Once I finally got it open I realised I had left my pen in the car. I managed to put the date and name on the log with the end of one of the burned sticks around. I thought that was quite fitting for such an ancient place. TFTC
We came and visited shark rock. After a look we headed up to find the cache and made a quick find. Thanks for placing this cache here
Yeahhh found you together with cacherkiddies and better half a good climb a good view and many flies. Tftc
Hi there Barrikon. While out on the road today we found this cache at 0503pm after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Barrikon for this cache - our find 10649 and the 57th of 61 finds for the day.FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition. The owner of this cache deserves a FavPt for the work put into it, but I can't give him/her one, so I'll give it to the cache instead.
Our time in WA is drawing to a close. After a couple of days in York catching up with Spudbex today it's time to move towards Kellerberrin. We stopped at Tammin and dropped the caravan whilst we tackled a multi. A humungous yummy hamburger at the roadhouse before rehitching and continuing on.
A very foggy start to the day but wow it warmed up to 19degrees by the time we reached Kellerberrin after lunch.

What a fantastic spot
Live in Merredin, and didn't know that was there.
Because of that, I'm giving a Fav
Mind you, it killed this old fellas knees getting to it, but we'll worth it.
( in now waiting for the Rough Red to kick in and ease the pain)

Road trip. Mr Ooh-Yeh hit me up a few weeks ago to head out and do the Mt Helena series so today was the day we hit the road. A heap of labs and a few others on our way up. Signed logs as “OK”
Very cool location here worthy of a fav point. Found it nice and quick and took time to admire the views.
Many thanks to Barrikon for placing and maintaining Wheatbelt Secrets - Shark Mouth Rock. I was here and this is my find 10431.

Found it. TFTC Barrikon. Happy to make a quick find here once I got to GZ. Replaced as found. What an interesting place.
Having been told about this spot over the weekend we made it a priority to stop past here and check it out.
After looking inside the mouth of the rock the hunt for the cache was on and after a bit of a scramble up I managed to snag the find.
Definitely adding a favourite for this piece of history I would have never discovered without caching.

The MICKS (Meme28, I C Nothing, Kapelula, SirFancy & myself) have had a fantastic weekend out in Merredin and the surround area, today had us heading back home chasing new LGA’s for a few members so we took a meandering path taking in Nungarin, Muckinbudin, Bencubbin, Koorda, Wyalkatchem, Trayning, Kellerberrin, Tammin, Cunderdin & Northam.
There were plenty of laughs with great caches and labs along the way.
By the time I got home I finished the day with 17 finds, 15 adventure labs and 0 DNF’s.

TFTC Sl. Found while on trip around the mid west searching for wildflowers & geocaches.
Quick and easy find and using this for the geo mortal outback 5/5 challenge.
Found with Dora the Explorer on our day off from work. A great location. Favourite point given. TFTC
Wow thank you for bringing us here. We enjoyed the short walk and climb, and even Miss atCat (not quite 3 yet) managed to get almost to GZ. TFTC Barrikon
Found with richlink as they accompanied us as far as Merredin before peeling off to head back home. Thanks Barrikon
We accompanied ILT as far as Kellerberrin and Merredin as they headed off on their adventure to SA - we will join them in a few weeks. It was a hard slog through the dead vegetation but eventually able to grab the container. Thanks Barrikon
Arrived in town and thought we’d find some caches even though misty rain had set in but it does now seem to easing off
A quick find by Mr dimor while I waited a little lower, then discovered no pen in cache and we forgot one so it was my job to head back to the car to get one. Glad the area is walking stick friendly.
TFTC
Not sure about Shark Mouth Rock shark as we thought more a snake mouth

Wow. Amazing formation, a family pulled up just before me but, with 3 kids to unload and organise, I managed to hightail it to GZ and log the find before they arrived. We then admired the “mouth”. Thanks for the hide.
My favourite cache of this trip. I felt something very special about this place. Love it here. I was flying solo here trying to beat the last of the sunlight . A good workout for me with the climb but well worth it. Beautiful view - awesome atmosphere. Thanks barrikon for bringing me to this place. I never knew it existed. Fav point added
[FTF] with geo-partner and kids. *Been dragged around the world geocaching since early 2014.New Years resolution 2024 was to sign up for geocaching for real life.Geo-partner logging all the old finds.*
With school holidays upon us & being very eager to get out of the house, the kids & I headed out on a crazy road trip with hopes of maybe getting to this one first Of course I let the kids sleep & turns out the cache was first found around the time we left home!
After a nice drive through the countryside, I arrived to find Lachlan1.77 who was about to depart the scene… I had just missed the others as they had just zoomed off to Lake Grace After being forced to watch the entire Harry Potter series over the school holidays, I have now been enlightened to the phenonemon of teleporting, so knew just how they got there so quickly
We were joined by Lachy to make the find here, he played a game of hot & cold with the kids whilst Master 10 soon made the find…. What a great spot Barrikon You know, one of those spots that makes caching what it is… Cheers

[FTF] I saw cache when it was publish, but terrain 4 said ... wait for daylight. Kids woke up early, so off we were for our geocache hunt.
If someone wants to climb the rock, he or she can bring down other geocache container what has been sitting there many years now. I hid the cache, but it never ended up being published.

Out and about in the Wheatbelt for some caching fun.
It’s a brutal game geocaching. I headed out here specially for the FTF from Perth, but was beaten by an hour. That hour was my decision the night before to have an extra hours sleep before hitting the road. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. I just wish I’d known that it was found when it was, because it would’ve meant I could’ve cleaned up a number of dots along GEH in Meckering and Cunderdin instead of expressing through. A very cool rock that I otherwise would not have visited if it wasn’t for geocaching. Cheers Barrikon!

Out and about today on a journey through the Wheatbelt caching our way through Merredin, Kulin, Lake Grace, Dumbleyung and many a back road in between.
We really enjoy caching along the backroads and roads less travelled seeing the places that locals have chosen to share with us.
Thanks to the many COs caches we found, we had an awesome day out.
