Headed out for this group of 4 to help with todays numbers and apart from a couple of guys 'clearing firewood', not another soul was seen. All 4 caches were found without issue and all were in good shape...logbook was dry with plenty of room still available. Thanks feathertop...it was a nice walk out in the area...with a bit of sunshine.

Yesterday was just an ordinary day, so with little else to do, I went for a drive to find some smilies. This little walk also gave me the opportunity to stretch my legs and take some photos. Nobody else was around, which was fine with me! Thanks for placing this trail. It's always good to find new locations to explore that are not too far from home.

Found by Aussie Train Driver 30/12/2022, find number 1644.
Catching up on some really belated logging today. I found this cache with the family whilst walking this section of the 'Great Dividing Trail'. I love exploring old railways and tramways and found this walk fascinating. One of those gems that I wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for caching. The earthworks are quite substantial for a tramway. TFTC.

Find #2893 for me. Found at 9:48 am with my dog Bonnie while on our way from Bendigo to Ballarat on a rather indirect route. Well, I've traveled along many different roads on my regular trips to Ballarat even before I knew about geocaching in 2012, and discovered even more routes since then of course, but this was the first time I'd ever come via Barkstead. I'd never even heard of Barkstead before today, so it was a nice surprise to encounter a sealed road and this beautiful little settlement on my way to this cache from Leonards Hill. After parking at the intersection of Pinchgut Road and Slaters Road, Bonnie and I made our way along the Goldfields Track to make a quick find here (once I'd read the hint, that is!) Thanks for the series and the cache feathertop!

An afternoon walk with the geodog saw us here today. This section is one of my fav parts between Creswick and Daylesford so it was nice to return. All caches were easy finds. Hope there are more coming soon! Ha ha. Thanks so much!

I am so thankful for amazing geocachers like feathertop who not only research the history but also take the time to hide and maintain these treasures for us to find. It's such a pleasure to escape from the every day and take a stroll in the peaceful surrounds. Thanks for another great cache.

After a yoga session nearby, we detoured here to grab this cache. We parked at the closest point and bush bashed but the GT would have been the way to go. Thanks feathertop, I am looking forward to more in this series.

Finally a day to take the dog on a hunt for some caches in the bush. And a nice one too. Thanks for that caches and making it an enjoyable arvo.

This one was a bit harder to find, and it wasn't until I read a previous log that I found that I was looking in the wrong pace and the wrong altitude. I found it at 1.6 metres and in an obvious place. Still easy too.

Feathertop, I strongly suspect that I am not the only one looking forward to doing more of these.

That was another really enjoyable little series, thank you for the pleasure this afternoon.

Slowly working our way to Ballarat from the Wang Mega we made our way here to finalise the last 4 caches in the series. The fit Triton walked the trail while I drove around to the other end. The butterflies were thick here along the path and the sun shining through the trees made for a magical effect.
Thanks feathertop for the placement.

Found this one on the ground, so replaced, above this site, possibly another higher than suggested, but obviousl and safe.
Once again we are in nice forest unaffected by the menacing winds we had some time ago as well as on 29/10…our Covid locked up release day.

Last one today was found safely tucked away. Thanks for the lovely stroll today in the fresh air. I'll add a favourite for the series on this one.
Thanks for placing Feathertop.

{FTF} with Glanville Girls this afternoon. We thought it was a shame to leave caches undiscovered so we headed out the way and had a great time exploring the area.
Thanks feathertop for placing and giving us a reason to get out of the house.
