Headed out for this group of 4 to help with todays numbers and apart from a couple of guys 'clearing firewood', not another soul was seen. All 4 caches were found without issue and all were in good shape...logbook was dry with plenty of room still available. Thanks feathertop...it was a nice walk out in the area...with a bit sunshine.
Out and about with jlc15 tidying up out of town caches. This was on the list. Great hide tftc
Short walk into GZ for an easy find! Cache and log still in good condition!! TFTC!!
Yesterday was just an ordinary day, so with little else to do, I went for a drive to find some smilies. This little walk also gave me the opportunity to stretch my legs and take some photos. This was the last stop before I made my way back along the track to my car. Thanks for placing this trail. It's always good to find new locations to explore that are not too far from home.
Found by Aussie Train Driver 30/12/2022, find number 1647.
Catching up on some really belated logging today. Final find on the trail and for us today. Very interesting to see how many cuttings and embankments were provided on this tramway - they were normally built as cheaply as possible with as little earthworks as possible. It is a shame that none of the trestle bridges survive today.

Find #2896 for me. Found at 10:26 am with my dog Bonnie while visiting the area from Bendigo. This was a quick find to complete the Anderson's Tramway series this morning. The Australian bush was simply amazing today as we walked from the intersection of Pinchgut Road and Slaters Road to here along the wonderful Goldfields Track, savoring up the beauty, freshness and silence of the bush on a cool yet pleasant Sunday morning. We walked back to the car from here along Slaters Road and I couldn't believe how far we'd come! It certainly didn't feel that long when we came here via the walking track. It just goes to show how time and distances fade away to nothing when you're having fun enjoying the bush and finding hidden treasures along the way. Thanks so much for bringing us to a different section of the Goldfields Track today feathertop (totally new to me!) and thanks for the history and the cache!
An afternoon walk with the geodog saw us here today. This section is one of my fav parts between Creswick and Daylesford so it was nice to return. All caches were easy finds. Hope there are more coming soon! Ha ha. Thanks so much!
A trip down memory lane for me having grown up in this area! Many many years of riding horses through the bush here it's nice to revisit these places and make new ones in the process. A nice quick find before heading down the road in search of the next one. TFTC
Finally a day to take the dog on a hunt for some caches in the bush. And a nice one too. Thanks for that caches and making it an enjoyable arvo.
**Found whist in Creswick house sitting**
Chasing a few caches for the 'Reach the Peak' souvenir. Ironically, this month is Everest. I climbed to Everest base camp *many many* years ago on my first ever overseas holiday - 7 weeks and **best holiday** I've ever had
A fantastic day to be out in the fresh air and sunshine. Lovin' life, coffees and caches, waymarks and photos, taking the roads (and tracks) less traveled. Does it get any better than traveling this great land of ours?
A nice straight forward find here. The log was stamped and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache feathertop. Appreciate your efforts.
- P
*Took*: Nothing
*Left*: Nothing
**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

Beautiful tall timbers here, a bit of breeze through the canopy, a lovely spot.
Slowly working our way to Ballarat from the Wang Mega we made our way here to finalise the last 4 caches in the series. Once the fit Triton got back to the car we continued up the well maintained gravel road to the last one where he walked in and made the easy find.
Thanks feathertop for the series placement.

We were lurking around these parts picking up some loose unfound caches. We had lunch at Sailors Falls with the hordes of suburbanites escaping town on a great 30 degree Melbourne Cup Day.
It wasn’t to far for us to seek solitude back in the forest to find the first of four relatively newer caches by Feathertop that we hadn’t found.
A nice quick and easy find.

{FTF} with Glanville Girls this afternoon. We thought it was a shame to leave caches undiscovered so we headed out the way and had a great time exploring the area.
Thanks feathertop for placing and giving us a reason to get out of the house.

Joint {FTF} with Wozzle68. I noticed these were still unfound this afternoon so a quick call to Wozz and we were on our way. I haven't ever been out this way before and found myself in a 'new to me' area. The sun was low in the sky and the golden light was beautiful flickering across the pastures on our way in. The first one was a nice quick find. Thanks for placing feathertop.
