Sometimes its good to be short but today wasnt one of those times With a TOTT that Mother Nature provided I was not only able to retrieve the cache but with a bit of jiggling, I was able to replace it also!TFTC OZGrumpyKeep smiling
Basking in the glow of attending SAs Leap Year MEGA Event, we found a few caches and watched the Collingwood movie Take the Steps nearby. This one had us all over the show but got there eventually. Crafty hide. Favourite point worthy.OZGrumpy, I found Shillabeer Reserve today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

TFTF was a good cache and fun task to achieve I did bring a tall friend with me on this adventure .
Ocw the Bebes as we visit the area. Quick park and find for this one. Nice hide. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Exploring the area on our way to the coast, zigzagging for quick finds in new LGAs. This was a cleverly crafted cache that required a little teamwork. Tftc
I came vertically equipped ! The clever camouflage didnt want to budge. Took some convincing with my keys! Tftc!
Found it the handle came of I think so used a stick from the other side to poke it out
Accurate coordinates and something we had not see before in this situation led to a quick find of a cleverly designed and very well placed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OZGrumpy for a simple yet very effective hide. It earns a favourite from us.
I was having other commitments nearby and I swung by to get my daily cache.
After a little bit of searching I spotted something odd, which was the prize I was looking for.
Log book was signed and cache returned. All is well here and well done on the camo.
Thanks OZGrumpy for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3290 on the 24th of July 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

I reckon I'm on the scent for this one... But as light faded and I started to look suspicious, I decided to leave it for another time. I'm on to you though OzGrumpy
Found on our way past while touring around the area today. Real nicely hidden cache, like your work. Signed log and left as found, cheers.

One of these things is not like the others! The hardest part about this cache was getting it out of its hidey hole- the bit that is supposed to help you grab it has come off (it’s in the cache, but we didn’t have glue)
Easter Geocache day with Peas&CarrotsForever!
A quick find but a sneaky hide! No muggles insight which was a bonus!

Out with AussieGal88 today, clocking up our 100 caches in April for the Wheel of Challenges. Nice easy find, not so easy grab. TFTC
Spotted it so not officially a DNF, but will need to return with a step ladder. I’m too short.
Great hide. Found on my way to the Regency CITO event. Favourite from me. TFTC OZGRUMPY
Excellent hide, obviously a bit of thought & effort has gone in to this. Gets a favourite point from me

Stretched to get this one. Great design hidden in plain sight. Fav point for the build here!
You might wonder what I’m doing prowling around Ferryden Park after midnight; there’s a logical explanation, but it would take too long to explain.
This is the second of two OZGrumpy caches attempted the other day but no log signed for want of the right TOTT. This one was particularly frustrating - so close, just couldn’t close the deal. A simple job tonight with the necessary tools.
Awesome workmanship on this cache.
Thanks OZGrumpy.

Out about down south for a Wednesday wander.
The group consisted of SA Sewer Rats, bluewrentit and Astro.
This was my last cache for the day.
Bluewrentit graciously stopped by and grab the cache for me.
There were muggles around so a quick grab was in order.
Stamped the logbook and the cache was quickly returned.
it was a lovely day to be caching.
We had a lot of laughs. A fav point for the hide. TFTC
On my way to visit another Caching friend whom lives in my former home town, i pulled in to make the quick grab of this sweet hide.... well, not quite so quick as i was inspecting things left, right and center and still couldn't spot the darn thing. It was some 3 or so minutes later it was finally spotted.
I wasn't successful at extracting it so back to the GeoMobile to grab the 'SLR' (Stubborn Log Remover) and it was out in a jiffy [^]
SL at 10:17 on Tuesday the 12th of July 2022.
All is dry within the cache.

Someone did not steal it!!!! The cache is there. Someone has ripped off the handle, so future finders will need to get crafty to get the little fella out the hole. I know you can do it. I will arrange a new handle soon. Thanks for looking. Cache on.
Today I went to Croydon Park for business. I left home early, to find some caches near there.
Tried 5 caches, including 3 mystery caches, 1 traditional cache and 1 multi cache, plus did some maintenance check for 2 of our caches.
This was the third find for today.
I thought it was just an ordinary traditional cache, but that was a mistake.
At GZ, my geocaching experience made me spotted something extraordinary. No one was around, and I quickly checked it out. As I suspected, that's something I'm looking for. Definitely favourite point!
Signed the log book, and put it back.
And took a photo for the nearby playground, before I left.
Thanks for the smart cache, OZGrumpy.

After being at hairdresser came prepared to find the cache. Fav point coming. Tftc
With the playground in full swing and several other areas being used , we were most thankful that GZ was clear [8)].

A morning run picking up a few that had already been found by other members of the group but where the Adder was unable to join. Then meeting a Starfish after lunch to continue seeking newer hides in areas that had previously been cleared.
heading into town to meet the Starfish this one could not be ignored. A quick find and replace with a TB added to the stash.
Thank you for the cache OZGrumpy, found 3/03/2022, 1:27:25 PM

This was my second of 2 finds needed for today in my 10 a day quest. Standing on the base bolts gave me the extra elevation required. TFTC OzGrumpy very nicely constructed and blends in very well.

It was 2sday the 22 /02/2022 and there was an event planned for 22:22 hours and 22 second that evening! So what do you do if you are Anymules. [?] You pick up Brisal after work and go in search of solved puzzles and anything else you come across until it is Event Time. As you do.
Whilst I was looking in all the wrong places Anymules made a quick find. Another clever hide. [:X]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks OZGrumpy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Headed west today and after completing the new Lunch Walk series took the long way home via 4 Used 2B a Church, 2 Game Set and Matches, 2 solved puzzles and a newish traditional. All looked for were found and stamped.
Being my favourite type, traditional, this one was definitely on the list and I'm certainly glad it was. The description and hint made for a quick find of a very well engineered hide.
Thanks to OZGrumpy for placing this cache on the SA Geocaching map.

After an early morning brekkie event out north I decided to come here to find this cache and another couple close by on my way home. [^]
I had not read the cache description before getting here and being short I didn't have any elevation device in the car. Wandered over to GZ and soon spotted the hide, then went back to the car for a TOTT I did have and it worked well. Cache was soon in hand and the log signed, then all replaced as found...very cool.
Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy and a favourite for me.

Spent a fun day in the big smoke dodging people and finding caches with froghoppin and Sebastbat.
Yours was one of them. It was a nice quick find as I had both a tall friend and tall son to retrieve, and I could just get it back. A neat hide. Defs a fav for not being a mint tin!!! Nicely made.
Thanks to OZGrumpy for placing and keeping this cache on our SA geo game map

Looking around every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!
Into the second month of Twenty Twenty Too Enjoy!!!

Been eyeing this one off since it was published, but have been busy, however today had to head out and run an errand and made the decision to make the detour and the find.
Headed to the area, parked nearby and wandered over to GZ and looked around. Spotted the cache. Very clever. Love a well engineered cache. Fave for that. Signed the log and then replaced all as found.

A lovely reserve and playground. A kid was hanging around so had to use stealth mode. Thanks OZGrumpy for a cool hide.
After dropping my partner off for an appointment in the city I had a free hour to drive around and do a few unfound caches before returning for pick up.
Short stop here today cache was easily found and is all good

Another well designed OZgrumpy cache. Thanks. First trip too many muggles to retrieve the cache, so returned with makingpie pie in the dark for the retrieval sign, and return.
A really cool hide. We came in daylight but left without retrieving and signing the log as there were people everywhere so we came back under the cover of darkness made the very quick find and sign. The cache was replaced exactly as found.

Out and about on a little loop around the inner city suburbs. Spotted the odd thing out, retrieved the cache, admired the workmanship, signed and replaced. Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy!
On forty degree day you wished this reserve was actually chill-a-beer park. Free chilled beer for everyone. So good. May be I will start the free chilled beer political party. There are two elections coming the next 4 months. I am sure we can get some votes for Free Chilled Beer. Party headquarters this park.
No ducks disease problems here. I am very impressed with the 3D printing. The perfect little space filler. Chill A Beer.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Our third find and second FTF for this morning. What a great start to the weekend We met OZGrumpy at the previous cache, and soon realised he would not be perusing this find So we decided to on a slight detour as we headed back home. Arriving at GZ, we were glad it was not later in the day, as there would likely be many muggles around. Luck was again on our side, and we made a fairly quick find Definitely a favourite point for this cache! TFTC OZGrumpy!

After finding a new BFE cache early this morning I headed home to grab some lunch and head back out in the afternoon to find some newer caches in my old Salisbury stomping ground. Grabbed a few in salubrious downtown Wingfield before proceeding to St Kilda where all caches were in a great condition...and no mozzies were about. Thence onto Lake Windemere (where I spoke with the owner of the cache I had retrieved), Salisbury City Centre and the great suburb of Para Hills. All up 16 caches were collected and the only two DNFs were ones that I would have needed a pole for (which I am yet to purchase). The ladder was removed from the boot of the car on three occasions. Along the way I was kept company by the MMM commentary team outlining ball by ball how Australia was dismantling England. TFTC to all cache owners.
