepparton and grabbing a few around the area. Stopped off and grabbed all the info needed for a likely set of co-ords. Once at GZ it was an easy enough find. Loved strolling around these old cemeteries. Thanks The Blind Side for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.
Out and about with omegaman, Happy feet and Happy Pants, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Some sad tales here. Thanks The Blind Side for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 181Sidetracked Cache Finds: 133Back in Shepparton after many years to bring some smiles to the map, catch up with old friends, and celebrate Happy Feet1's birthday. This is one of the caches we found this weekend.Cheers for the cache
This is our RDO weekend, consisting of Thursday, Friday & Saturday where we always choose a different location for a caching adventure, this time, sunny Shepparton is our destination. With all Mysteries solved, our aim was to pick them all up in and around town while completing the latest multis that have popped up since our last visit. The weather was brilliant with sunny blue skies making for a fantastic getaway experience.DAY 2 turned out to be a full day of caching completing the unfound multis and solved puzzles in town before heading out to the various nearby districts for solved puzzles and 2 labcaches. We enjoy cemetery caches perusing over the older sections and reading the interesting headstones so being our last port of call on this side of Shepp this afternoon we sought out the 2 vital headstones to solve this multi. Numbers crunched we headed to GZ where the micro was spotted after a quick search. Thanks The Blind Side for the Multi placement adding to our caching enjoyment for the day.
07:26Making our way homeward after a fabulous week of caching around the North East. A few stops on the way always make the trip more interesting! How time flys when we are caching, hard to believe, it is actually just over 2 years since we had a DNF here. Good to add our name to the log today. Thanks to The Blind Side for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36217
After the week in Bright it was time to head home to Melbourne... via a longer than normal route so I could find caches in the Greater Shepparton and Campaspe LGAs... the things you do when you get bitten by the "challenges bug"... Now in the Greater Shepparton LGA, it was time to get serious as I wanted at least 13 Finds before leaving... I also wanted to find a Multi today for a different challenge so this was a perfect opportunity. It was all quiet today as I collected the required information and sought out the cache. Thanks to **The Blind Side** for placing this cache here.
Shepparton is an area that we often drive through but has never been a destination. This Kings birthday long weekend we made it our destination to tick off some caches in the area
Nice easy find and some great history of the cemetery

I found your D2.5/T1.0 Micro Multi-Cache called Pine Lodge Cemetery on 12 April 2023. It was find #18254 for me. Thank you The Blind Side for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.
Rutherglen Mega Trip. [^] Day 10 - Let the journey back home begin. [^] It was a horrible drizzly rain sort of day but that didn't stop up find a few caches anyway. We had solved quite a few puzzles before coming over so we just had to go and find a few.
Our crew for the week for the mega was:
Bushfire
Anymules
Brisal5
6Hinemoa2
BAB6 for short and to save space in logs. We stayed together for a few caches until we split and then it was just myself and Anymules. We took a targeted way down to Bendigo finding these along the way.
Got some numbers and then made a find.
**SA’s Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024.**
***Thanks The Blind Side for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

I spotted some post CSI events on the calendar and since I had a few days up my sleeve I hatched a plan to do some travel to connect them all up.
I parked up for the night just outside of Benalla and after a relaxing morning I headed off towards Shepparton and the afternoon CITO.
I stopped in to explore this cemetery and gather the required information.
A search at GZ soon revealed the cache, not quite as camoed as I had expected.
Thanks The Blind Side for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

I love finding caches in cemeteries so of course just had to stop and find this one. Lovely cemetery, quickly gathered all the required information (note: there are 2 Elizabeth's!) and set off to find said cache.
Now the information states the cache is a micro disguised to suit the location so I've gone searching for just such an item. After scratching my head several times, I went back to one location where I'd (thought I had) thoroughly searched and there it was - in plain sight without a shred of disguise. How in Gods name did I not see this!!!!!! TFTC

Some may wonder why Ive signed this log twice. well, Today is a very special day for me. My dad passed away 12 months ago today so I went for a visit and some quiet time.
As I was driving out I remembered that this cache was my first ever found. I decided to stop and resign the log so that it has todays date on it.

A beautifully kept cemetery.
Took a while to find this little cache.

Gosh what an amazing well kept cemetery here with flowers on so many graves, there was a breeze here and you could smell the fragrance from some of the fresh flowers and gave you pause to think of those buried here.
I soon had the numbers crunched and headed to GZ for the search.
Was nice to meet you at the Kyabram cemetery today The Blind Side, so glad we made the effort to check this multi out. A fav point for bringing us here.

The Cemetery was rather quiet today as i went in to to this Multi whilst a day at Violet Town was planned [Two good freight trains were running and i didn't wanna miss getting video of them for my Gunzel mates ]
The number grab from the two grave sites was simple and i went back to the GeoMobile to crunch the numbers.
That done i was off to GZ to make a quick find of a cache in good condition and a dry log within.

Well this was quickly solved. The geo kids found a frog to keep them amused while I did the workings out. A little puzzled at GZ but soon enough we had the little blighter in our hands! TFTC!!
A very well kept cemetery, a credit to those that care for those that have departed. TFTC
Sorted numbers quickly but no luck. Reworked the coordinates for the same answers I seem to be the blind side today in this neat cemetery
Cemeteries are such interesting places to visit. Had a nice snoop through and found this cache in a very picturesque location. TFTC
Found while visiting family, took a few looks but we soon had the cache in hand. Tftc
Traveling over to Echuca by a somewhat convoluted path, and collecting a few odd caches.
A lovely sunny day for caching.
A lovely cemetery, all laid out with green lawns. It was easy to find the headstones for the multi's information.
Interesting history, and the doggies appreciated all the bones laying around
We soon had some numbers that looked good, and soon after the cache was in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18226. The first day of caching in quite a while, travelling between Beechworth and Echuca, via a long and winding road. Managed to find 13 and 1 DNF and also completed an AdLab in Tongala. Was surprised at such dry countryside and the gale force winds.
First find for the day at this very neat cemetery. I always enjoy a cemetery cache, but certainly there didn't seem to be too many old, elaborate headstones in this predominantly lawn cemetery. A nice find at GZ and we continued on our way.
Thanks The Blind Side

Heading towards Shepparton for the night and stopped off at the cemetery for a look around and give this multi a go. All went well and the answers were soon in hand. Calculations done and then off to GZ where the non caching wife spotted the cache. Log signed and then a look around before heading back to the car and back on the road.
Thanks The Blind Side...an informative and neat multi. Fav point added.

e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found as I made my way from Adelaide to the Mega event at Wangaratta with Freddo.
We meandered our way across northern Victoria, camping along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks. We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other caches opportunistically as we were passing.
After gathering the required information from the two graves, the final coordinates were determined and it was off to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks The Blind Side for the cache.

TFTC. We are staying on the are for a few days prior to the mega in Wangaratta. Teaming up with Liz and Bruce and muff1 we spent the day exploring around the area caching as we went. We did enjoy the simplicity of this multi.
Thank you for this great simple and easy cache with co-ords that worked out perfectly. SL TFTC
Travelling towards Wangaratta and we are stopped fairly close by for a couple of days. Thanks for placing this multi we enjoyed finding your cache.
I love the description as sad as some of it is. The generations of some of the families here is amazing. Fantastic TFTC
So grateful to visit here in the rain.
Collecting the clues and found it afterward.
Thanks for bring me here and cache.

Out and about on a caching day with Beavar over Shepparton way. Thought we were FTF, but no, it was just a new log sheet after a maintenance run. SL at 10.10am A bit chilly wandering around this neat and flat Cemetery today, but job done and off we go to a couple of other new ones in the area. #8259 TFTC The Blind Side

Our first stop on the trip home south to the Bellarine, after a few days by the river.
What an interesting and smooth flowing multi - BUT at GZ.......
We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but sadly today there was no way we could work this one out! This 2.5/1 didn't want to show itself today.
Thanks for the hunt anyway The Blind Side.

Thought I'd check on the cache while driving past and it is missing. Will replace ASAP
I needed a multi today and there was only 1 close by
This one, which I had deliberately and with very great restraint[?][^] refrained from finding[?][?] when I brought Cybergran V out here on the 16th and she claimed silver place after dalerious and catnap777[^][^]
I love old cemeteries[:X] and so it was great to visit here again[^], although this is mostly a newer cemetery than some I have seen
Getting to GZ I looked where the cache had been last visit and[?][?][?] no cache[?][?]
Then I thought 'maybe the wind blew it off' and started looking at the ground[^][^]
I was almost right[^] but between the wind and my finding the cache there was a LizzieandE who put the cache in a slightly different location Just enough to keep me on my toes!
Once found, I replaced it where it had been a few days ago[^]

Found today @2:50 loved your description and the multi In general certainly was symbolic.
Beautiful resting place, first time here for me.
Placed back with log signed, as we found it had been blown away in the strong wind.
Thank you Blindside.

Well, I’m not sure where to begin with this one. I made my way out to the cemetery over the school holidays to make the most of my time away from school. I approached the first place to gather information and having been there only a few seconds suddenly the ground started to rumble. The entire grave started to shake. I looked around for The Blind Side. Surely he was pushing some button to make it happen. Then I questioned whether I was on candid camera. Not seeing any cameras nor The Blind Side I wondered what to do. I stepped back away from the rumbling grave.
A text message came through from my sister in Melbourne. Earthquake! My goodness could it get any more exciting?
After all my excitement settled I gathered the rest of the information and went on to find the very symbolic cache hide.
Thanks for the effort and the challenge The Blind Side.

Joint {ftf} with my beau dalerious @ 1358. As dalerious has explained all that was to be said, all I shall say is, thank you so much The Blind Side for an awesome multi. It was a privilege to claim a first to find on this one. Favourite given.
Joint [FTF] with catnap777 @1:58pm
Thanks The Blind Side for putting a great big smile on our faces with this nice little multi found with a clean log sheet.
Cat' and I had been lured into the hills and beyond chasing D5 and T5 caches for our first day out of lockdown, so we were well out of range when all the new caches around Shepparton were published including this one. We failed rather dismally on our high aspirations for the day and were returning home empty handed when we saw that this last new cache had yet to be snapped up by any of the other local FTF hounds. We made a bee line for it.
A quick calculation from clear information at the posted coords had us both at GZ in no time flat where we quickly found our prize in good condition where we signed our first log sheet for the day. Woo Hoo!! FTF!!!
Thanks again The Blind Side for all your contributions to the game. We finished off our day by grabbing a few more finds out of the forest between Shepp and Mooroopna.

I’m not fond of cemetery caches, and definitely don’t like multis, but this one gets a favourite point for me - for its simplicity, good parking, very short distance to gather the information, and ingenious cache container.
Thanks The Blind Side for what I consider the perfect Multi, and the best one I’ve ever done.
Congratulations on thinking of us septuagenarians who can’t walk too far or climb trees any more.
