I spent the day in some northern suburbs finding 20 targeted caches but also having a few DNFs. Ive managed to solve most of this series, some easier than others. I had parked in a side street earlier in the day but when I arrived at gz, there were some road workers there so I left and visited Old Petrie Town to do the Wherigo. After that I went back and they had gone. I managed to park close by and looked in the wrong place first, but then it didnt take long to find in the second place I looked. Logbook signed. All good here. Tftc
I started solving this series a long time ago.Today we visited the cache of the series.Say thank youTeam sissifalke
I was busy blabbing away to Brislions on the phone to have noticed any action here, but apparently GreenGecko1 had a quick find in the 2nd location at GZ.Oh yeah, Brislions say to say Hello.
Staying nearby so we headed out and found this cache between showers. Nice puzzle and hide. Thanks
Found While out with Liz and Bruce
HQ has said they will give us 3 souvenirs if we find 100 caches this month. With less than 2 weeks to go we have come south to make the finds. Collected the first 2 souvenirs easily enough. Now for the hard one.

I knew I had to find a cache today to fill a gap in my calendar. I had worked this one out a couple of nights ago so I thought I might as well grab this one. It is my 4750th cache find so giving it a heart, there is 405 lab caches in that total so do they count as finds as some challenges do not allow them. however they are in my total so i will say 4750 is the total.
Thanks for putting this one out for all to solve and find

Last one today. Solved the puzzle and surprised myself. Love how it revealed itself. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log and Citoed some bottles. Thanks Gcoven. All good with this cache and puzzle.
Out and about early on a Sunday picking up caches for my ‘spell March’ challenge. I’m a mystery cache beginner so was happy to solve this puzzle last night. That’s the beauty of doing a challenge cache, is forces me out of my comfort zone. I followed my nose, not the map, to GZ where the cache was quickly located safe and dry. Thanks for another witchy mystery.
Out for a quick few caches on a hot Saturday morning. Drove up the side road and parked near the GZ. Wandered over and without groaning the cache was found, and the logbook was signed and returned. TNLNSL TFTC
Quick find and no groaning. Find #4 for today. Found with Duppers. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
I have had solved for a long time. Loved the puzzle and i love these hides and definitely not a groan from me . More like a yippee. Thanks for all the fun
Needed to take MissT11 up this way for scouts so I quickly solved all these puzzles, some with a little help from a friend, so that we could get them all today. There were a few DNFs so unfortunately my cauldron will have a few holes until I can get back up here and find the plugs.
A quick solve and a quick find.
A quick solve and a quick find.
A couple of layers to this puzzle, but the stages were quick to progress, and knowing the geocache title, I was able to make the final deciper to get a set of coordinates on 18/01/2022.
This afternoon, after celebrating a one-year birthday party in the morning, I thought I would take the opportunity to visit some of the nearby northern suburbs, which included Murrumba Downs, Petrie, and Joyner. I had a few targeted geocaches on my list, and I closed out my afternoon attempting to defeat a few of the Petrie/Joyner Witches.
I continued my walk from my previous two DNFs, and I arrived at a predictable geocaching hiding spot, to then find an Eclipse mint container covered in ants and eggs. As I checked the logbook, I soon realised that the names weren't matching the last few online finders, and then I looked down at my coordinates to find I was still 8-10 m away. So I then started to check another nearby area, where I found a much more robust and sturdy cache container. That cache container and logbook were in good shape. I subsequently removed the old cache and logbook, so as not to confuse any future visitors. Thanks Gcoven for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

7/8/2022 Find #5501
We had made a plan for today to tackle the cauldron series. Then we realised there was a CITO on over the Southside that needed attending first.
Ok well guess we will just make it quite a full day then.
So Fangsoki, Pprime and I headed over for a spectacular CITO, before finally heading back here to begin this series.
This one wasn’t in the first spot we expected on pulling up. But I dashed over and found it in the other location instantly after.
Thanks for the cache Gcoven.

After a weekend stuck inside with a sick T, put to good use by solving these puzzles (which have been on my must-do list all year) - today was the day to head out (dragging Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo along for the company and eyeballs).
This was our next stop, a very quick find in the groan spot, and the fun of a 17 point U-turn.
Thanks Gcoven for entertaining me at this location.

Tried to stop here earlier but with a muggle on a machine right at GZ I decided to leave it for later. Thankfully on my way home the coast was clear.
Opening up the container I was showered in tiny black ants. Looks like they think the cache is a good place to set up camp.
Thanks for the puzzle and smiley Gcoven

A puzzle that I solved awhile ago, and from my notes, I’m guess I found it fairly straightforward…
Despite the attentions of a local hound, I was able to make this find nice and quickly… I don’t think I even attracted the attention of a single passing motorist, but that could be just wishful thinking…

Solved this cache through the week and popped out today in between storms. While at it is a bit on the damp side there are very few muffles to contend with.
Nice series.

Made my way to GZ. Once there, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC,
A quick find of a nest full of ants who weren’t happy about my intrusion. Thanks for the cache
Small black ants had built a decent sized nest in the cache. They are now looking for a new home

Out for a solo wander this afternoon to gather a few of this series.
Another one that was fun to solve. I enjoyed the different steps. Sure was hard to be stealthy at GZ! TFTC, Gcoven.

On approach, I thought it was one of my most dreaded geocache hides because they’re always infested with spiders, but it turned out to be only my third most dreaded! At least this particular area didn’t have too many spots to search, leading to a relatively quick find. Everything was in good condition. TFTC, Gcoven. =^.^=
I did indeed groan as I drove past on the main road and spotted the suspected hiding spot but once I had parked on the side street closer to GZ I noticed the arrow wasn’t pointing there. The spot it was pointing too also usually makes me groan but it was a nice speedy find so no groans were necessary. TFTC Gcoven
This was a fun puzzle. It’s always satisfying when something twigs in the ol’ brain and it all works out.
I wasn’t actually going out this afternoon after work, but my husband has figured out my trigger. It all started with a simple set up by the sneaky bugger after earlier telling me he’d sort out dinner and “let’s have Chinese”.
Him: Are you going to pick up the Chinese if I order it?
Me: No. You said you were doing that.
Him: But aren’t you going out to get a cache?
Me: Touché. See you soon.
Arriving at GZ, there seemed to be an accident or breakdown nearby which initially worried me, but then I realised it gave me the perfect cover to make the grab.

You would have to be one of the saddest people on Earth if you didn’t like dogs. I know some people like cats but I think we can all agree they had their brains scrambled through some sort of electro-therapy back in the day. Still, I know some people draw the line with letting a dog lick their face.
Personally, I have no problem with it and even think it means a dog is comfortable with me. I’m OK with it as long as I don’t see them licking their pills immediately before they lick my face. I keep my rock area pretty sanitised although I would lick my wheels if I could reach them - and I have tried many times after a few beers.
Then I learnt that some dogs eat their own sh&t or another dogs. I became a little precious about having a rough tongue dragged across my face after that. I have a lot of tongue items and sh&t items on my bucket list but they never appear in the same sentence. Great way to start the day with a find. tftc

After being muggled out on a cache the next suburb or two over and the website not working I had only a few solved mysteries on my map showing. Navigated to GZ minus the map feature and parked up in the right spot, I remember the suggestion. Made a relatively quick find around all the nearby traffic, which I was pleased about.
We managed to solve most of the puzzles ourselves but needed a hint to get started on the others, so armed with all the coords we decided to have a go at finding them. Parked up and managed to get all the neighbourhood dogs barking while we found the cache and signed the log. TFTC Gcoven

With all the puzzles solved we headed down today to find the caches in this series. It was a lovely drive around the area picking up smilies, the weather was nice and the roads were not too busy and we didn’t have to dodge people which made for a fun day. Google and a friend helped with this one and the checker agreed with the numbers. This was the first cache we found today. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks Gcoven for the puzzle and the cache.
Part of our puzzle solving with E to sort our way through this series. Such good puzzles, and some lovely locations visited along the way.

3.5 1.5 Small Mystery Cache
Out and about with Domsky Dou, we planned to cache around Narangba area. Since we have solved all the newish witches puzzles, we decided to hunt for them instead.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Gcoven. Cache container was on the ground, empty. We happened to have a log book with us so we signed in for COVID19 contact tracing . Place the cache where we thought it would be.

So nice to be able to make a cache find 500m from home on my morning ride, this area has been cleared out for me since not long after I started in 2014 .

So with Friday work done and me needing a cache fix, it was a drive over to Redcliffe way to finish off an annoying lab of which I had just one left to collect. Hmm, I might as well make the most of my time and grab a few trads as well while on my travels. But a good turn of events happens when you least expect it.
Then a drive over to Dakabin way to grab a ftf and a chat. Ok so time is getting on and just a couple more to grab before heading home. So my aim was to grab a few challenge caches that I qualify for and a couple I do not yet. Oh it is getting dark and not the place to be hunting so I’m done for the day. Oh but wait here’s one just here. A quick pull over and I’m right beside the cache, a walk around and I soon had the cache in hand.
With the log signed and cache set as I found it, I was off. Thank you for placing this one here.

#2370: *FTF* at 00:22. It's been a while!
I noticed these caches starting to be published earlier in the evening, but had a lot to do, and didn't get a chance to pay them much attention.
Sitting down for my last email check of the day, I noticed just how many had been published... and also that a few hadn't been found yet.... and of those, I reckoned I could solve several.
And tomorrow I get to sleep in. Well, I guess there's only one thing for it....
I focused mainly on FTF candidates, and identified five that were quickly solved. Three very close together, too. Well, off I go!
The chemistry didn't prove too much of a challenge, I always enjoyed the lab.
The find, likewise, was quick, despite my groans upon approach.
Thanks for the cache, Gcoven.

Found at 01.02. Solved this one earlier in the night but hadn't seen any further activity on the series so decided to stay home. Just about to go to bed and I thought, what's 1 more. Got to gz and made a quick find. What's this.... There's a name here already. Well done EngPhil, beat me by 40mins. Lessons learnt, if you have solved it, go grab it and check the logs before going out at 1am. One less on the list for later today. TFTC GCoven
