A maintenance check was conducted on Saturday 26/10/2024. The cache was found to be in working order. The logbook was replaced as it was full.

In Hammy Hill to grab a few caches. Parked opposite this one and found it quickly as it was sitting in the open. Log signed and returned to it's likely home. TFTC

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 55 - Fremantle Day. In the morning I jumped on my eScooter and did a handful of caches not too far from the caravan park. One new estate nearby with an amazing statue was a highlight and then down to the beach. After lunch I jumped in the car and did a few caches a bit further away including some very creative caches in reserves. The afternoon was in the car to get a bit closer to Fremantle city before I jumped back on the eScooter to do some Labs and some more caches. I visited an upstairs club for a drink overlooking the city before heading home to cook dinner.I did a series of very challenging caches next. This was our next target, we parked a short walk from gz and after a brief search Leega spotted the prize. After clearing away the spider web we made the grab and soon had our names added to your log. The camo blends in perfectly. Favourite point coming up when the truck drops off a new batch. In another arbitrary personal challenge to get 500 finds in a month, I find myself flogging myself to make it to the line before the end of the month! So today I had a pitiful 10 finds, NINE DNFs and was only saved by 16 AdLab smilies from admission to the hall of caching shame.

Find 9 for the day and a definite theme going on.

Looking at the map the other day showed us that we had a bunch of unfound caches around this area so we decided to head here to grab a few smilies.

G’day there Lachlan1.77, I was in this area today and found your cache Ely GC9HWW3. Our name was added to the log book at 9:24 am on 12 December 2021. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

We took up Geocaching on 3 March 2013 and this cache brings our total find count to - 12922.

Out for a morning run to grab some of the caches I have been saving for the Reach the Peak Challenge.
I arrive at GZ and the council recycling collection truck was stopped nearby with the driver taking a smoko. He seemed more interested in his phone than me so once I spotted the likely host candidate I was able to sit down and discretely complete the log.
