Day seventeen of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Stayed in Te Anau and spent the day going to Doubtful Sound. We were on a tour so we didn't get many caches done.Heavy cloud over the mountains and rain later in the day.A nice view of the river from GZ.A bit worrying that so many trees have fallen in.Thanks, Robmc.
Day 17 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today is the last full day in Te Anau.Todays scheduled activity is the boat, bus, boat ride to DoubtfulAlsoNot ASound. After a great feed at the club we headed out to collect a few caches before we collapse into bed. Thanks for contributing to our amazing holiday.
Found this one on my cycling trip across the country. Always nice to get of the saddle for a bit.TFTC
Staying at manapouri for couple days, thought we would chase some caches.
Back today to grab another cache. Jumaropa had painted a stone and made it for us. Had 2 others done yesterday so back today and yes the stone is still there. Our name is also added here. Tftc
A hot walk in the sunshine from Rainbow beach. An instant find in a cool shady spot. A very different look to the river here. Thanks for placing.
Weather report is no looking great for later today - so left early for a ride toward Manapouri and back. Ended up turning round at balloon loop road - so about 45 km return trip from the caravan.Trail was pretty quiet so made caching easy yay! Good wee hidy holeTFTC
Just pleased to be able to sign a cache 1/1 - but forgot that it should now end in 24 instead of 23. Hopefully do not do that too many more times. Jumped on our bikes this morning to do the return trip to Manapouri for some lunch. The ride was great, the lunch went down a treat and we made it back to Te Anau with out running out of battery. The body needed refueling though. It is definitely worthwhile stopping here and enjoying the view. Thanks Johnv2020 for the cache
In Te Anau for a couple of days with AlpiSteve and today we are heading home via Manapouri. A wee detour down this road for a couple of caches. Wow what an awesome spot! Cache was a quick find then back to admiring the views TFTCMake your way to Dunedin for New Zealands next large multi-day event. GCA7ZHD Geo Toroa will be held on NZs Labour Day long weekend 26-27th October 2024
Out for a ride after tea to get a few caches, 28km for the trip, back just on dark. Many Thanks Bitsprayer

We've been here before on caching business! The bike trail hadn't reached here at that time.
Found on a family stroll. One left on trail to find. Pen ran out sorry, couldn't fill it out.
First to find for 2023
This was a nice stretch of river that i would have stopped at and had a short swim had i still not many more miles left to cover.
Looks to be seagull central lunch spot. Must be some good fishing here.
A quick find in the most logical of locations, then on i tramped.
Thanks johnv2020 for another cache on the lake2lake trail !

A nice early morning start to escape from the madness and rat race of the last few months , so a quick road trip is in order to vist the area and we were greeted the a dusting of snow on the top just beautiful.
I love looking up and over at the Kepler and thinking I have one more challenge in me .
Now to put dome more miles on the legs let's go .
Next time I will walk the the lake to lake .
But to day just a quick stop to surch for this one and complete the needed paperwork I will ne back to walk the lake to lake looks like fun
How the river has changed, I have boated ir a few times and remember many years ago when we boated the river and there was a small sand bank to get from the main flow in to the bloon loop so awY we went and it was well worth the look .
now back on the road and let's see where we end up.
Quick find with Abbykitt and annielin.
Getting out and about in to the out doors is my happy place so any excuse to go caching.
Life is short. Live one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!!
Thanks for the hide

Got the van down here for a fine view as a jet boat went whizzing around the loop.
Parked at the top of the hill and walked down ONLY guess who left the pen in the car and had to walk back. My fellow cacher decided to wait in the shade by the cache lol
Did a bike ride from Balloon Loop to Te Anau to get the last of these before we move to Alexandra. TFTC
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we were parked up at the new NZMCA Manapouri camp site & were spending our time exploring the area, on foot & by bike … we decided that we would bike the Lake2Lake Bike Trail from Manapouri to Te Anau … so this one was an easy find, log completed & successfully returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,989 for us.
I have shifted my snail shell to Te Anau from Gore to pick up some of the new caches sinces I was here a year ago.
I had to search the stump a couple of times before locating the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
I checked the cache today on my bike ride and should be still hidden at the stump
After finding what we thought was the hiding spot, an extensive search turned up nothing so the area was widened but to no avail. Hopefully we just missed it but it may be gone. ️
