And another nice quick find

15-Aug-22
Perfect day for a walk so I made sure the pram was in the car and we set off for an adventure. There's less likelihood of complaints if the Turdler is being pushed around with a slight chance he'll nap so off we (just the Turdler and I) went to Lake Coogee today. We had found 3 here previously so set off heading in the opposite direction.

No joy here, we were too busy watching and following the bandicoots.

Axe =(

Out and about getting some fresh air and grabbing a few smiley's. Lake Coogee has been on the radar for a while now. Just hope the rain stays away. As previous posts said we found cache about 5m south. Great camo. TFTC

Headed out to Lake Coogee to complete the caches out here...what a perfect winters day for caching. Not many people out so no need to worry about being spotted.

TFTC Gumnut6160 Thanks for bringing us out for a nice walk around a lovely lake!

Nice easy find...8th out of 19 finds and 1 DNF

Another great camo!

26-May-22
Found cache in good condition. Nice camo.
Thank you.

17-Apr-22
Enjoyed a very nice walk around the lake today, very peaceful. Seems like some other cachers might have been on parts of the trail earlier but no-one seen on my walk. All caches were nice quick finds, with the exception of #1 (MIA) and #17 (DNF). Extra log notes added where appropriate. Thanks for bringing me here today, really enjoyed this series.

Some previous logs helped me out here - ended up approaching from a rather unconventional angle which actually helped as it looked a little out of place. Nice camo - have a fave point. TFTC

With the fantastic weather forecast for today we decided to get out and about. We noticed this area had a few unfound caches for us which guided our path today.

G’day there Gumnut6160, I was in this area today and found your cache Lake Coogee 06 GC9H8D4. Our name was added to the log book at 9:49 am on 16 January 2022. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

We took up Geocaching on 3 March 2013 and this cache brings our total find count to - 13056.

06-Jan-22
Took quite a bit of time and multiple angles of attack for SirFancy to finally get his hands on this cache.
For us it was about 5m south of where we were being pointed.

All the junior members of the team were in vacation care today so I arranged with SirFancy to head out for a caching trip.
The plan was to avoid the heat of the day and get going in the early morning, as is usually the way it took a bit longer to get started and a calm and cloudless day had the temperature rising quickly.
Luckily for us the walk along the paths of Lake Coogee has lots of tree cover that helped keep us relatively cool.
We had a great morning out collecting 15 finds and 0 DNF’s before heading home to enjoy the cricket.

Headed out with Cirrus_WA today to get some caches around lake Coogee, we happily found 15 today without any DNF’s. Caching is always a good motivator for a long walk.

This is my 1261 find.
Thank you Gumnut6160 for placing and maintaining this cache.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

10-Dec-21
Out for a morning run and grabbing a couple of caches to help me get the Reach The Peak souvenir for December on the way.
Next one around and I stood at GZ and looked around and spotted a likely candidate. I walked towards it and walked straight into a spiders web. I backed up just in time to see the spider scurrying over to the tree. I dropped to my hands and knees and crawled under to make the retrieval.
