Cache check. All good here. Logs either replaced or more added to caches on this trail.
A milestone birthday for MrTG last month & the family booked a short labour weekend family getaway in Hokitika. It just happened to coincide with a monumental Spring weather event over the weekend. With Arthurs Pass shut with snow, we had to head north out of Christchurch and through the Lewis Pass to loop back around and down to Hokitika......in torrential rain. Fun driving, not much stopping!Heading back to Christchurch today (through Arthurs pass which is open again - yay). Weekend over & heading for home (CHch)...MrsTG thought this was a nice spot for a family walk, much to the disgust of Mr15 & 17......Quickly cornered and signed, Mr15 came up trumps here. Thanks.
Last on this track. Really enjoyed the walk and the caches! Thanks for your effort in maintaining
Quite a few rocks to check again. Started off on the wrong side of the track, but soon crossed over for a quick find. TFTC
JD found it. He likes to say, " see dear you have to stick with the experienced" , It's Easter so we're off in our camper van We're staying one night in Hokitika with friends and Greymouth for two before heading home Christchurch.
As luck had it this was a straight forward find ..this is an awesome trail love caching along here cheers holymu
We seem to be going against the flow of cyclists and most are surprised to see us. Thanks for the placement holymu
I got my bike out to do a few caches around Kumara today. I wasn't being a Larrikin today.
I also read a previous log.
Cheers for the cache, holymu.

5 kids .... will they talk us into the next one. It's dinner time!!!! TfTC. Sorry no pen.
A nice quick find today, thanks to the hint in the logs from Gracie7+mum. Blue face turned yellow. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I went for a wee drive over to the Coast for a long not weekend, Sunday to Wednesday, unless the threatened snow happens on Wed, so might cut it short. We had another great day with loads of fine weather, and a handful of FTF thanks to Gracie7+mum..Yipee.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Yay! stopped at the book swap, brilliant surprise. Thanks to gracie7 + Mum and holymu
We have been saving caches in Kumara for when we might need a cache for a certain day/souvenir but as we have some saved ones 'closer to home' today we decided to go and clean them up and finally grab the Adlab aswell, with potential to squeeze in a few new placements.
We started off looking on the wrong side of the track first at our GZ then we widened our search area and saw something abit interesting and found the cache straight after that. As the cache is only a D1.5 I have again added a spoiler. Thanks for the cache

Got the case of cold sweats when I saw gz , having dnf the one at the tailings...wasnt looking forward to this had a good search and was about to carry on along the track (look again on the way back) but not before turning over one more rock...bingo ..gotcha. tftc
Quick find today. Totally stumped as to how I missed this last time. I know I looked in this area. The container and log was a bit wet, so while they dried in the sun I hunted and hunted in every pocket of my running vest to find a writing implement. Can't believe I didn't have one! I pass here often on my runs so will sign the log next week. TFTC
Quick easy find on our way back to Kumara for the night, parked our camper up & went to the summit and back - TFTC
Had a long search on the way and a shorter search on the way back. There was one spot that seemed a likely one and I cleared out all the fallen leaves and looked under a likely flat decoy cover rock but no joy. I'm very sure the cache is still there but it evaded my search today. Next time!
Catching up on logging caches from our trip last month. Found this walking to Kumara from Londonderry Rock with the kids. Must come back with our bikes. TFTC
I hunted for about 30 minutes and went around in circles looking. I thought I was in the right place but eventually admitted defeat and left. I was also getting very hungry so maybe my vision was poor Next time!
GK found this one on the way up the track, it wasn't in the first place he looked but it did not take him long to locate the cache. The log was signed and returned as he found it. Again he showed me where it was as we wandered slowly back to the van.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

#20346. Lots of rocks in this area! Glad Troodles was on to this one quickly. TFTC.
It was rather warm walking along the track, as it was very sheltered from the wind.
I am normally a little bit more careful when flora is between me and the cache, but the little broom that was in my way got trampled as I tried to get closer to a likely looking rock. No great loss and at least it wasn't gorse! TFTC.
