As asked by Private Message, with no response, is there any update on this cache? Thanks.
A wet and showery day. No muggles about. No log in cache only an empty pink plastic bag,, also no top to the cache.
Out caching on Australia Day. The turkeys have definitely moved in here! V quiet on the park. TN L a bird label, a small picture frame and the Kitty Adventures TB. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
My first geocache for 2022 and hopefully, the first of many.
Thank you lysleo for a fine placement!
I didn't actually see any bush turkeys. Maybe some locals there found a way of making them taste palatable with stuffing and cranberry sauce for Chrissie dinner?!

Tftc lysleo, had to do a drop off at the airport , so taking the opportunity to collect a few new LGA's.
Thanks
Thanks
Found under the watchful eyes of a pair of bush turkeys. The park was empty upon arrival, thus making an easy retrieval, thanks for the placement Iysleo

An early morning vet appointment on the north side gave us time to stop into this park with geodog Peppa on the way home.
The place was deserted so we made a quick find. No turkeys spotted today but definitely saw evidence of them.

For today’s Sunday caching adventures we initially had thoughts of attending the Geocaching NSW Christmas Event at Lake Parramatta, but decided to give it a miss due to the lack of Public Transport options available for us to get to GZ, so opted instead for a train ride along the T1 North Shore Line. Stopped off at Mount Colah and Roseville stations for a couple of SideTracked MultiCaches, and then to Artarmon Station for a nearby Traditional cache. Ended our day of “riding the rails” with a stop at Waverton Station, where we walked down to the Waverton Coal Loader to view the Loader Lights light show (mini VIVID) down in tunnel #1 of the Coal Loader (on till Sunday 19th December 2021). Afterwards it was back onto a train to Chatswood Station to catch a 280 bus back to home. This was the 3rd of 3 finds for the day.
After completing the two SideTracked Multis we hopped back onto a T1 train to Artarmon Station and walked through the back streets, and over the Pacific Highway, to reach this cache at Helen Street Reserve. Arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find of the good sized cache container. Signed the logbook, swapped a trinket, then replaced as found.
No sign of any (bush???) brush turkeys at or near GZ, but we did see three of them in the back streets on our way back to Artarmon Station, and our resident brush turkey was waiting for us at our back door when we arrived back home, so we snapped a photo of him for the log. He seems to spend an awful lot of time sitting on our back deck.
Now it's back to Artarmon Station and onto another T1 train to Waverton Station for the Loader Lights light show down at the coal loader. TFTC lysleo.

Quick find amongst the brush turkey's mound near the bush. A nice quiet park as the rain clouds approach once more. Bush or brush turkey? I think they are called the latter. TFTC
A quick find today after work. I got drenched doing CO maintenances parhology laboratories so luckily this new one was an easy find in the torrential downpour. Sometime a raincoat won’t even do it. TFTC
While I was out in Sydney's west some caches were published.
Boo hoo, one really close to home and I'm a million miles away.
As I drove I wondered if it was found and pulled over a couple to times to check. No finds, so when I got to the nearest traffic lights to the cache where I needed to turn for it I checked again. Still unfound. Right maybe I could be first.
Drove round to the nearest parking for the geomobile and headed into the park. Still nothing logged so maybe.
Walked around to where I thought the cache might be, and there it was. Opened and hmm, 2 finds, one today, Morty8888 who I know would have logged the find immediately after finding the cache so he must be somewhere nearby in the park but it was misty rain so I didn't stop to look for him and a chat.
The other log was on 4-10, after the cache was placed but 7 weeks before the cache was published. Hmm, not in the georules.
So I logged in the space for 3TF but really I'm 2TF.
It was obvious the Brush Turkey had been playing here near the cache this morning!

Right place right time for this cache being launched. A short drive over in the light rain meant the park was empty. Good coords had me at a point of sitting but didn't want a wet backside so crouching was in order. There was already a log from October in the book so I signed below that.
Of course there was a turkey just 5 metres from the cache so I followed it for a bit after rehiding the container. Im not a big fan of these birds but appreciate what I have learnt today regarding their history thanks to this cache. TFTC!
