Found when collecting our daughter from Brownie Camp at Waiora. She had a fabulous time exploring the area. Thanks for the cache. Container nice and dry, but one clasp is broken.
A quick find. I was surprised to voices of young lads midweek. Maybe a school camp.
I noticed this cache was close to where I had parked for a just completed hike so I stopped on my return drive. I was initially searching in the wrong place but I soon got things sorted.
Ok this was a bit bigger than expected. The scout kiddboos can't leave this one along. Don't put any trackables in it. tftc
Found the scout throwdown that has invaded this geo zone lifting the Rhodo in first place searched, not really using the hint. On a thick bed of leaves high and dry, so if there was a smaller cache buried there? we didn't see it. Over a year since the Placemakers 1Lt screws box has been in hide and whilst there is a laminated muggle sheet, no logbook and signed the two pages of someone's Seventh Day Adv camp letter as logging paper. Any logbook left by the scouts is gonnee and no sign of the previous logslips by this listing's CO. All dry and ok in a baggy, several peeps have signed the folded page in places, funnily enough not too many current signing/logging. TNLN returning the cache as found. I abhor leaving TB's in scout caches where they go to die and inventory will be placed in safer caches elsewhere. Grant Brae Scout Den Brownie UK carlshawkins had returned to Cumbria, UK and abandoned the Vauxhall cache peeps had stuffed a diaper in the water meter hole. Noice quiet area, not may peeps were using the road today and area invites further adventures when things are more settled. 12yrs since the original Dunedin Mega in the other camp ground and a previous Cito gave light to LLS Lefty Lone Scout putting a name to another cache owner and a few familiar faces. Opted for this trad for the Blue Switch [s](https://www.geocaching.com/souvenir/?guid=f01d92e8-391a-478c-bf84-d746927afefa)ouvenir today rather than the latest Contra Covid cluster bomb happening in town. Thanks for creating this listing Debs. 2485
Had a bit of time between jobs today and was nearby so made the detour here to grab this cache. Didn’t take long until the cache was in hand and the paperwork completed.
Thanks for the cache, debsnz

Well, we found a geocaching container with the Adventure Plus label in it, hidden beside the hint object but it seemed to be missing a logbook and was a regular size rather than a small size. There were a couple of pages of paper in it with names on it so we added ours. Then we had a good look in the nearby crack in case there was another container there but we couldn’t find one.
I am not sure what is going on with this geocache?

Cache 1203 Finding caches for my “wheel of challenges” trip, headed to Dunedin Easter Friday ️for some hidden dates caches and if I’m lucky 1 or 2 D/T caches then when I return home on Sunday I plan on attacking the power trail at the back of lake Waihola to finish the challenge of “seeking smileys” x100 for the month. This was my first cache of the day not a hidden date just a passing cache on the way to my first target cache for the day, cache in good condition T4TC
Today I wanted to find gold in Silver Streambut I only found cachesGreetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

I was with the CO when this series was placed, but I think enough time has gone by for me to redo the circuit and sign them off. At this one I had to pretend to be talking on my phone when a muggle went by (although there is no phone coverage, not really my best work in the world of stealth...) before I could replace it.
Time to kill, while waiting for the meal. went for a wander with P & Vee to find this easy cache.

A quick find in the heat. Pleased to quickly grab, sign and return to the air-conditioned car. Tftc
I couldn't see the hint object until it was pointed out to me. This was the last one in our successful day out. Thanks for the caches on the track plus this one.
We took P&Vee's van because it was, ooh, a couple of hundred metres to walk otherwise. Flung the van doors open, converged on the spot... spotted the hint from a distance, and KiwiChris was already reaching for it. A car left the scout camp as we signed the log - we smiled and waved - did they wonder what we were doing there?
Last cache for the day KC reached over and grabbed it while the rest of us were still trying to locate the hint object. Thanks for a great morning in the Silverstream.
The Wednesday walking group contained 5 geocachers (can't understand why the non cachers all had something else to do today). Found on our way home. Vee was a Kea, Club. Scout and Rover so a familiar area for me.

Lots of memories flooding back while sculpting around this area. 1962 International Jamboree for example
Had a wee bit of time this morning so came out an grabbed a cache. Thanks Bitsprayer
Back up in Dunedin helping with the grandkids but have 4 hours approx spare in the middle of the day too find caches. Perfect. And NZ Bozzy said there is some new caches out Silverstream way. Had not been out here before so off I set. After walking school bus duties, and kindy drop off, a coffee was called for and then off I set for some new caches and also this one. Thanks for the cache debsnz. Cool fence for this adventure.
A quick easy find with the hint, after our wander around the tracks to find the other new caches. TFTC
November is a busy month in most people's lives, second only to December I suspect. Teachers are very busy at this time as we begin assessing and writing school reports.
This probably explains why we have so many dot days in November and December! So the mission this year is to beat the COVID blues and the report writing mania by taking time out to fill dot days in the evenings.
At the Wal's garden centre waiting for my wife to make a purchase and decided to check my email. What do you know - two new caches just down the road! Off we went pulling the trailer! Ticked off a dot day with two FTFs. Not a bad effort. [FTF]

Nice to see some new caches pop up. Not many appearing on gc.com lately. Wonder why? Initially looked on the wrong side of the driveway but once we shifted to the other side it was immediately in hand. TFTC.
