A milestone birthday for MrTG last month & the family booked a short labour weekend family getaway in Hokitika. It just happened to coincide with a monumental Spring weather event over the weekend. With Arthurs Pass shut with snow, we had to head north out of Christchurch and through the Lewis Pass to loop back around and down to Hokitika......in torrential rain. Fun driving, not much stopping!Heading back to Christchurch today (through Arthurs pass which is open again - yay). Weekend over & heading for home (CHch)...MrsTG thought this was a nice spot for a family walk, much to the disgust of Mr15 & 17......No missing this one. Thanks.
So much easier than the previous one. In fact it was in full view! Rehid under stones so its out of muggle view.
Thanks for hiding this cache holymu I appreciate it. Our penultimate find. That rock
I am only doing a short section of the track today hopefully will complete the full 30 k Oneday soon thanks Holymu
I got my bike out to do a few caches around Kumara today. I wasn't being a Larrikin today.
I haven't biked that distance today.
Cheers for the cache, holymu.

Quickly found it on a very warm February afternoon after letting several groups of cyclists pass by; TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
Cheers, Cympull.

The start of our ride back to Hoki on the cycle trail. I wish some of the caches there were as quick and trail-ride friendly as this one was. TFTC.
We have been saving caches in Kumara for when we might need a cache for a certain day/souvenir but as we have some saved ones 'closer to home' today we decided to go and clean them up and finally grab the Adlab aswell, with potential to squeeze in a few new placements.
A nice quick find here and a cool looking cairn on top. Dropping our favourite point here. Thanks for the cache

No problem with the find here - - in fact it was too easy. Signed the log, then used a rock to secure the cache in place. Loved the earthquake indicator nearby. It's probably what they used in the early days .
3/3..arrived at gz just as I finished logging the last find...perfect timing...looked up spotted likely hide (without looking at the hint)..and voila...trail complete...(not counting the tailings dnf!!!) Tftc
Catching up on logging caches from our trip last month. Found this walking to Kumara from Londonderry Rock with the kids. Must come back with our bikes. TFTC
Enjoying this wonderful trail while biking the WCWT, thanks holymu for this straight forward find.
A nice quick find thanks. Off on the bike for a few on this trail. A cool ride.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee jaunt to the West Coast, to climb another mountain.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Out for an after work run enjoying the warm evening. I didn't feel like a hard run tonight so decided I would come here and find some geocaches along the way. Nice quick find. TFTC
Cycle race on this track today so was very cautious. Actually pretended to take a photo as a cyclist rode on by lol , great find
This was one of the easier finds along this track after stuffing around at the first two caches, by the time I got here GK had walked in from the bottom end.
He had found and signed this one but showed me where it was as we passed.
The last time we were in this area we were on our bikes doing the Wilderness trail and were heading up to Cowboys Paradise. We have very fond memories of that trip.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

#20347. Looked next to the sign initially. No sign of the cache there, but Troodles soon spotted it nearby. Three down, two to go. TFTC.
My GPSr lost satellites so was no use on this walk. Normally it can be reset by turning off and on again, but the on/off button no longer works . I can only start it by connecting to an external power source, and the battery pack was back at the car.
Luckily GZ was a dead give away, given the name of the cache. Spotted a likely hide straight away, while the man with the functioning GPSr was looking elsewhere .
Would like to know what is 30km away - Greymouth?? A fav point for the walk. TFTC.
