Cache is still in place to be found, but no lid anymore and GZ is a bit more overgrown. Probably a higher difficulty than it was originally. Probably time to put this one to bed, but will leave in place if anyone is into the archived caches.

Husband and I tried searching everywhere - no such luck for team L-Dub.

03-Jun-23
Was just about to give up on this one and tried two more options and thankfully came up with the find. Lid is missing, but log is quite tight so it shouldn’t fall out. TFTC

08-Apr-23
Looked everywhere no sign of it

Only dnf of the day for us unfortunately, will come back to look again sometime

18-Jul-22
Quick find, log had fallen out of its home, may need maintenance. TFTC

We were looking for the odd thing amongst a thousand items. We looked around carefully and after about 5 minutes turned up the right item.
It was well concealed so we almost discounted it. As said the lid is missing but it doesn't seem to matter.
We came up with S32.06.662 E115.49.814 about 5m away.
While here the police rang us. They saw our car parked near the fence and looked up the rego then rang us to ask if everything was ok. They thought it may have been stolen and abandoned. Thats good police work. Happy for them to make sure things were all ok.

Found after about 5 minutes, so not too shabby Smile
Lid missing from cache holder. Log still in good condition, but hopefully won't get lost/fall out. Signed and replaced. Thanks

Find 13 of 23 with 1 DNF from two solo bike rides on a perfect sunny autumnal day, first around three very scenic lakes and then exploring Jandakot Airport, salted with two quality Ad Labs. Today's entertainment was mainly provided by fratra, spotandpatch and Lachlan1.77. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining your caches.

The subtle hint narrowed down the search but it still took a minute to spot. The lid is indeed missing - had a good look for it but only turned up some broken bits in the sand. The log may drop out as a result.

TFTC Lachlan1.77!

Drove around closer to this cache and spent quite a bit of time scratching about and almost started to walk away when SirFancy called out found it.
The container was missing its cap but everything else is holding up well.

With an event on the cards swapped the traditional Tuesday night caching for a Wednesday this week.
Met up with SirFancy, Meme28 & I C Nothing after work to reform the SMIC or is that MICS.
Started in Bibra Lake before making our way to Freo.
After a good feed and catch-up at the event made our way along the river towards the city picking up finds that we all needed.
An absolutely fantastic evening with friends managed to net me 14 finds and 1 DNF.

I was very tempted to pop out and grab this one when I saw it pop up as it was close by but it was a little late for me. I bought all the soakwells for my house from this place back when it was operational, it was very convenient.
I stopped by at the end of my run to look for it. The cache took a little bit of searching. It would have been a little quicker if I had picked up the hint in the description. Once found though it took me longer to try and get the log out of the container, it was jammed in there quite well.
