Logs
Nice little cache that was found without too much difficulty. Log was a bit wet but still signable. TFTC!
A long awaited weekend trip to Geelong saw us targeting some of our long list of solved puzzles, amongst other caches as well. This morning, however, Parkrun was first up on the agenda, and this cache was found along the way while walking to the start of the nearby Balyang run. A nice quick find. TFTC widejo.
On my way to an appointment i had enough time to stop and grab this cache. Log is a bit soggy but dried it off and signed and replaced. Tftc
As we had parked close to here, we decided to grab this after doing some nearby multis.Log quite wet, dried it the best we could.TFTC
Nice cache there. Good to see you made your own. Bit of moisture in there but not enough to stop me signing your new log!Thank!
No luck here, I saw a couple of trees that I would call unique but no cache was found
Having rode down this hill so many times on my bike, it was nice to do it again, and find a cache near the bottom. I stopped my bike and pulled over at GZ and after a quick look I found the blue friend hanging around. I quickly signed, even though it smelt really bad, and went onto the multis in Balyang.

Down in Geelong once again visiting my daughter and family for our granddaughters first birthday. After dropping my son who is also visiting from Canberra to parkrun and doing a little shopping, had just enough time to grab this little fella that I recall I reported missing some time ago. No such problem today!

I was distracted for a while by a tree further down the path with a particularly loopy lower branch, however once I went back to the coordinates on my phone and found the right GZ, the cache itself was an easy find. Thanks for the cache, widejo.
Tackling the Balyang area this holidays. One quick win at a time! Fortunately, this one proved to actually deliver on the quick win.
Cache in extremely good condition, well set up and well protected from the elements.

This one could have been a lot harder than it was, but a logical hide and pretty much staring you in the face when you were in the right spot helped a lot.
Finally found the loop.
By the looks of the bike not far from gz maybe they didnt lol

Found on our way past today while touring around the area. Once at GZ, didn’t take too long to spot the hide. Signed log and left as found, all good here. Cheers.
Find #5287 on 5 Feb 2023.

We made an unexpected trip to Geelong today as Mrs Dromaniax had injured her finger earlier in the week, and it had become infected. So we trundled into a Medical clinic to get her a suite of drugs to fix up the finger.
Once we had completed the medical part of our journey, we took the more scenic route home and stopped by to find this cache.
We always enjoy descriptions like head high, as it all depends on the height of the hider. We did, though enjoy the differences that Mother Nature can create.
We found the cache in ex cellent condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache widejo.

Not what we were expecting but we did spot it soon enough.
Then just looked around and spied it.
Cache was what we expected though.

We really enjoyed searching for this cache in one of our favourite places to ride TFTC
Ride to the bike park and walked through some trees and found it well from there
Out and about working my way into town via various caches and ad labs. Strolled up here before kicking off a multi not too far away. Initially I settled on the wrong tree (with my eyes as instructed), a quick search didn’t quite feel right so I made my way back to the path, reassessed and soon saw the error of my ways. Not sure how I didn’t hit my head on the cache on my first venture into the trees!
Cache has been placed higher in the tree, which will hopefully deter the repeated muggling of this cache.
Looks like it's been muggled yet again. I'll aim to have it back in place this weekend.
Out and about for an hour or so, I dropped by here for a nice quick find at 11:05. Quite a few were making use of the facilities on either side of the parking bay today.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks widejo.

Been muggled twice in 12 months! I'm out of bison tubes so cache is now a thematically camouflaged Eclipse tin. Hopefully it gets a longer life than the others!
Found with the family.
A nice spot for a geocache.
Thanks for placing it for us to find.

I'm out for an afternoon of exercise and caches. Most of my visits today are looking for the info required to kick off a puzzle or multi.
Sadly, this cache wasn't where it should have been. The spot I found was... appropriate, just vacant. As the big Austrian says, "I'll be back!"
Scoreboard: 2 finds, 1 DNFs, 4 non-find visits.
Thanks heaps, widejo!

A nice cache indeed with a story and a unique looking tree to boot.
Good coordinates did the trick and bending down the bison was discovered and unscrewed.
Thanks widejo

Chasing a few caches with The Empire after attending the **DO YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE!** events
A fantastic day to be out in the fresh air and sunshine. It was great to be back in the area again and able to swing past and make the find?
A nice straight forward find here. Left my mark on the log and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache widejo. Appreciate your efforts.

After hanging out with everyone at the event, including the man himself, Bushfire, we spent the rest of the afternoon caching around this part of G-Town. A quick find here once we worked out where to park. Thanks for the cache widejo.

On a day's outing from Bellbrae to Geelong, LittleBoss2 and I had a great day doing AL caches, EC's and trads, puzzles and multis. This was a unique little tree, thanks for bringing us here widejo
We were keen to get out this weekend to climb the mountain and reach the peak of Mt Everest with tomorrow forecast to be hot today was the best day to go. Geelong had a few unfound caches that have been building over the last little while and today it was time to turn them into smileys.
A quick look here today feeling a little uncomfortable with quite a few kids on the track.
Thank you widejo for the hide

I had made a late start to the day, but keen to get out and energise with my faithful companion.
SimsFamily and Neville devil had also started earlier that morning. So we joined up and continued to look for local puzzle and Multi caches around Geelong which was a hive of activity at many locations. Plus a detour to Aireys inlet for a lab cache.
With good coords to cache was soon located which could of been tricky considering the location.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Widejo

Suscoe's last stop on a brief afternoon's caching.
We have watched this area for many, many years from back in the old tip days. We must say that this mountain bike park is an excellent recreational use of this site.
We even remember when wisps of smoke could be seen emerging from the soil that was used to cover the old tip back in the 70s.
Thanks to widejo for this placement.
All good here today.

Walked past this cache a few too many times before finding it, was going about looking for it in the completely wrong way . Just bought geocaching premium today, so thanks to Widejo for the first premium cache!!

Heading homeward after the Panorama Heights CITO we called at the track, unfortunately the trusty treadlies were at home. We found the cache quickly and added our name to the log.
Thanks widejo for placing caches in interesting locations for everyone's enjoyment.

buhfuhguh and SteMicMitSar very kindly offered to take me around Geelong today with a Community Celebration Event in Ceres being the outing's main attraction.
Despite the event starting at 6pm, I had to wake up at 6am in order for us to fit in all of the adventures that this region had to provide!
An excellent time was had at each and every stop, and meeting other cachers throughout the day as people slowly trickled into the area was a really fun experience too.
Under the cover of darkness, I wandered right up to gz where this unique tree was spotted from a short distance away.
The coordinates were spot on and the cache was found in the first spot I looked, luckily the adventure wrapped up before I was driven loopy!

*Cache find # 12120.*
Today I headed out and around to the Geelong region once again with Brainiac03 and buhfuhguh to spend the day in search of caches before heading to Mr. Sim’s 50th birthday celebration event.
Well the event was now finished but before we headed for home we decided that there was still a bit of caching time left in the day so as we headed in the general direction we need to go and found a few more along the way, this being one of them.
**Thanks to widejo for placing this cache.**
